Ch 84 — Dragon Magic

Dragon magic (Dragon Magic), it was a magic that only the dragon race could have. Dragon Magic is one magic that is very difficult to understand. That was because Dragon Magic had different laws to magic in general.

Ifrit gave a counterattack, a huge blaze burst out from Ifrit's sword. The flames had a towering length. Immediately, Ifrit swung the sword with the blaze towards Ryui.

Ryui belittles Ifrit's attack, deliberately avoiding it. Ryui just smiled faintly from behind her mask.

‘!’ A shield with dragon carvings was created. The shield protects Ryui from Ifrit's attack.

‘That was also dragon magic! He's not kidding! Then I won't mess around either!’ Ifrit let out a stronger fire.

Ifrit let out a blaze with dark red all over his body. The flames formed into a phoenix that was ready to prey on its opponent.

“Fire Phoenix? His name is serious!” Ryui darted forward towards Ifrit. His gauntlet-lined right hand suddenly gave rise to a black aura that was strangely not dark but very bright.

Ifrit fends off Ryui's attack with his sword. Her legs moved slightly backwards due to the push Ryui gave her.

“But unfortunately, my magic is able to fight your fire.” Ryui said right in front of Ifrit.

The phoenix flame, a fire that was extremely powerful as it was capable of obliterating other magic. Even if it was an extremely powerful water magic, the phoenix flames would not be able to be extinguished.

However, from above Ryui's sky, Ifrit appears and tries to slash him from above. But Ryui was able to avoid it with quick reflexes.

Ifrit who did not get his target now fell and landed perfectly. He stared intently at Ryui, only focused on her.

The fire dome covered half the area of the fighting arena. The spectators who saw the dome were astonished because of the appearance of the dome.

“What happened there?” Ikumi was worried and curious about the situation of Ifrit and Ryui.

“You will know the reason soon.” Ifrit drew out his sword, out of it came a fire that did not emit light. That fire created a strong chill, it was the Black Flame.

“So that's the reason? Pulling!” Ryui smiled broadly at the black flames. He was no stranger to fire.

The deep fire devours all matter. This flame cannot devour non-matter but its ability to devour matter is really fast. This fire will not be extinguished except by its own users. Unlike fire in general, black fire has a piercing chill.

These fires can also be called Inferenna Flames. In this world black flames were extremely rare not even a single one of its users in this age. Ifrit felt a little surprised of course because the black fire magic user should no longer exist. But seeing Ifrit using the black flames, Ryui became more serious.

“” Hundreds of moonlight created and became solid. The moonlight shot towards Ifrit at high speed.

Ryui uses her magic as a distraction, she moves towards Ifrit while Ifrit is busy.

Having just landed, Ryui again attacked him from close range. However, unlike before, Ifrit had already prepared an attack.

From above Ifrit suddenly created a large black fireball. The black fireball stopped Ryui from attacking Ifrit.

Ryui was able to avoid the black fire, as a result of which the land where it was previously grounded is now destroyed by the black fire.

Seeing that his black flames did not hit Ryui, Ifrit immediately drew his black flames so as not to propagate too far.

They continued their fierce fight. Both sides suffered losses, but the most cornered was Ifrit.

Almost an hour of fighting went on and 30 minutes was their fight time inside the fire dome. The spectators could only wait for the outcome of the fight without seeing anything.

After waiting for quite a while, the fire dome finally disappeared. The winner is clearly visible.

Ifrit was knee-deep with wounds and the drained mana was almost depleted. Meanwhile, Ryui with less severe injuries as Ifrit still stands even though he looks a little bent. Ryui had enough trouble dealing with Ifrit's black flames.

“How exactly... Your monster rank?” Ifrit asked in a soft and slightly stammered voice.

“SS rank, but it seems that I am still too weak to be considered X rank. How about you?” Ryui replied with her slightly hunting breath.

“Huh worth it, I am just an SS-rank early spirit monster. Looks like I still have to practice.” Ifrit said before he was unconscious.

“The winner is Ryuu!” The referee said he saw the situation of Ifrit who was unconscious. There was no protest from the audience so he immediately declared the winner.

‘Wait, what?! So he's a spirit? Why have I not been aware all this time?!’ Ryui is shocked to hear the revelation of Ifrit who says that he is an SS-rank spirit.

But more surprising is, Ifrit is only SS rank and he is X rank which has a higher level and superior. Yet he could still remain overwhelmed against it.

‘It seems that my foundation is still too weak as X rank.’ Inner Ryui was a little upset.
