BAIHU (White Tiger Warrior): Challenging the Dragon

BAIHU (White Tiger Warrior): Challenging the Dragon
CHAPTER 51 | Separated

While on board the yacht, Baihu immediately looked for where the people were keeping the items. From the top of the deck of the ship, Baihu then went down into the hull which is the widest part commonly used for the residence of ship workers and also a place to store valuables.

“Who is the owner of this ship?” baihu muttered in his heart

Then in one of the rooms Baihu listened to the conversation inside and stopped to listen while hiding in a place that was quite blocked from people's sight in passing.

“Has the goods been raised?” ask someone in the room.

“Already. All are already in this ship” said the other person.

“The chairman ordered us to investigate about the sword. Why did the sword come out of storage? Who's so stupid to do that?” ask another one

“A-I don't know about it. I'm only in charge of sending things,” said another person with a stutter.

“Si Mao, stop. We have to go to that base to investigate. We should punish that fool” said another one.

They came out of the room and went to their respective destinations.

“Si Mao?” Baihu was stunned to hear the name and it seemed like she had heard of it.

His eyes immediately glared when he realized that Si Mao's name was one of the names he had heard in the cave behind the waterfall.

“I have to follow them. Maybe I can find a clue about sect head” muttered Baihu who then slipped into the other room on the hull of the ship.

Inside the hull he slipped back carefully to look at each room there. Then he arrived at a large enough area that stored the items that would be delivered using the ship.

Finally he found a cage that had been covered back by a cloth in the middle of the room that was quite spacious. He then opened the cage and his eyes twitched seeing some women in the cage.

The women's faces were shocked and looked frightened as Baihu opened the cloth. Baihu looked around the cage and saw that the women seemed to have been subjected to some torture before being put on board.

In the corner of the cage his eyes widened to see Xin Ye curled up with a sad face. Baihu then walked up to him from outside the confinement “Kak Xin Ye” whispered Baihu slowly

Xin Ye was stunned to hear her name being called by Baihu. He then looked towards her and the look in his eyes seemed to glow after meeting Baihu. “Bai-hu” said he almost shouted but Baihu immediately closed his mouth to stop Xin Ye from shouting.

“Sstt..., don't shout big brother”.

The other woman also no one dared to shout because she did not know whether Baihu was an opponent or a comrade.

Baihu felt sad to see Xin Ye in that cage. He saw that the cage was made of solid iron and was difficult to break without causing a commotion.

“Silver, patience. I will follow you and save you” Baihu said.

Xin Ye looked at Baihu expectantly, she held Baihu's hand, “Baihu, please” she said softly

“Sister, where is Miss Yang Zi? What has happened?” ask Baihu.

“Then, we were ambushed by some people who had high strength. We were defeated and arrested. I was unconscious, then when I realized I was in confinement and brought here” said with a sad face.

“Then Miss Yang Zi?” tanya Baihu returned

“Before fainting, I saw him also caught. After that I do not know his fate anymore” Xin Ye said softly shed her tears.

Baihu's face was stunned listening to the explanation from Xin Ye, she looked around the cage. “Please brother. I'll come back and save you. I promise” said Baihu with a dark face.

“Baihu, save miss Yang” Xin Ye said back.

Baihu simply nodded her head at Xin Ye's request, she then re-covered the cage with a cloth so as not to arouse suspicion from the people on the ship.

Just as Baihu was about to leave the place, she sensed that the ship had moved, “Has this ship already sailed? Ah, shit...” murmured back. Baihu sneaked out to get back out of the hull and headed for the deck of the ship secretly.

It was late at night, fortunately it was already dark outside. The port city of Persik is already visible far from the middle of the river. Baihu just sighed. He was forced to follow the ship sailing towards their destination.

Meanwhile, the night has come down. Wang Mei had just finished her family meeting asking Wang Mei to immediately approve the proposal from the Crown Prince and marry him. Yet Wang Mei was just speechless, she did not give them any answers.

“Ah, it is up to you just” complains Wang Shui grandmother of Wang Mei who is eager to become a Western Desert royal family.

“The life of the Wang family lies in your decision.” continued Wang Shui's grandmother with a cold face.

The words were like a hammer hitting Wang Mei's head, yet she still did not open her voice to make a decision.

Wang Huo and his wife realized what Wang Mei had in mind. They made whatever decisions their children made. But now the pressure from their extended family makes the situation runyam back.

Finally after not getting an answer from Wang Mei who was just speechless, they left the Wang family's residence in the town of Persik but warned of the consequences the Wang family would face if Wang Mei rejected the proposal.

Wang Mei did not listen to any of their words. He already knew it, he was not a child like Baihu.

“Ah... Baihu.” Wang Mei was aghast. His body shivered trembling as he remembered the promise to meet Baihu at the river port.

He immediately ran towards the port to meet him at the corner of the harbor where they had promised yesterday. But he did not find Baihu there. His eyes looked around him to look for the figure of the boy who had made his heart skip a beat.

“I'm sorry Baihu is late. Where are you?” he muttered with an anxious face and began to shed his tears.

He only saw a sailing ship that had left in the middle of the river without knowing Baihu was on board.

The river is wide, though, so the visibility from the ship in the middle of the river to the port was quite far and the day had also started to dark so Baihu could not see the figure of Wang Mei in the corner of the port.

“Sister Wang, take good care of yourself. Maybe we will meet again on the opposite side later” muttered Baihu in his heart thinking about the possibility of Wang Mei marrying the Crown Prince of the Western Desert kingdom.
