Chapter 14 The Scout

The person who infiltrated Ayana's parents' house and staked out Ayana's movements and Rafael felt very upset and angry at the romance of the two of them.

"Relax, there I am" whispered Rafael in his wife's ear.

Rafael moved from his seat intending to check in the kitchen, where the voice had come from.

However, Ayana pulled her hand. He stops Rafael from leaving him alone.

"Don't Raf," said Ayana softly with teary eyes while shaking her head.

"Just a moment, yes" Rafael said with a smile and held Ayana's hand to reassure her.

"But Raf... I'm afraid,." said Ayana back as if not let her husband leave her.

Raphael could not leave his own wife in fear. He paused his intention to find out where the voice came from.

Since the terror incident, Rafael has always been on the lookout for anything. And she did not dare to leave Ayana alone without anyone by her side.

Raphael took his wife's body into his arms. He hugged his wife tightly and rubbed her back to calm her down.

However, Rafael's eyes kept finding out what was happening in the place he suspected. Raphael immediately took his wife into his room.

"Darling, I went to the bathroom first. You're just here. I'm just a moment away" Rafael told his wife.

"Raf..," Ayana called to stop Rafael's footsteps, who was about to open the door.

Raphael turned to his wife. He smiled and said,

"Don't worry, just for a second."

Ayana nodded her head and said softly with a face that looked very anxious, she said,

"Be careful Raf."

Rafael smiled and nodded his head. After that he slowly walked out of the room, sneaking around so that no one would hear his footsteps.

I'm sure something's wrong. And it is highly unlikely that Papa's men would do such a thing, Rafael said in his heart.

With great care Rafael headed for the kitchen. His hands clenched when he found broken plates on the floor and there was no one there.

His eyes kept combing around him. And there was nothing suspicious of him.

Damnit damnit! Who exactly did this? Rafael said in his heart with a murderous look that seemed to be searching for its prey.

Feeling nothing, Rafael immediately picked up the phone in his pants pocket. He sent a message to the person his father assigned to look after them.

After he confirmed once again that there was nothing suspicious there, he went back inside the room to see his wife.

Rafael smiled at his wife behind his anxious face. Slowly he approached his wife and extended his hand saying,

Ayanas eyes sparkled. He forgot the important thing he wanted to do when he was at his parents' house.

Ayana welcomed Rafael's hand and moved from her seat. Raphael's hands curled around his wife's waist and led her out of the house.

The beach breeze that blew this afternoon made the couple very happy. They feel a joy they do not want to forget.

Rafael's eyes were always on guard even though his lips were smiling as if nothing had happened. As planned, he lured the person who was scouting earlier to follow him to a more free place.

Only on this beach is the only place that can catch the scouts. He tries to lure her to follow them until Antonio's men can catch her.

He tried to be as relaxed as possible even though he was on the lookout for his wife not to feel suspicious.

"It's so good Raf," said Ayana while leaning her back on Rafael's chest.

"Very beautiful. Just like you are always beautiful to me," said Rafael who smiled to see the beautiful natural scenery presented before him.

Ayana smiled shyly. She took her husband's hand that was on her stomach and kissed him with a lot of feeling.

Ayana's feelings can be felt by Rafael. He kissed his wife's cheek tenderly and lovingly.

However, Rafael's lips were now moving to another place. The lips landed on the lips of his wife who always teased him. Ayana did not refuse either. They dissolved in the atmosphere, so that the kiss was reciprocated to make the person who saw it very envious of them.

Ayana smiled and nodded her head. Then he said,

Rafael smiled and gently rubbed his wife's hair. He hugged his wife tightly so as not to feel the cold wind at that moment. For them at this time, their journey from the beach to Ayana's parents' house became a beautiful memory for both of them. Especially with the baby in the womb.

When they reached the house of Ayana's parents, their eyes caught the object on the porch of the house.

"Rafa, what is it? Why is there a box there? The feeling was not there if we go to the beach," asked Ayana while pointing to the large box on the terrace of Ayana's house.

"Try asking Mom. Perhaps I know," replied Rafael while walking with Ayana approaching the box.

"Mothers... Who's this box on the porch?!" ayana exclaimed to her mother who was inside the house.

"Box? I don't know if there's a box on the porch. Let's see" said Anisa's mother as she walked from inside her house.
