CHAPTER 8 | Yang Zi of the Sky Sword sect

Baihu rushed into the food stall and sat down and ordered the food there. He was enjoying a meal he had never tasted for a long time. Ever since his Master died, Baihu had only eaten fruits around his Master's house.

When Baihu was eating his food, it appeared that two women dressed in swordsmen came to order food at the food stall carrying two swords in their hands.

The two women sat down next to Baihu and ordered her food.

“Servants, give us two bowls of noodles with chicken meat” shouted a woman in green.

Baihu glanced towards the two women who looked older than him, yet she did not care about it. Baihu still continued to enjoy the food leisurely.

“Nona Yang, you've been looking for the boy for 3 years while the boy disappeared for 7 years. Are you sure he's alive?” ask the woman in green.

The lady in white who was called Miss Yang was speechless not answering the words of the lady in green. An 8-year-old boy who disappeared 7 years ago is certainly difficult to determine his death.

“Sister Xin, I don't know him very well. I was just told to find her by my father.” said the Miss Yang.

The woman in white was Yang Zi, the son of a small royal general in the southern region of Wuxia city which is now controlled by the South Sea Coastal Kingdom. While the woman in green clothes called Brother Xin was Xin Ye, Yang Zi's older brother. They were from the Heaven Sword Sect.

“I only met him once when my father took me to go see the boy's family and talk about our matchmaking” continued Yang Zi.

Xin Ye looked amusedly smiling at the words of Yang Zi, “Nona Yang, you were 11 years old when the boy was 8 years old and you were betrothed to husband and wife by your parents” Xin Ye couldn't help but laugh in amusement.

“Kakak Xin don't tease me. I myself refuse this match. I don't want to marry a man I don't know, let alone he's much younger than me” Yang Zi scowled.

“Iya... Yes, but why would you go to look for him?” xin Ye asked not understanding

Yang Zi then sighed, “I looked for him because this was the last request from my father before he died. She asked me to promise to find and marry her” said Yang Zi lowered her head.

Doing the old man's last request let alone by promising, made Yang Zi unwillingly descend from the mountain residence of the Heaven Sword Sect to find the child.

“If the child is still alive today, of course he is around 15 years old.” Yang Zi said back

Xin Ye pondered for a while then sighed, “Ah... I can't think my stomach is hungry. The waiter! please hurry a little. We've been starving” he shouted.

“Good. Food is coming soon!” sahut the waiter while bringing noodle food with chicken meat according to his order.

“Nona Yang, we should search for the child first delay. The entire sect disciples were summoned by the sect head in preparation for the acceptance of the new sect disciple this year” Xin Ye said to Yang Zi.

Yang Zi's face froze hearing the word acceptance of the sect's new disciple. He recalled the time he was first invited by his father to study in the Heaven Sword Sect. Yang Zi was then entrusted to his Master Wang Lei, to train himself.

Seeing Yang Zi's face that was still frozen, Xin Ye again teased him, “You must have remembered the time you first entered the Sky” Sword sect

Yang Zi's face turned red because of it, his age when he entered the Heaven Sword Sect was around 12 years old, precisely a few months after his departure with his father to meet the family of the man who became his match.

“You must have liked big brother Gong Jun” seductive Xin Ye back and made Yang Zi's face turn red

“Who said that? Brother don't spread such false news” Yang Zi scowled.

“Kakak Xin, the acceptance of new students happens every year. Why in the reception disciples this time the sect chief asked all of us to come back to the sect residence?” asked Yang Zi did not understand

“Did you forget this year was the year of the martial match at Peak Light between 3 big sects?” xin Ye Sahut

The three great sects in Wuxia city, namely the Sky Sword Sect, were, The Sacred Lotus Sect and the Moon Sun Sect had always held a martial match every 3 years between the three sects to gauge the increase in training of each of the three great sects' disciples.

“Ah, I almost forgot that” Yang Zi said with her sweet smile.

While they were eating while talking, next to the table they had Baihu finished his meal. He was about to leave the shop but was stopped by the waiter.

“Master, you have to pay first the food you ate earlier, then you can go” said the waiter.

Baihu who did not understand about the payment then replied, “I'm sorry I don't understand what you mean. What do I have to pay for food with?” asked Baihu with a plain face.

Hearing Baihu's words made the servant's eyes turn red and felt his patience being tested.

“Master, for payment could use silver or gold.” said the waiter again but this time his face implied annoyance to Baihu.

Baihu tried to remember, whether she had silver or gold to pay for the food, then she looked inside her Master's storage ring and saw many gold pieces there.

Baihu then took out a single piece of gold from within the storage ring that belonged to his Master. “Is this enough?” asked Baihu while handing the gold piece to the food stall waiter.

“This is more than enough mister” said the waiter with a wide smile on his face.

From the food payment earlier, Baihu still got a refund of the remaining money on the payment. Baihu then received the refund and intended to leave the food stall.

Baihu who was about to leave the stall suddenly stopped her steps and turned to ask the waiter.

“Sister, do you know where to go to Sun Moon sect residence?” ask Baihu.

The servant pensively heard Baihu's question, then he pointed out the direction to the mountain range where the Sun Moon sect was located.

“It turns out I did get lost in a different direction” Baihu muttered in her heart
