Ch 77 — Tohrei VS Roustle

After Tohrei confronted the strange creature that attacked him, he heard a voice that he seemed to have heard.

“Destroy you lowly people!” A person with a proud and arrogant tone sounded. The lightning from the boy hit his opponent.

‘Oh? Isn't that him?’ Tohrei smiled faintly.

That person was the son of a noble who yesterday confronted him. His nature is so annoying and that trait has now become more visible.

Tohrei does not know the name of the boy but his name will be known in the second round later. Tohrei could have used Appraisal to find out but he is currently lazy to do so.

After a few minutes, the first half was finally over. It went too fast than the organizers had expected. They originally wanted to hold the first round today. But seeing how quickly the first half ended, they decided to hold the second round directly today. The audience did not suspect it either.

They immediately drew a list of participants who would fight each other. “This is a list of fights every round!”

It was fortunate, Tohrei got his first turn and his opponent was that annoying noble boy. From the announcement he learned that the noble's son was named Roustle Alfonso. While Tohrei fills his name as the name of his adventurer.

“Participants are allowed to rest a few minutes before the first game starts.” Said organizer.

A few minutes passed and the second half began. Tohrei and Roustle advanced into the arena. The spectators had already placed their bets to one of the participants who entered the first match.

Most of them chose Roustle because they knew how strong Alfonso's noble son was. Alfonso's men were trained to be magic knights. The magic knight himself is a magician who serves his country as a knight.

While Tohrei did not know their origins, placing bets on uncertain people would be even more detrimental. That's why they prefer to bet on Roustle. However, a small number of people choose to bet on Tohrei because they see the events of yesterday.

“Enough to make your opponent unconscious and do not overdo it.” Referee.

“Oh? You healed him already, huh? Fast also yes `Roustle`.” Seeing Roustle heal in just a day is quite strange even though the wound that Tohrei gave was quite large. Unless Roustle has something that heals him quickly.

Hearing his name being mentioned by Tohrei made Roustle upset. “Do not call my name low! You have no right to that!”

“You can't seem to learn from your previous mistakes huh?” Tohrei sighed softly.

“Start!” The first match started, Roustle immediately shot towards Tohrei as soon as he heard the word coming out of the referee's mouth.

Powerful electricity was created in Roustle's left hand. He tried to attack Tohrei with his left hand. In addition he used another spell to make his movements faster.

But Tohrei avoided it easily, moving to the left side to avoid it. “Slow.” Tohrei said while dodging.

“Cih! Can you just avoid it?! Is your strength too weak to attack?” Roustle bluffs Tohrei.

“Once?” Tohrei retreated a few steps and attacked.

“!” From both sides of the Tohrei created two snakes created from poison. The two snakes shot towards Roustle quickly.

Roustle created a lightning sword and destroyed the two snakes easily. “Hahaha! Apparently true! You're pretty good dodging but your strength is low!” Roustle shot out at lightning speed.

“” Created a purple circle in front of Tohrei. From the circle came a poisonous laser that shot towards Roustle.

‘It's too fast! I can't escape! I can only hold it!’ Choosing to hold back, Roustle created an electric shield all over his body.

After holding the laser for a while, it fades and disappears. ‘Huh? Disappear? Is he out of nowhere? Then this is the chance!’ Roustle smiled widely and darted towards Tohrei.

But something that he did not expect to happen, Tohrei smiled faintly. Suddenly a purple circle appeared under Roustle. Instantly, laser out of the circle. Roustle was blown away by the laser and his body was affected by the laser poison. The poison only made the consciousness disappear for a moment so it did not endanger lives.

“Oh yes, I forgot.” Tohrei muttered as if remembering something.

“” Instantly slow down time.

Tohrei jumped up and then hit Roustle to dart towards the arena wall. After that Tohrei returned to his original position and normalized the time.

Instantly Roustle slammed into the wall by himself and smashed the wall.

“Thank you to me for making you feel like crashing into a wall for the second time.” Tohrei muttered with a smile looking at the figure of Roustle who hit the wall.

The audience fell silent, they did not expect such an event to be possible. But shortly thereafter,

“Great! He was able to defeat Alfonso's descendants in just a few strikes!” Someone clapped.

The others then clapped. “Hah..., I lost heavily this time, but want how else.” A person who bet money on Roustle was now clapping while feeling disappointed.

“Master great!” Underam Tohrei applauded. Meanwhile, the other participants felt they had to be wary of Tohrei.

“Quick bring him.” Tohrei said as he pointed at Roustle from behind before leaving the arena.

“The first match winner is Yami!” The referee declared the winner.
