CHAPTER 128 | Return of the Northern Snow kingdom territory

After resolving the issue of empress Pang Niu, Baihu returned to the royal capital and held a meeting with the generals and Wudang sect in the North Snow royal hall.

Suddenly everyone in the Northern Snow kingdom knelt in front of Baihu including the Wudang sect head. “Your Majesty, please be willing to be king of the kingdom of North Snow.”

All who were kneeling in the hall were unisoned loudly asking Baihu to be their king. Baihu was surprised not to think they would decide such a unilateral thing.

“Friends, stand up all. I hope we speak well first.” Baihu said to all of them. Yet all those people were reluctant to stand up before Baihu accepted their decision.

“Friends all, I along with the Fire Bird sect have saved the royal family. The empress and the crown prince are being escorted by them heading eastward.” Baihu said next.

The entire person in the room stared at Baihu in disbelief at what they heard. But seeing Baihu's earnest face they did not doubt it. But they were still kneeling waiting for the next words from Baihu.

“Begin only. Send someone to pick up the empress and the crown prince. We just talked about this again. Does anyone know where they were taken?” baihu said later.

Everyone looked at each other thinking about Baihu's question. “Your Highness, as far as I know the royal family has a cousin in the city of LamShang named general Yang Jun.”

“True, maybe they were taken there. Because the city of LamShang did not fall into the hands of the nation of Buke.”

Baihu then asked them all to stand up and decide about the Northern Snow kingdom after the arrival of the empress and the crown prince. Then he advised someone to go to LamShang city to pick up the royal family.

“For the Buke nation kingdom, we should clear the entire city from the Buke nation army to the west. After that strengthen the defense on the western border to hold the King of the Buke back here.” said Baihu

All the generals and people of the Wudang sect agreed to Baihu's plan. “The sooner, the better before they return to our region.”

That night the forces of the capital of the Northern Snow kingdom moved westward. Baihu had also sent a letter to General Gong Jun in the border town of Beidu to help the Northern Snow kingdom survive on the western border.

General Gong Jun immediately moved as soon as he received an order from King Baihu to head for the city of Linshang which is the border city of the Northern Snow kingdom with the western outer region.

The Western Desert kingdom army led by general Gong Jun easily conquered the city of Linshang that had been controlled by the previous Buke nation. Then General Gong Jun flew the Western Desert royal flag over the fortress of Linshang city along with the Northern Snow royal flag. This shows that the city of Linshang has now been supported by the Western Desert kingdom.

Meanwhile the troops from the direction of the capital of the Northern Snow kingdom had fought in every city that had been controlled by the forces of the Buke nation and won it easily. This is because the Buke nation divides its power in several cities, so that the strength of the troops guarding each city becomes weak and easy to retake.

In addition, King Mao Da who returned to the western outer region aims to invite and mobilize the entire nation of Buke to go to the Northern Snow kingdom with the intention of strengthening their defense in the Northern Snow kingdom.

Finally the entire region of the Northern Snow kingdom had returned to the Northern Snow kingdom's side. And now they have concentrated the power in the city of Linshang to survive the attack of the Buke nation kingdom.

Baihu then held a meeting in the city of Linshang with the generals of the Northern Snow kingdom, the head of the Wudang sect as well as the general Gong Jun who came from the Western Desert kingdom.

“Your Majesty!” Back everyone greeted Baihu with a salute to her.

“Your Majesty, King Mao Da's strength is very high. We are worried that only His Majesty can deal with it. We are really troublesome Your Majesty.” said one of the generals while kneeling in salute to Baihu.

All the generals of the Northern Snow kingdom kneeled to Baihu begging for his help to face King Mao Da. Baihu understood what they wanted. Baihu himself had faced King Mao Da and his strength ended in a draw.

Meanwhile Baihu did not see someone who could keep up with King Mao Da in the Northern Snow kingdom. As if to sigh, “Alright. I'll help the Northern Snow kingdom to its fullest.”

“Thank you Your Majesty!” shouted the generals of the Northern Snow kingdom with joyful faces while prostrating on Baihu.

“After winning this war, I will return to my kingdom. I leave it to all of you to solve the internal problems of the Northern Snow kingdom.”

Hearing Baihu's words, everyone inside the hall room fell silent. Although in their hearts they wished Baihu could become their King, yet they did not dare to burden Baihu with too much trouble. So they were silent for a while.

The sect head of Wudang then walked over to Baihu. “Your Majesty, can I speak to you four-eyes?”

The entire general in the room then bid farewell to their respective posts after the Wudang sect leader intended to talk to Baihu.

“Please sect head,” Baihu said with a smile

The Wudang sect leader then invited Baihu to speak at the side of the city leader's residence which is a pretty beautiful park accompanied by a large fish pond.

The two of them then headed to a gazebo and sat facing each other to speak a very important matter.

“Speak sect leader. Don't hesitate with me,” Baihu said.

“Your Majesty, we understand that His Majesty does not wish to become the king of the Northern Snow kingdom, yet we all believe in you very much. In the past King Yang Kui could not rule the Northern Snow kingdom so well that we were scattered and easily conquered by the nation kingdom of Buke.”

The sect master paused his words for a while before continuing after taking his breath.

“Today we have reunited thanks to you. We all hope the kingdom of North Snow will be part of the kingdom of the Western Desert.” continued the sect head of Wudang.

“Rethink Your Majesty. The Crown Prince of the Northern Snow kingdom was only 13 years old and empress Tang Liu did not have the ability to lead the kingdom. I'm afraid the kingdom of North Snow will again be destroyed after your departure.”

Baihu frowned as he lowered his head contemplating the words of the sect head of Wudang. He did not expect that the Crown Prince of the Northern Snow kingdom was still a very small 13-year-old.
