CHAPTER 89 | Eliminating stalkers

Baihu's forces moved in high spirits, their supplies more than sufficient for a full two months. The distance from the city of Gold to the Capital of the Western Desert Kingdom is not too far away, only reached in 7 days on foot.

On that journey they would pass through the forest before arriving at Mengsu city. Then from the city of Mengsu will meet the forest again before arriving at the capital of the Western Desert kingdom.

On the tree branch, it appeared that the Cobra Snake along with the black Scorpion were watching the camp. “Snake, it looks like our beast attack did not work.” whispered the black Scorpion.

“We wait for the early hours of the day again, when they are all exhausted, we check the camps looking for a child named Baihu and their commanders then kill him,” said the Snake Cobra.

They scanned the camp closely, they carefully moved to the next branch to take a closer look.

“We wait for them to fall asleep,” whispered the Cobra Snake putting his eyes unblinkingly towards that campground.

“Then what will we do?”

“I've told you, we will attack them when they fall asleep in the early hours.” said cobra annoyed turn to the direction of the sound.

The cobra was startled and almost fell off the branch of the tree. He saw Baihu sitting next to him as his hand held the black scorpion that was already tied and his mouth was covered in cloth. “Hmmff... “ Black scorpions try to make an unintelligible sound with their mouths covered in cloth.

The cobra snake jumped down and backward looking towards Baihu. His eyes twitched not expecting himself to be completely unaware of his arrival.

“So you guys attacked our camp with snakes and scorpions?” baihu said to the Cobra Snake.

“Who are you?” The Cobra Snake narrowed its eyes looking towards Baihu.

“I Baihu. Did you come looking for me?” tanya Baihu returned. The face of the Snake Cobra looked dark realizing that Baihu's power was on top of him.

He mastered a dangerous type of poison, so he was not afraid of Baihu even though his strength exceeded his. Not to mention that his brother-in-law the black scorpion was with him.

“Hehehe. We don't have to bother looking for you anymore. We'll kill you here.?” said the Snake Cobra.

“We? There is no us, only you are alone.” Baihu said as she patted her hands after fainting the black scorpion while descending to the ground.

The twitching Snake Cobra's brows realized that. He was shivering in coldness as cold sweat had poured out profusely all over his body. “He is not a human.” murmured

Baihu walked up to the Snake Cobra which involuntarily retreated slowly until his body hit a tree and could not retreat anymore. The cobra bit her lip to give her courage to attack Baihu.

The cobra snake then jumped towards Baihu while spitting out its saliva which contained poison. Baihu avoided being hit by the spit from the Cobra Snake. The poison from the saliva made the tree trunk behind Baihu become liquid and smell bad.

Baihu was too lazy to play around with weak enemies. He immediately moved quickly and gripped the neck of the Snake Cobra. He couldn't move even to spit. The eyes of the Cobra Snake were glaring unable to breathe. Baihu broke the cobra's neck to death.

“Cih, your poison is very dangerous for many people. I only help humans destroy trash like you,” muttered Baihu

“Ukh... “ The scorpion then regained consciousness after a pungent scent smelled on his nose. His face looked wet and his eyes dodged seeing Baihu standing in front of him with a hideous face.

“What do you want?” The scorpion asked when the cloth covering his mouth was opened by Baihu. His body shivered in fear. “Hmm...what's this smell?”

The scorpion felt his body smell less pleasant, while Baihu smiled looking at the black scorpion's face that turned ugly. “Ka-You..”.

“Already, do not need to discuss. Tell me how many of you followed me?” Baihu asked the Black Scorpion.

The black scorpion did not answer the question from Baihu, its face was annoyed yet powerless to resist with its body bound.

“Alright, because you don't know. I had to kill you because you were worth nothing. Unless you have important information, I can consider releasing yourself” Baihu said then while expending his energy on killing the black Scorpion.

The Scorpion's eyes seemed to jump looking at the light in Baihu's palm that was ready to point to his head. “Tu-Wait first. I'll tell you. I'll tell you,” Scorpions get nervous instantly.

“Only me and the Snake follow you. Master Merah, my teacher is waiting for you with my brothers Red Calf and Toad Belang in the city of Mingsu” said the black Scorpion smoothly in one breath.

“Good, go!” Baihu untied the black Scorpion. Black scorpion stunned. “Is it true I can go?” tanyanya back.

“Iya. I told you I was going to let you go. I will not break the promise” Baihu said calmly.

“Hmm... why do I feel bad yah?” murmured black scorpion.

Seeing that the black Scorpion was still hesitant to leave, Baihu snapped at him. “Do you want me to break my promise?” snapped it.

“Ah, no. I went.” The scorpion immediately jumped away from that place. But as soon as he took three steps, Sunu immediately pounced on him and bit the neck of the black scorpion to death with the neck almost severed with eyes glaring in disbelief.

“I let you go, but in the forest you should be careful. There are many wild beasts that can prey on you,” Baihu said casually.

Baihu then walked towards the encampment followed by the Sunu tiger behind him. Two stalkers had been snuffed out by them.

“Take it easy, two stalkers are dead. But we remain vigilant. We better not have to stop by the town of Mengsu. Our journey continues by passing through the city of Mengsu,” Baihu said to his friends.

“Good!” His friends answered.

The next morning, Baihu's army woke up in high spirits. They continued their westward march, passing through the town of Mengsu and then camped back in the forest before arriving at the capital of the Western Desert kingdom.

The town of Mengsu, the Red Master along with the Red Centipede and the Toad Belang had been waiting without sleep since last night. They scanned the city gates of Mengsu to see the arrival of Baihu's troops entering the city gates.
