BAIHU (White Tiger Warrior): Challenging the Dragon
CHAPTER 72 | Humiliated again

Zhou An lowered his head, he did not care about the other family's talk. They would not understand the feelings that Zhou An himself felt. They only cared that the power of the kingdom would grow stronger by establishing relations with the Western Desert kingdom.

Zhou An felt like crying because of it, he did not like himself being born in the royal family and had to be arranged like that.

“An’er, tomorrow the Western Desert royal family will come here. Crown Prince Zhang Mou himself who came to accompany his younger brother Zhang Ji for the purpose of proposing to you,” said his father back.

Like being struck by lightning, the two royal families decided for themselves his fate to marry Zhang Ji, the man he disliked so much for being too arrogant in the Sun Moon sect.

“Dad, Mother. I really don't like Zhang Ji. I have liked others,” Zhou An said as he left the royal hall

“An’er!” his father shouted, but Zhou An did not care. Her tears were almost dripping and she did not want her parents to see her weakness.

Zhou An returned to his room with a sad heart, he locked himself in the room. Her heart really felt sore because of the compulsion from their family to marry Zhang Ji.

Wang Mei and Baihu who had been waiting for a long time felt bad because Zhou An did not return. “Nona, where is Princess Zhou An?” wang Mei asked a royal servant.

“Oh, after meeting His Majesty, the Princess then locked herself in a room,” said the royal servant.

“What's with him?” Wang Mei was stunned to hear the reply from the royal servant.

Wang Mei and Baihu felt uneasy continuing to stay longer in that royal palace. They decided to leave the palace.

“Nona, please tell the Princess that we are leaving. Thank you for this banquet,” order Wang May.

They left the royal palace while the servant told Princess Zhou An. Hearing that Princess Zhou An regained consciousness. He forgot that he was taking them to the royal palace. Zhou An then rushed out of the room to meet them.

Seeing Wang Mei and Baihu together with the tiger Sunu walking in the middle of the city after exiting the royal palace, Zhou An immediately called out to him. “Teacher, Baihu. Wait!,” he shouted.

Wang Mei and Baihu turned their heads towards Zhou An's arrival. Zhou An's face looks swollen from crying marks.

“Teacher, Baihu. Ii'm sorry. I forgot you guys,” he said with a grim face.

“It's okay Miss Zhou. We will indeed continue our journey,” said Wang Mei while smiling at him.

“Teacher, take me with you,” pinta Zhou An with a sad face while lowering his head.

Wang Mei and Baihu felt that something was wrong with Zhou An. She had looked very jovial and joyful, but after being summoned by her father she turned grim and sad.

“What's Miss Zhou?” Ask Wang Mei back.

“I-I don't want to marry Zhang Ji,” he said as he buried his face in Wang Mei's chest sobbing.

Wang Mei was stunned. He understood Zhou An's feelings because he also experienced the same thing as himself.

Wang Mei then took Zhou An to find a seat to tell a story while Baihu appeared to play with the Sunu tiger.

Zhou An then tells about his engagement which was done unilaterally without his consent and intends to marry him to Zhang Ji, Zhang Mou's younger brother from the Western Desert kingdom. And said that tomorrow they would come to propose to her.

Wang Mei was surprised to hear that, Zhang Mou proposed to her while his younger brother Zhang Ji proposed to Zhou An. What a coincidence he thought.

“I don't like Zhang Ji because I have liked others,” Zhou An said as he looked towards Baihu.

Baihu who saw herself being stared at by the two women just smiled at them, then returned to play with Sunu.

“Ah, Baihu. Why do all women like you?” Wang Mei's head became dizzy thinking about that.

Thinking about it made Wang Mei feel claustrophobic, “Adding one more rival of mine.”

Baihu who was playing with Sunu suddenly felt cold nape and her eyebrows twitched. “Any, is anyone talking about me?” muttered.

“Teacher, I know teacher certainly intends to go to the Sun Moon sect residence with Baihu. Can I come with you?” ask her with a hopeful face.

As a woman who liked Baihu, Wang Mei naturally did not want any other woman to be near the person she liked. But as a teacher who was also the same fate as him in terms of matchmaking, he could not bear to see the sadness of his student.

“Good. We will indeed go to the Sun Moon sect. You can come with us to meet with the sect head of Shang Chi,” Wang Mei said with a sigh.

“Thank you Master. Wait here for a moment, I will be back soon,” said Zhou An who then rushed back to the royal palace to write a message and left it in his room.

“Sister Wang, what's wrong with Ms Zhou An?” Baihu asked Wang Mei.

Wang Mei snorted at Baihu's question. “Just ask yourself,” said Wang Mei sewot left him.

“Any. Why should I ask myself?” Baihu really did not understand.

A few minutes later, Zhou An had prepared to depart with Wang Mei and Baihu to return to the Sun Moon sect residence. They went on their way north to the capital of the South Sea Coast kingdom.

The next day, the South Sea Coast Kingdom palace was in an uproar over a letter left by Zhou An inside the room saying that he had returned to the Sun Moon sect residence with his teachers Wang Mei and Baihu.

The eyes of the South Sea Coastal King and his wife twitched reading the letter from his son. “Basin the spoiled child,” cried the King with his regret.

“Your Highness, Crown Prince Zhang Mou and prince Zhang Ji have arrived with the entourage.” A guard reported it to the South Sea Coastal King.

“Ah, How to now King?” Asked his wife beside the king anxiously.

“I was also at a loss to answer that,” The King sighed trying to calm himself from the anger at his son.

The South Sea Coastal King along with his wife and royal family immediately met the Crown Prince and prince Zhang Ji in the royal hall.

“Your Majesty, where is Princess Zhou An?” zhang Ji asked as he did not see the presence of the person he liked.

The South Sea Coastal King then gave a letter from Zhou An to Zhang Ji, he sighed. “I can't properly educate my son. I spoiled him too much,” said the King slowly.

Zhang Ji trembled to read the letter written by Zhou An. His eyes bulged and his face became red. Zhang Mou who saw the change in his sister's face immediately took the letter and read it.

Zhang Mou's face turned as dark as his younger brother's after reading a letter from Zhou An written to his father.

“Caihu!” they both muttered almost simultaneously.

Without saying a word, Zhang Mou said his farewell and left the South Sea Coast royal palace with his younger brother Zhang Ji. This time they were really angry because of this.

They felt humiliated twice by Baihu. They then ordered their men to chase north and captured Baihu and the two women they loved.

“Sun Yang, call the two messengers left and right to come see me,” Zhang Mou orders on Sun Yang.

Zhang Mou set up camp outside the capital of the South Sea Coast kingdom to wait for the arrival of the person he called.
