Chapter 4 Fear of Ayana

"Dad! Baby, why?" rafael asked in a panic.

"Sa-kiiit..," cried Ayana who was grimacing in pain.

Rafael immediately pressed the button next to the patient's bed to call the nurses and doctors. With panic Rafael repeatedly pressed the button so that it is clear the panic that is being felt at this time.

In just a few moments the doctor and nurse came to the room.

"What's up, sir? Did something happen to Dr. Ayana?" ask the doctor Sani who hastily came along with his nurse.

"My wife's stomach hurts again doc" replied Rafael in a panic.

Doctor Sani sighed when he saw Ayana who was grimacing in pain. He immediately checked Ayana's condition using a stethoscope and switched to using the USG that was already available in the room.

Doctor Sani kept his stethoscope and said,

"The baby's condition is fine."

Then he turned to look at Rafael and said,

"Is doctor Ayana in the same state as we talked about, sir?"

"So once my wife woke up, she freaked out doc. We talked about it and after that he complained of pain in his stomach" Rafael said with a sigh.

Doctor Sani again sighed. He looked towards Ayana who had calmed back down.

The pain has subsided. Now Ayana rubbed her stomach very gently and full of affection. Unknowingly her tears dripped down her cheeks.

"Preferably avoid talking about it. If those feelings of fear, stress and distress come back, it will be like this again. If too often it will be dangerous for the baby," Sani told Rafael, who was sitting next to Ayana and was embracing his wife's shoulders while looking at Sani's doctor.

Rafael nodded his head in response to Sani's doctor telling him, saying,

"Okay doc, I'll do it according to the advice the doctor gave."

After that the doctor Sani and the nurse who came with him came out of the room.

When they got out of the elevator, they met the mother and father of Rafael. Doctor Sani smiled at them and greeted him.

"Mr, Mama. Are you going to see Dr Ayana?"

"Right doc, is my daughter-in-law's room on the next floor?" ask Rania, mama of Rafael.

"Let's go, sir, I'll take you" replied Sani's doctor as he let Rania and Antonio into the elevator.

Doctor Sani escorted them to the front room of Ayana's hospital located on the VVIP floor with extra tight security and luxurious facilities from the hospital.

"This is Dr. Ayana's room. I'll excuse you first" said doctor Sani, lowering his head slightly as a salute.

"Thank you doc," said Rani accompanied by a smile to doctor Sani.

Doctor Sani left the place after saying goodbye to them.

Slowly Rania opened the door of the hospital room that the doctor showed her. With careful steps Rania and Antonio walked into the room. They were afraid that her footsteps would disturb Ayana who was resting.

Ayana and Rafael are lying in the same bed. Ayana looks comfortable in Rafael's arms. The hands of the two of them rubbed Ayana's stomach and smiled when they felt the movement of the baby in her stomach.

Rania and Antonio stopped their steps. The two of them smiled at what their son and daughter-in-law were doing.

Feeling that someone was watching them, Rafael turned towards the door. Her lips curled upwards when she saw her mother and father standing watching them. He also said,

"Ma, Pa, why are you standing there?"

Ayana followed the direction of her husband. He smiled at his mother and father-in-law.

Rania, the mother-in-law who loved her daughter-in-law, immediately approached Ayana and hugged her.

"Calm down, honey. Do not let this happen and your fear can cause bad things for your baby. Ayana take it easy, we'll all take care of you and we'll make sure that no one can hurt your daughter-in-law and granddaughter," said Rania while gently rubbing the back of Ayana who was in her arms.

Without realizing it, Ayana's tears had dripped. Looks like her pregnancy hormones make Ayana so whiny and more tasteful.

"Oh, don't be sad. Everything was handled by Rafael. Ayana should not cry, because the baby in the womb Ayana can feel it. We will all be very sad. Especially your husband, Rafael. Just this time Papa and Mama saw our hero is letting out his tears" said Antonio when he was near Rafael.

"Great you Ayana can make a Rafael shed his tears" Rania joked.

Candaan Rania was able to make Ayana chuckle. He really didn't feel lonely at the moment. Rafael's family loved him very much. And Ayana felt that.

I don't feel like time has passed. They spend time with their chat about the condition of the baby in Ayana's womb and they tell about Rafael's childhood which makes them laugh together.

Without feeling the time pass. Antonio looked at the clock on his wrist. Then he said,

"Ma, looks like we should go home. Ayana should rest now."

Rania moved from her seat. He hugged his daughter-in-law's body and kissed her cheeks. Then he said,

"Don't think about anything else but your health and your baby's."

Ayana nodded her head while saying,

"Good Ma."

"Darling, I talked to Papa for a second. Just at the door" said Rafael to ask permission from his wife.

Ayana nodded her head to agree to her husband's request. And he said, too,

"Don't take it long."

"Yes dear," said Rafael, rubbing his wife's cheek gently.

Raphael helps Ayana lie down and covers her before leaving her. Feeling very sleepy, Ayana closed her eyes.

"You don't worry, Papa will take care of everything" Antonio told Rafael, who was driving him to the door.

"Pa, actually Ayana said if there was a canned letter that threatened her and the baby in her womb before the terror of throwing the glass window began," Rafael said with his breath.

Antonio and Rania are flabbergasted. They never thought that Rafael and Ayana would experience such a thing because they had no enemies.

"Then, does the letter still exist?" asked Antonio enthusiastically.

"Rafael's men are still investigating him, too. Hopefully they can quickly uncover who did it and what the motive of this action is," Rafael responded to his papa.

"Yes already. Mom and Dad go home first. Take good care of your wife. Don't leave her alone" Rania said, rubbing her son's shoulder.

Rafael nodded his head and smiled at his mother before he walked towards the elevator not far from Ayana's room.

After his mom and dad walked up to the elevator, Rafael's phone in his pocket shook.

He took the phone from his pocket and immediately picked up the phone call.

"Hello" said Rafael to the caller.

Sir I have found out who did the terror in your house, said a man from across the street.

Then Raphael's eyes fell open and he said,

"Who?"
