CHAPTER 47 | Yang Zi disappeared

The next day Wang Mei was already in front of the guest room occupied by Baihu. He knocked on the door of his room and waited for Baihu to come out. His face seemed radiant when he saw Baihu coming out of the room.

Wang Mei then took her to the dining room to enjoy the Wang family breakfast. Seen in the dining room, there had been both Wang Mei's parents with her brother Wang Bao.

The faces of the three of them were shocked by Wang Mei's arrival with beaming faces along with Baihu. They did not expect the change to happen to Wang Mei's attitude since Baihu's arrival in the Wang family.

“Baihu, we eat first. After that I will drive you around the city of Persik.” Wang Mei said.

“Good sister Wang” Baihu

Wang Mei's eyes were on both her parents and her brother,”Dad, Mother. Kakar” shouted while saluting.

“Chairman, Nyonya” says Baihu while saluting both parents Wang Mei.

Wang Mei then walked up to her mother and sat next to her spoiled, “Dad, Mother. I will go take Baihu to look around Peaches city after breakfast” he said with a cheerful face.

“Uhuk!.” Wang Mei's father coughed at the words of his daughter. His mother smiled to see her son back cheerful as before,”Go. Don't come home too late” said Wang Mei's mother with a smile

Wang Mei's father turned his head towards his wife about to protest, but his wife's feet had stepped on her feet and made her eyes bulge. Wang Bao Wang Mei's older brother didn't care about it. He simply continued eating without turning his head towards Wang Mei.

After finishing his breakfast, Wang Mei took Baihu around the city of Peaches. He explained his childhood places to Baihu before he went to the Sun Moon sect. Then they arrived at a port that looked very crowded.

“Baihu, since childhood I have wanted to go sailing to see other places in this part of the world” Wang Mei muttered while looking at the sailing ships in that port.

“Can't sister still do that?” baihu Sahut

Wang Mei smiled,” Ah, I am a woman and my age is no longer young. Both my parents wanted me to be in the family more than traveling the world like a male” continued Wang Mei.

Baihu did not understand that, for her women and men alike, so they could choose to do the same in their lives.

“Ah, you are still a child. Sure don't understand what I mean” smile Wang Mei.

Baihu did not ask any more, as she realized she was indeed a child.

“Sister Wang, what happened while I was in the cave?” ask Baihu.

Wang Mei's face pensively heard Baihu's question, she then sighed before starting to answer it.

“After the match the looters who managed to bring valuables from inside the cave went from the place while kidnapping the heads of the big sects” recalls Wang Mei

“Then the entire sect attempted to spread the spy scouts throughout the land to find their tracks. But some of the clues obtained did not produce anything. Until when I was picked up by my father, I also left the sect.” continued Wang Mei.

Baihu listened to Wang Mei's explanation seriously, “When I came after making it out of the cave. Shu Wei has been sitting as the head of the Sun Moon sect in place of the chairman of Shang Chi”

“True. Structurally as a vice sect head is indeed he who is entitled to become the sect head if the sect head of Shang Chi is not in line” said Wang Mei

“Sir, have you ever heard of anyone named Yi Mao, Er Mao, San Mao or Si Mao?” tanya Baihu recalled the name of the black-clothed people behind the waterfall.

Wang Mei's face scowled at the name. “Isn't that like a pseudonym? What's with that name?” Wang Mei asked Baihu.

Baihu then told about the incident inside the cave that was behind the waterfall when he heard the conversation of four people dressed in black.

Wang Mei's brows twitched hearing that. “It looks like they have infiltrated their people in every major sect. It really has been carefully planned by them” murmured with a serious face

“Sister Wang, I actually came to Peaches city with a disciple from the Sky Sword sect. They found hints of the appearance of items belonging to their sect in this city” Baihu said.

Wang Mei's face looked at Baihu seriously, “What stuff did they find?” ask Wang Mei

“I don't know for sure about that stuff. Yang Zi and Xin Ye were investigating about the item” Baihu said again

“Yang Zi?” wang Mei's face changed upon hearing Yang Zi's name. I don't know why his chest felt tight when he heard that name. He recalled the incident when he heard that Baihu had been betrothed since childhood to Yang Zi by their parents.

“Ah..” Wang Mei sighed. He turned his face the other way to hide the change in his face from Baihu.

“Young noona!” suddenly a servant from the Wang family came hastily to them.

Wang Mei and Baihu turned their heads towards the waiter. “What's up?” ask Wang Mei to her

“Nona, your father asked me to call you as soon as possible” said the waiter with a tired face and a bad breath.

“What has happened?” Wang Mei looked worried.

The waiter set his breath to calm himself down,” I don't know miss. But the master asked all the servants to find and call the lady to see tuan”

Wang Mei looked at Baihu, “I should be right back. Would you like to go with me?” ask Wang Mei to her

“I have to see miss Yang and miss Xin first to make sure the sect stuff” Baihu said.

Hearing that, Wang Mei could only sigh. “Alright, we continue later the conversation about it” said while going to follow the waiter to see his father.

Baihu looked at Wang Mei's departure, then went towards the inn where she had promised to meet Yang Zi and Xin Ye. After almost 2 hours of touring, he finally managed to find the inn.

Then Baihu looked for Yang Zi inside her quiet-looking room. After knocking on the door, he waited outside the room. But there was no answer or anything from inside the room.

Baihu then ventured to open the room, and saw that it was empty. “Where is Miss Yang?” muttered. Baihu then looked for Miss Xin's room and when she opened it she only saw an empty room.

“Have they gone?” Baihu furrowed his brows thinking about that possibility. “They must have been waiting for me last night. Since I didn't show up, maybe they've gone” he murmured inwardly.
