Chapter 39 Abduction

Ruby immediately opened the door of her room and turned to her right and left. Feeling safe, he immediately ran by holding his stomach which still hurts if moved.

Like a thief, he always hides when there are nurses or doctors in the hallway. He immediately ran after there was no one in the hallway.

Ruby's goal is the NICU space. Arriving in the room, Ruby felt the goddess fortuna was on her side for now. The room no one was guarding. There was no nurse in the room.

Without hesitation Ruby immediately entered the room. Her lips curled upwards when she saw a tiny baby in the incubator.

Poor you. Your mother should have felt this pain, not you. Unfortunately your mother took refuge in the VVIP room so she felt safe and comfortable there. And now you have to take her place, Ruby said in her heart while grinning at the tiny baby in front of her.

With that grin he opened the incubator and took the baby inside. Ruby looked at the little baby with a cruel look and her grin signaled her bad intentions.

Without wasting any time, Ruby immediately took the baby out of the room. He hurried to the exit with the innocent little baby.

"Wait on! Who are you?!"

There was an exclamation that intended to stop Ruby's steps to bring out the baby in her carrier was out of the room.

Ruby was reluctant to look back, where the source of the sound came from. In his heart he said,

Damnit damnit! Why would anyone see me? I need to get out of this place quickly so I don't get caught again.

Ruby's feet moved to get out of the room. Unfortunately there was a hand holding his shoulder to stop his steps.

Ruby tried to get out of that hand. He moved his shoulders to escape the hand that stopped him.

With the strength of the hand turned Ruby's body until Ruby's face was seen by her.

"You who? Give the baby back!" exclaimed the person who turned out to be a nurse who was guarding the room.

Ruby didn't say anything. He closed his mouth as if he did not want anything to come out of his mouth.

Seeing Ruby expressing like that, the nurse tried to reach the baby in Ruby's arms.

"Give the baby back!" exclaim the nurse while trying to take over the baby from Ruby's hands.

Ruby still insisted on keeping the baby from being released from her hands. Unfortunately, the nurse did not give up. He kept trying to get the baby back.

The cry of the tiny baby echoed in the room, until it was heard outside the room.

"PLEase...!!!" the nurse shouted loudly.

Ruby fear. He was afraid that many people would come into the room and arrest him.

The nurse tried her hardest to take the baby out of Ruby's hand with her screams for help. The baby's cry was very strong, making Ruby panic so that the nurse could snatch the baby from Ruby's hands.

The baby that was captured was now in the caretaker's arms. The nurse stared intently at Ruby while shouting loudly for help.

Ruby panicked, she ran out of the room and took a quiet road so as not to be caught by the security of the hospital.

The nurse immediately returned the tiny baby to the incubator. He looked at the little baby with a look full of guilt as he said softly,

"I'm sorry, you have to go through this."

"The love of this baby, just this afternoon she was born and separated from her mother for good, now she has to have a kidnapping. It's a good thing that didn't happen" said the nurse who had just arrived after Ruby fled the room.

"Yes, what a pity this baby. He had to be born into the world without being able to meet his mother for good. And if the abduction was successfully carried out, surely this baby will not last long without the help of tools here," continued the other nurse.

"What's this about? It seems something happened."

There was the sound of a woman distracting all the nurses in the room.

"Doctor Ayana, Mr. Rafael. Why are you here at night like this?" ask one of the nurses who was there with some hesitation.

Rafael looked one by one at all the nurses who were in the place. Then he said,

"We came here because my wife had bad feelings for our children. He wanted to come here to calm his agitated feelings."

"Have something happened? What about our children? Are they okay?" sahut Ayana seemed impatient to ask about the condition of the two babies.

The nurses looked at each other. They are afraid to tell what happened was their fault and caused bad things for the baby.

"Say, what's going on?" rafael asked firmly as if he did not want to be denied.

"There was just a woman wearing the clothes of this hospital patient taking this poor baby. It seems like she wants to kidnap him" replied the nurse who managed to take the tiny baby out of Ruby's hands.

Ayana and Rafael are shocked to hear the nurse's words. Ayana immediately asked Rafael to approach their babies in the corner of the room.

"Are our kids okay?" rafael asked after seeing the two babies who were sleeping well.

"Both baby Father and doctor Ayana are fine. The abductor woman only took the poor baby that her mother had just left after giving birth to her this afternoon" the nurse replied with guilt.

Rafael and Ayana sighed at the same time. They looked at their babies with obvious worry on both of their faces.

"Please move our babies into my room. You can check it out as scheduled. I will also be watching them myself in my room" Ayana told the nurse.

"But doc, I-I"

"Not that we don't trust you, we just want to get closer to our son. After all, in the VVIP room sangar guaranteed safety. You guys don't understand what I mean?" sahut Rafael firmly and looked at the nurses in the room one by one with a stern look.

The nurse breathed. He stared fearfully at Ayana and Rafael. Then he said,

"I'll ask doctor Sani and doctor Lana who handle these two babies."

"Hurry up, we'll wait here" Rafael said firmly.
