Ch 90 — Monster Summoning

Note: There was a revision to the previous chapter, after Tohrei used gluttony on darkness magic : dark predators should be Tohrei gk dpet darkness magic but dark predators because in ch 66 Tohrei already dpet darkness magic. Sorry for this little mistake.

“How is it possible ... ? Even after all that ... ?!” Cresil was in disbelief, the attacks he launched were all almost on par with his full strength, yet it did not work at all on Tohrei.

It was all not yet the full strength of Cresil, but it included his strongest attack. If this much power is not enough to subvert Tohrei, then he must use his full strength. This was solely for the tools necessary for his master.

The grand prize of this tournament was something required by his employer. The gift was very important to his employer because it was a tool that would be the main key to their problem.

“You ... You're not human!” Firmly Cresil with a look of annoyed face.

“I'm a real human being, exactly what should be called that is you. There's no point in hiding it anymore. Show your true self.” Tohrei walked slowly towards Cresil.

“Downess? Ha! Ahahaha!! Gahahahaha!!” Cresil suddenly laughed out loud as if he had become insane.

Cresil no longer cares, the gift desired by his employer he will not care.

Cresil throws his mask, instantly his appearance changes. From what initially only looked like an ordinary human, now Cresil looks like a demon. Black eyes with red pupils, pointed ears but long shelves, and long canine teeth.

The audience was surprised, Cresil who they thought was just a human who uses dark magic turned out to be different, he looks like a real demon told in a fairy tale book.

To the people of this continent, demons or demons were considered only fairy tales because no one saw them in person. However, there was no doubt that Cresil was a pure demon.

The spectators immediately panicked, none of them doubting the success of the Cresil race. In fact, the referee escaped as soon as possible from the arena. However some people such as participants and former participants did not feel panicked, they simply increased their alertness.

“It turns out to be true, this is no doubt! I met the devil again.” Tohrei was finally satisfied to see Cresil's original appearance.

“Now there is no running road for you! ”

Cresil created a group of humanoids whose entire body was filled with darkness with his magic. They are called dark dolls.

“If compared to the previous demon, you seem to look more demonic.” Tohrei muttered, ignoring the presence of that bunch of darkness puppets, he was still focused on Cresil's appearance.

“Damn it! Why are you so relaxed?! Darkness puppets! Finish him!” Cresil's word to the dark puppets.

“What if I am too relaxed? You think I'm gonna be depressed by a demon? Just so you know, before this I have fought with other demons.”

“!”

“!”

Two summon result monsters instantly appeared. The two monsters were the summons of the demon that Tohrei had first encountered.

“What the fuck, I didn't know that he could use summon!” Harciest who was still settling was surprised to see that skill, even to his knowledge, summoning wyvern was even quite difficult for ordinary summoner monsters.

“He is indeed very mysterious, he seems to be in a different world.”

“Ah? That you're Zen?” Harciest turned to the origin of the voice. He found Zen had not left this place either.

“Hmp.” Zen simply blinked his eyes, ignoring Harciest's words. They were a little familiar before the tournament because they met by chance.

When Tohrei defeated the two monsters, they did not die but broke their contract with the summoner and returned to their home world.

Tohrei once tried to summon them back and succeeded. Now he tries it again here.

“What?! No way! Isn't that the skill of the traitor?!” Cresil was surprised, the skill of the demon he knew turned out to be in Tohrei's hands.

“Cut those shadow puppets.” Tohrei ordered that to his two monster summoners.

The two monsters had without hesitation done so because that was indeed the contract they had entered into.

Black magic lion had magic characteristics similar to darkness puppets so he could fight them without any difficulty.

Meanwhile, Phantom Wyvern who also both had the attribute of darkness, shot towards Cresil and was able to deal with it fairly balanced.

‘This damn lizard! How can he equal me?!’ Cresil was confident in his strength, so just facing wyverns shouldn't be difficult. But the wyvern in front of him seemed to be at different levels, he felt almost like a dragon.

How did that happen? It was because Tohrei as their summoner, was so powerful that their potential was exposed.

Due to the similarity of attributes, the fight between them was extremely fierce. But it did not last long because the black magic lion was finished with the business of facing the darkness puppets so that now he also helped face Cresil.

Cresil was outnumbered, he was overwhelmed against the two monsters before him. When Cresil is about to be wiped out, Tohrei stops both of his monsters. He approached Cresil and asked.

“Before you're gone, I have something to ask you, why is a demon like you here? Is it because of the prize of this tournament? How valuable is that to you?”

“Precious? Ahaha! I don't care about that anymore! What matters to me now is to finish you off! Your delicious aroma makes me want to tear you to pieces!”

“Blaince! Bully me! Use all your strength! Finish him off mercilessly!” Cresil's entire body darkened and eventually exploded and caused a thick black smoke.

“How sloppy, should I use regnare!”

“Retreat!” Tohrei ordered his two monsters to retreat.

Having just stepped back, a figure of darkness emerged from behind him and menroha tore Tohrei apart with his claws. But Tohrei swiftly threw the figure with his feet.

The figure of darkness is Blaince, he looks like his usual form, but now he looks very terrible and his body is larger.

After being knocked down by him, Blaince did not give up, he again attacked Tohrei directly. But Tohrei dodged his attack easily while smiling.

Tohrei quickly activated the skill on Blaince. Instantly his figure was absorbed into Tohrei's body in an instant.

[Darkness Spirit: Blaince has been absorbed! You can now summon Blaince using spirit summoning! Blaince will obey all your orders!]

“Ha? The reward is not ability? The spirit? Very interesting.”

“Oh yes, I should have used darkness magic as well on him, maybe he would have been even more upset. But I forgot I ever got that magic.” Tohrei rarely saw his status so sometimes the skills he rarely used often he forgot. For example, the new summoning monster Tohrei used twice.
