Ch 57 — Past Eriana & Tohrei(6)
An equestrian knight led an army that was said to be an imperial army. He wore armor that looked different and stronger than the others. His face looks firm and fierce. He was the general of that army.
“All teams! Catch those bandits and tie them up! Prioritize the safety of the princess!” The leader of the army mustered his orders to his subordinates.
“Create!!” The soldiers replied, they captured the bandits. The strength of the army was above them so that they could be caught easily.
“Are you okay madam?” One of the soldiers tried to save Ersila.
“Ya, I'm fine.” Ersila nodded slowly. He had absolutely no expectations regarding the arrival of these troops. He was at a loss to question the reason for their sudden presence.
“Gather those bandits!”
“Ya sir!” The soldiers of the army brought the bandits they had captured to gather.
After that, the general got off his horse and walked towards Eriana. He immediately knelt before Eriana and lowered his head.
“I, General Albert asked to take you back to the palace.” The general said it respectfully in front of him.
“Jeral Albert? How did you know I was here?” Eriana looked curious.
“We came to this city because we got a report that there is illegal activity in this city. Plus the kidnappings that often happen here. I myself did not expect to discover your existence by chance. We have captured its leader.” The general named Albert gave an explanation.
“So can we go back now, princess?” Albert asked.
“What are you going to go now princess?” Tohrei tried to be respectful, he was currently in the presence of a general who served the empire. If he was not being respectful, it was possible that he would be given a heavy punishment.
Eriana who was aware of Tohrei's change of speech felt understood the reason. He then answered. “Yes, I guess only up to here you guys accompany me.”
“I'm sorry if I didn't politely ask, but who is she princess?” Albert asked.
“He was the one who accompanied me back to the empire, he was also the one who saved me.”
“Then I thank you, we actually want to take you before Empress for saving the princess, but sorry, at the moment we can't do that.” Albert thanked me and apologized.
“Ti.no, the..,”.
“Then will you come back now princess?” Albert asked.
“I will wait.” Albert stood up again and permission to briefly gather with his subordinates.
“It's a shame we can't be together much longer Rei.” Eriana regrets that.
“It's okay, I'm sure someday we'll meet again.” Tohrei said with a big smile.
“Then there is one small gift for you, as a farewell.”
“Gift?” Tohrei was confused by the gift that Eriana meant.
Eriana approached Tohrei's ear and whispered. “I like you.” The soft voice entered his ears. After whispering that line, Eriana kissed Tohrei's cheek and left.
“See you Rei!” Eriana waved her hand and went to general albert. Maria said her business was done.
Tohrei was speechless, unknowingly the troops that captured the bandits had left with Eriana.
“Let's go home, Ersila. Our business here is done.” Tohrei gave Ersila an order.
“Understanding, young master.” Ersila appeared out of nowhere. Previously he was busy releasing people who were captured by bandit bandits. He was also assisted by General Albert's forces to release them. The men were now safely taken by General Albert's men.
“I think it's the first time I've fallen in love..” Tohrei muttered as he scratched his non-itchy head and looked at the sky.
“Come go Ersila.” Tohrei started walking away.
“Ya, young master.” Ersila and Tohrei walked leisurely away from the city and returned home.
—Ashfriet Forest Limitation, Present-day—
After several hours of running at high speed, Tohrei and Ikumi finally reached the limit of the forest. Tohrei felt that from his Area detection skill. He also saw what kind of environment was outside this forest.
Once it reached outside the forest, a fresh breeze hit them. The scenery they saw was a large hilly meadow that could not be seen with the naked eye of Tohrei or Ikumi.
“Waah...! Lovely..” Ikumi seemed amazed at the sight she saw.
