CHAPTER 24 | Who is saved?

Seeing the vice sect Shu Wei unleashing the maximal power of the early stage sky realm, Baihu still remained calm looking at him.

“Until when did the old man just watch it” Baihu muttered in his heart.

Suddenly from the crowd appeared an old man carrying a basket of fruit he had picked from a tree belonging to the vice sect head Shu Wei.

“This fruit turned out to be quite tasty. It is only fitting that you do not allow anyone else to pluck it” said the old man who turned out to be the Sect Chief of the Moon Sun Shang Chi while eating the fruit and walking over to the vice-chairman of the Shu Wei sect.

The eyes of sect vice-chairman Shu Wei twitched seeing the arrival of sect head Shang Chi with his basket of fruits. He stopped his strength due to the presence of the sect head in the training room.

“Chairmen sect!” the shouted disciples saluted the Sect Chief who came into the training room of the master class.

The sect head of Shang Chi stopped in front of the vice sect head Shu Wei and looked around him.

“Hmm... what's bustling in this training room” asked the head of the pretended sect with a bewildered face.

“Baihu. This fruit is for you” sect leader Shang Chi said as he threw one piece at Baihu who then caught it.

“Others, does anyone want to ask for this fruit?” ask the sect head of Shang Chi to the people in that place

Everyone in that place lowered their heads not daring to answer the question of the sect head of Shang Chi.

“Baihu, you're lucky the sect head came to save you” muttered the vice sect head Shu Wei gazing towards Baihu.

Sect chief Shang Chi who heard the words of the sect vice-chairman approached him,” I did not save him, but rather I saved you as well as the people here. If Baihu were to fight you with full force 9 Sun and Moon, not only would your life be drifting so would the people of this place” said with a sharp look at the vice sect of Shu Wei.

The face of sect vice-chairman Shu Wei turned pale hearing the words of sect head Shang Chi. He did not know the great power of the 9th step of the Sun and Moon because he rarely saw it directly used in battle.

“Did I interrupt your rehearsal?” ask the sect leader then to them. But no one dared to answer.

Sect chief Shang Chi then looked towards the people there, “I want to tell you everything. Baihu is my student. I will train him myself. He was free to live anywhere in this place. Who dares to bother him means also going against myself” sect head Shang Chi said as he looked towards the sect vice-chairman Shu Wei.

Everyone who heard the words of the sect head felt Baihu had the fortune of being trained directly by the Sun Moon sect head. The faces of sect vice-chairman Shu Wei and his grandson Shu Chao darkened at the words of the sect head before everyone. This made them in the future would no longer be able to disturb him within the sect residence.

Actually the sect head of Shang Chi just did not want Baihu to use the 9th Sun and Moon skill to destroy the Sun Moon sect because it was forced to be like today if he did not come early.

“It is better that you all disperse and return to your respective residences” sect head Shang Chi later said.

Hearing the words of sect head Shang Chi, no one dared to violate it. They instantly dispersed and returned to their respective residences and remembered this incident in their hearts. Since then Baihu's name has become the idol of several people who watched the incident.

Elder Wang Mei and Zhou An approached sect head Shang Chi and saluted him when everyone had left.

“Chairman Wang, as long as I can't teach. I assigned you to help with Baihu's training. Also prepare a place to stay for him in the deity” region sect head Shang Chi told elder Wang Mei.

Elder Wang Mei did not dare to refute the orders of the sect head Shang Chi. Although he knew his stance of losing away from Baihu, but the task of the chairman had to be carried out.

Zhou An who was relieved came to Baihu, “Baihu, you were lucky the sect master came to save you. You should thank him” Zhou An said.

“Do you not call him Teacher?” murmured Zhou An who was still meddling with his words.

Sect chief Shang Chi just smiled looking at the two of them, “Ah, Baihu is free to call me anything.” he said because he knew Baihu's teacher was Wu Shan.

“Good. Miss Zhou, I leave this fruit to you. From today, any fruit within the residence of this sect is free to be enjoyed by anyone” he continued while leaving them

The three of them bowed their heads looking at the departure of sect head Shang Chi.

“Baihu, I also have to go back to my class. See you later” shouted as he left Baihu and Elder Wang Mei.

Elder Wang Mei let out a sigh of relief as the incident quickly passed without harming anyone especially Baihu. He stared at Baihu's face which was still indifferent while eating the fruit given by the sect head of Shang Chi to him.

“This boy remains calm like he is not a child. Did he know that the sect master would definitely save him?” wang Mei muttered in her heart.

“Sister Wang, why don't you tell me about the martial match when you follow him first” Baihu said startling Wang Mei's daydream

Wang Mei did not expect Baihu would ask about the martial match he had once taken while still a Sun Moon sect disciple of her all of a sudden.

“Let's find a place to tell a story. I will tell you” Wang Mei said.

Wang Mei then took Baihu to his residence in the Gods territory to prepare a residence for Baihu there with the other sect elders. Only Baihu was the first disciple to stay in the god realm and not as a sect elder.

The territory of the gods was the area located at the far right of the Sun Moon sect residence and bordered by the residence of the Sacred Lotus sect. What constrains them is a stream coming from the top of the mountains with very clear water.

After preparing a place to stay for Baihu, Wang Mei then took her to a park behind the divine realm which was very beautiful and close to the river flow. In the park there is a small pavilion with benches and tables for people to rest and enjoy the beauty of the park.
