Ch 138 — Searching for Candidates
Library, the place is very attached to what is called knowledge. The purpose of education is to gain knowledge, so it is certain that the library is an important aspect in this regard.
Education is something that Ashfriets need today. Therefore Tohrei plans to build a library, besides building a school that is also the thing he needs.
Tohrei wanted to create a large library, so Ashfriet did not lack the knowledge of books at all.
Tohrei intends to buy books in bulk from the system. However, before carrying it out, he intended to find a genius candidate in knowledge.
While looking for candidates, Tohrei took a walk along Ashfriet. He wants to see more of the development of this region. While he was doing that, Tohrei accidentally saw a slightly troublesome incident.
“Woah seems this road is quite busy.” As long as he was here, many people were so busy with work.
Tohrei was currently wearing a robe so that his face would not be too visible. The residents of Ashfriet know his face so well, that if he shows his face blatantly then the citizens will prostrate constantly in front of him.
One of them was an orc who was busy transporting fruits with a large wooden basket.
However, Tohrei saw a hobgoblin running in a hurry to hit the orc.
“Ack?! Oi be careful if the road!” The orc was quite upset when he saw the fruits he was carrying falling because of being hit by the hobgoblins.
Tohrei helped the orc pick up the fruits using telekinesis.
“O-oh thank you. Uh! Wait aren't you—?!” Tohrei stopped the orc from saying anything.
“Do not be hard, I will be troubled if they realize it.” The Orc could see who he was, that is Ashfriet lord, Tohrei.
“Ma-forgive me,” Say the orc stammeredly.
“You better get on with work, I'll go.”
Besides, Tohrei noticed the previous hobgoblin. Tohrei was not suspicious or anything, but felt the uniqueness of the hobgoblin.
Tohrei recalled clearly how the hobgoblin looked. Round glasses were on his face. What made him even more unique was the large book he had propped up with both hands.
“A book owned by hobgoblin? Interesting, let's get to him.” The hobgoblin seemed to be in a hurry indeed, whether he wanted to go where he was but Tohrei could look for him immediately.
Apparently, the hobgoblin went to a strawberry field which is a plantation managed by Ashfriet.
“You seem a bit late, Gobtina.” A female kobold who was watering a plant greeted her.
“I slept too late so I'm almost late, I'm sorry aunty.” The Hobgoblin girl named Gobtina scratched her head while bowing her body.
“Huft .. That must be because you're busy reading books right? Well you better reduce such habits, stay up late to read the book.” The kobold woman could only forgive Gobtina with a sigh.
“A hobgoblin who likes to read books, huh? He is definitely a suitable candidate.” Tohrei, like a stalker, silently listened to them.
When the kobold woman came out, Tohrei asked when Gobtina had finished her work.
“When is he finished? Hm .. around sunset, what does Mr Tohrei need from him?” The Kobold replied, then asked.
“I have an important affair with him, this is about the development of Ashfriet.” Reveal it a bit to the kobold woman.
The Kobold was astonished, because as he remembered gobtina was not an important person other than the fact that she was a goblin who could recognize human writing, and could even easily understand it.
But the kobold woman said that she would deliver Tohrei's words to Gobtina later.
