CHAPTER 41 | Book of the Nine Universes

“AAARRGHH”

Baihu grew louder and louder until the Wisdom Cave shook, but the three great statues of the founding figures of the three sects did not waver in the slightest. This made Baihu wake up and investigate around the statue, but he did not find anything strange.

With a limp Baihu sat back in front of the statue. He felt sad in his heart to be confined within this Cave of Wisdom. “This is because of my own greed that wants to get something from this place” muttered Baihu sadly

He knelt before the three statues, “Maha Sect Master, I apologize to you. I'm too greedy to get anything out of this place. I'm sorry” yelled as he prostrated his head three times to the floor.

Suddenly there was a sound that shook the cave, Baihu was surprised to see the three statues spinning in the opposite direction. Then came the writing slowly behind the three statues.

“Book of the Nine Universe?” baihu shouted stunned reading the writing.

In the writing it is mentioned when it has mastered the peak style of the Sword Sukma, or the peak style of the Sun and Moon and the peak style of the Buddha Lotus. So the three styles are the basis for continuing to learn the nine universes

Baihu's eyes sparkled at the Book of the Nine Universes, there were three moves on the left, three in the middle and three on the right. So there are a total of 9 Steps from the Nine Universes.

The Supreme Teachers of the time often exchanged styles and knowledge so they managed to create a new style that combines their three top styles. This made Baihu become excited to learn it.

“This move is divided into 3 parts, which are 3 ways to train physical strength, 3 ways to train spiritual strength and 3 last steps to train mind power” Baihu read the instructions from the book of the Nine Universes.

Baihu then began to study the nine moves one by one in the Wisdom Cave.

“The first three physical strength training moves are Golden Body Defense Steps” Baihu started reading and training. Within a week he was finally able to understand the movement. Baihu felt his body become stronger than before after training the skill.

“Second steps of the Sun Fire Kick, train the attack using the foot as a weapon” Baihu then read seriously and train the second skill.

Another week passed for Baihu to learn the second skill. Then he read the third style “Third step of the Sakti Palm, using the power of the hand to attack and defend” Baihu read it.

A week back Baihu managed to understand the third skill. Then Baihu repeated the three moves one by one until he could master them well.

It did not feel like a month later Baihu had been inside the Cave of Wisdom, he did not know what was happening outside the cave.

“Baihu, are you okay there?” wang Mei muttered on the cliff behind the sect gazing towards the Wisdom Cave with an anxious face.

The sect heads had not been found yet, the nine great sects were still in a state of mourning for the loss of their respective sect heads. They closed themselves off from the outside world to be able to focus on finding the whereabouts of their sect masters.

With the disappearance of the Sun Moon sect head, Wang Mei had been picked up by her father Wang Huo to return to their residence in the Peaches city of the Western Desert Kingdom region. Before returning to his parents' residence Wang Mei had written a letter to Baihu that was placed in his room.

Although it was heavy-hearted that Wang Mei thought of Baihu being confined within the Wisdom Cave, Wang Mei could not resist her father's request to return. After all the current head of the Sun Moon sect was unknown to his whereabouts.

Back in the Cave of Wisdom, Baihu had mastered all three techniques of training the physical body in the two months since he had been confined within the cave. In the back room, Baihu found a water source dripping on the sidelines of the rocks to quench his thirst.

“My strength feels increased after mastering these three physical strength styles” muttered Baihu felt his body more fit and powerful despite not eating for two months.

But with the power of his cultivation in the God Realm, Baihu was able to endure hunger and awaken the energy in his body to train.

“Fourth step Awakening Spirit” Baihu Raga read the moves and instructions. Baihu channeled the energy in his body according to the instructions of the skill and trained it. Within 10 days he could master the fourth style.

“Fifth move Processing Spirit” Baihu Raga managed to master it within 8 days. Then he continued on to the sixth tier of the True Spirit Raga. Baihu took longer to train this sixth style. But he was finally able to master it within 16 days.

About three months passed, Baihu had trained in the mastery of the 6 moves of the Book of the Nine Universes. Now is the time to train the last 3 moves on the power of the mind.

“Self Mastery, Spirit Mastery, True Power” three mind power moves that are very difficult for Baihu to master. Indeed, to master the power of the mind requires training that is not easy even though the instructions have been written.

It took 3 months for each of the moves to be mastered by Baihu, so it was not felt that he had mastered the Nine Universe Steps within a year.

After mastering the Nine Universes' style, Baihu easily trained his cultivation and broke through the Sky realm. The current strength of Baihu who was 16 years old was already at the early stage Sky realm.

Baihu was delighted to have the luck of training his new skill. But he was still grim because he had not found a way to get out of the place.

“I've mastered the Nine Universes. But I have not yet found a way to get out of this place.” Baihu muttered.

He then looked at the three statues that were on his back, he intended to restore the position of the statue to its original place. But he couldn't move it.

“This statue is so powerful, why can't I move it with the power of the Sky realm?” Baihu was puzzled that even the power of the sky realm was unable to move the statue.

Baihu then thought of trying to use the power of his mind, the 9th Nine Universes move he deployed. The statue is then easily moved by it one by one back to its original place.

This time there was a resounding vibration inside the cave, suddenly a light appeared from the ceiling above the statue. Baihu looked towards that emerging light source. His lips smiled at the sight of a hole far enough above the statue's head.

“Finally I was able to get out of the cave through that hole” muttered happily.

Baihu then knelt before the statue and saluted the three statues as his gratitude. Then he jumped up and flew out of the cave. When he was outside, the hole closed again.
