Chapter 23 Sincerity of love

The pair of eyes that had been stalking Ayana and Rafael had been watching them while beating Satria.

He growled furiously when he saw Ayana and Rafael protecting each other. In addition, he was also very emotional to see Satria who told everything to Ayana and Rafael.

He was looking for something to vent his frustration on them. His eyes wandered around him in search of the object. Instantly his eyes sparkled when he saw a stone that was not so big and not too small. He immediately took the stone and threw it with all his strength towards Ayana.

Rafael and Satriya turned towards Ayana. They were surprised to see Ayana's temple which released a red liquid.

Rafael immediately held onto Ayana's temple which was still releasing a red liquid while saying,

"Darling, what's wrong with you?"

"Pursue him!" shouted someone from a place not far from them.

"Damn it!" as Rafael watches, their bodyguards chase after someone who looks suspicious.

"Ruby?!" satria chirps who saw the mysterious person were being chased by several people.

Rafael turned to Satria and asked her,

"What's? Ruby's? Is she Ruby?"

Satria turned her head towards Rafael and nodded her head at Rafael who was looking at him seriously.

"So he told you to do all this?" raphael asked back with his frowning forehead.

Satria again nodded her head without saying anything to answer Rafael's question addressed to her.

Rafael breathed. At the moment he feels a sense of helplessness. Though there are many bodyguards who guard them, unfortunately, Ruby's cunning can fool them.

Hearing Ruby's name, Ayana immediately embraced her husband's body. He felt really scared and threatened.

"Relax, relax. Nothing's gonna happen. I promise I will always protect you" Rafael said, hugging and gently rubbing Ayana's back to calm her down.

Ayana further tightened her embrace to her husband and said,

"I'm afraid of Raf. I'm afraid the female fox is back to harm me and our baby. He is very strong and has no mercy. I'm afraid Raf... I'm scared...."

Raphael hugged his wife tighter and kissed her forehead for a long time. Then he said,

"Don't be afraid, dear. I will always take care of you. I will always be by your side."

Seeing that Ayana and Rafael are so clearly in love, Satria hesitates to get Ayana's heart. He felt that there was no gap he could enter.

Why is it so different from what Ruby said? Though I clearly saw the evidence given by Ruby to me. What the hell is going on? Looks like I have to find out again, Satria said in her heart.

Rafael turned his head towards Satria who was staring at him. He looked resentfully at Satria while saying,

"Stupid! What is that cunning woman that you trust more than any of us who have ever been your friend? What's more you say you still have feelings for my wife. How could you say that in a way that hurt him? Giving her terror while she was pregnant? And look at that, where can a pregnant woman run that fast?"

Satria was feeling very stupid right now. He felt that he had been influenced by Ruby whom he had hated for a long time.

"Have you checked the truth? Have you proven it with your own eyes? Why are you being so stupid as Satria?! Where is the famous smart Satria? Are you going to say that it's all because of your love for Ayana? Is wrong! You're just obsessed with him. You're obsessed with getting Ayana who's already my wife. Isn't it?" rafael said with annoyance and stared intently at Satria.

Satria felt cornered. He can't say anything at the moment. Everything Rafael says feels right. He just realized his mistake. His stupidity makes him a criminal in front of Ayana.

"Sorry" said Satria, lowering her head.

Ayanas slightly unraveled Rafael's embrace on her and turned towards Satria. He looked at Satria who looked very guilty to him. Then he said,

"Find another woman Satria. Find your love that I believe is among the women out there. Do not force your love on someone, because it is not love. That's right Rafael said. That forced sense would only become an exaggerated obsession. And fear it will be dangerous for him."

"Sorry Ayana. Ii'm sorry. I don't know why I'm being such a fool just because I hear you're suffering right now. I only realized when I saw the sincerity of your love. Ii'm sorry. I'll go now" Satria said, standing by the part of her body that was hit by Rafael's raw bogem.

Satria walked over to Rafael and Ayana who were still hugging. Unfortunately the more Satria approached, Rafael who was still in a position to hug his wife stepped back.

Satria smiled wryly at Rafael and Ayana who seemed to avoid him as if afraid of him. Then he stretched out his hand and said,

"I just wanted to apologize and shake hands with you guys."

At once Rafael covered Ayana's body with his back. He was in front of Ayana so that Satria could not see her or reach her.

"Raf, I just want to apologize to Ayana" Satria said with a compassionate look at Rafael.

Rafael looked back a little. He also remained vigilant with Satria. He also said,

"Darling, did you forgive him?"

"Yes, I'm sorry. And please don't do that again" replied Ayana who was sheltering behind her husband's body.

Rafael smirked seeing Satria looking sad at this moment. Then he said,

"You heard it yourself, didn't you?"

With that sad face of hers Satria nodded her head. He looked sadly at Ayana who did not want to see him. In his heart he said,

Is Ayana afraid of me? Or is he mad at me? Or does he hate me for what I did? I think I was wrong. I shouldn't have trusted Ruby who had always acted selfishly long ago.

"Better now you get out of here Sat. But if we need your help to punish Ruby, are you willing?" rafael asked firmly to Satria who was still standing before him.

Satria nodded her head as she said,

"certain Raf. I'll help. I will give you a statement in accordance with the facts. Again forgive me Rafael, Ayana. I'm going to go now."

Satria really left that place. He left with a wound that he had not been able to treat since the revelation of the fact of Ayana and Rafael's marriage.

Raphael again carried Ayana in his arms and said,

"Now we can be calmer. May that demonic woman be captured by them so that she can no longer bother us."

"Let go!"

"Damn you all!"
