Chapter 2 Bad events

With panic Rafael carried his wife's body to his car. He couldn't think of anything else for now. His mind was only one, he had to immediately bring his wife who was moaning in pain to the hospital.

"Hold Ay. I beg. Patience, dear, we will soon arrive at the hospital" Rafael said frantically to Ayana who was still grimacing and moaning in pain.

It's a new experience for Rafael. In addition to him being a father, he is also often bothered with the desire to crave his wife at any time.

But all of that was great for Rafael. It's so different from the moment. He had to be strong and calm to deal with the current state of affairs. This situation was completely undesirable. Never even a little bit in his mind.

Ayana was still grimacing in pain. It was just that he did not yell or complain excessively. She did not want to make her driving husband worry about her.

Rafael's left hand held Ayana's hand tightly to strengthen her. His right hand still holds the wheel. Rafael's mind is very chaotic at the moment, but he has to try to stay focused on the wheel.

After a while, enter their car at the hospital where Ayana worked before. She was a general practitioner at the hospital, before she finally resigned due to her enlarged pregnancy.

Ayana did not want to resign from the hospital, but her in-laws and husband forced her to rest at home until she gave birth. And they promised to create their own clinic to realize Ayana's dream so far.

Raphael immediately carried his wife into the IGD room, exclaiming,

"Doctor... The doctor... Please save our wife and children."

The doctor and nurse in the IGD room ran over to Rafael.

"Doctor Ayana? What's wrong with Dr Ayana sir?" ask Dr. Widya, the IGD doctor who often keeps watch with Ayana.

"Suddenly he complained of pain in his stomach" replied Rafael in a panic.

"Let's sir, put Ayana's doctor over there" said the senior nurse who had known Ayana.

Rafael immediately took his wife to a bed of patients not far from where he was.

He slowly laid his wife's body on the bed. His wife's hair slowly covered her face. Then he said,

"Hold on, baby, I beg you."

Seeing the face of his wife who was grimacing in pain made Rafael heartless and shed tears.

"Sorry sir, please wait a minute over there. Let us check it first" Widya's doctor said, wearing her stethoscope.

With hesitation Rafael let go of his wife's hand. He stared unbearably at his wife who was staring at him with his teary eyes.

However, he had to get out of the place immediately so that the doctor could freely examine his wife. Raphael moved a little away from his wife.

Doctor Widya checks Ayana's condition. Then he said,

"Sus, please call doctor Sani. Tell me what happened to him."

"All right, doc," said the nurse who helped him earlier.

The nurse immediately contacted Dr. Sani. Only a few moments later, Sani doctor rushed into the IGD room.

Doctor Widya approached doctor Sani and said quietly the results of his examination.

Doctor Sani immediately checked Ayana's condition thoroughly. After a while the examination was over, he sighed. Then he turned to look at Rafael who was looking at his wife with a worried face.

After they gave Ayana first aid, Sani's doctor approached Rafael and said,

"Can we talk to you for a second, sir?"

Rafael nodded his head, agreeing to a request from Sani's doctor. They walked away from where Ayana was now.

"How's my wife doing, Doc?" rafael asked in a panic.

"For the time being the patient is fine. Fortunately, the patient was immediately taken to the hospital so that he could get help. If not, it is likely that something bad will happen to the baby" said doctor Sani accompanied by his breath.

"Then, what really happened Doc? My wife was okay. Suddenly he complained of pain in his stomach" asked Rafael with curiosity.

Doctor Sani looked at Ayana who was lying weakly with pain accompanied by an infusion tube that stuck in her hand. Then he said,

"Did Ayana's doctor recently experience shock, stress, fear, distress or depression?" ask Dr. Sani seriously.

"What does that have to do with all that doc?" rafael asked enthusiastically.

"It could be sir. Because the results of yesterday's examination, the baby in the womb of doctor Ayana is very healthy and there is no problem whatsoever. Has anything happened recently?" ask doctor Sani back.

Rafael breathed. He looked at his wife with a sorrowful look. Then he answered doctor Sani's question by telling him what happened before Ayana felt pain in her stomach.

"Maybe that's the cause sir. What's more, Ayana's doctor is pregnant, so she feels very scared because she has to protect herself and her baby," said doctor Sani accompanied by a sigh of compassion on Ayana's current state.

"Then, what should I do Doc?" rafael asked Sani seriously.

"You better stay somewhere else first after coming home from this hospital. And I beg you to pay attention to the safety and comfort of your wife, Father" said Dr. Sani with a serious look.

"Good doc. I won't be able to stay in that house anymore either. What's more leaving my wife alone in that house. Surely my mind will not calm down when I work," said Rafael responded to the words of doctor Sani.

Doctor Sani smiled. He knew that Rafael loved his wife very much, because he knew Ayana well and she was also Ayana's obstetrician all along.

"We're moving Dr. Ayana now in the hospital room. And don't hesitate to contact me if anything happens to Ayana's doctor. Whenever it is," Sani told doctors before leaving Rafael.

Suddenly there was a noise from inside the IGD room that was heard outside the room.

"No! Nay! Unhand me! Rafa's... Help me!" ayana shouted with eyes still closed when she felt her hands held by the nurse as she was about to be moved to her room.

Rafael and doctor Sani look at each other. From the gaze of the eyes the two of them seemed to ask each other what was going on with Ayana at this moment.

Suddenly a nurse ran over and called out to doctor Sani in a loud voice.

"Doctor...! Doctor Ayana doc...."
