Chapter 35 The Groaning of Ayana

Rafael hurriedly came out of the toilet. He did not want Ayana, his beloved wife was waiting for him for too long.

However, his footsteps suddenly came to a halt when he saw the figure of a woman sitting in a wheelchair and was laughing out loud. His eyes showed his anger towards the woman. Even his two hands clenched tightly when he looked at it with anger.

He looked around to find the whereabouts of his wife who was supposed to be sitting in a chair near the woman in a wheelchair.

There was clearly panic and anxiety on Rafael's face at this moment. His heart was beating with a bang because of his fear of losing his wife. Even his heart was very rumbling at this moment, when he did not find his wife in the same place before he left her.

"Yes...! Baby... Where are you?!" rafael shouted as his eyes combed the surrounding area to look for his wife's whereabouts.

The woman in the wheelchair turned to Rafael. He loudly called out to her, though,

"Raphel! Baby.. I'm here..!"

Rafael turned to the woman. He stared at her fiercely. Then she walked up to him with her quick steps as if showing her anger.

"Say Ruby, where is Ayana? What are you doing to him? Tell me, or will I-"

"It looks like she's going to die without me trying to get rid of her" Ruby said with a laugh and looked at Ayana who was being helped by the nurse.

Rafael follows Ruby's line of sight. She widened her eyes looking at the figure being moved into the gurney by the nurse wearing the same clothes as Ayana.

He turned to Ruby and looked at her with anger, saying,

"If anything happens to my wife and son, I'll make sure to exterminate you!"

Then Rafael's eyes were fixed on the two warden officers who were behind the nurse who was holding Ruby's wheelchair. Then he said,

"What is your real duty? Why would he hurt my wife? I'll make sure you accept the consequences if anything happens to my wife!"

After saying that, Rafael immediately ran to his wife who was in the gurney with several nurses who helped him.

Nurse doctor Sani asks the nurse who helped Ayana about what happened to Ayana.

"What's this about? Why is doctor Ayana like this?" she asked the nurse in a panic to the nurse who was helping Ayana.

"Doctor Ayana was-"

"Dad! Sweetheart! You why?" Rafael called out to interrupt the nurse's words when he was near his wife.

Ayana who was grimacing in pain turned her head towards her husband. With teary eyes she said,

"Raf, I'm sorry...."

Rafael clasped his wife's hand which was being pushed by the nurses towards Sani's doctor's room. He shook his head, unable to bear to see the face of his wife who looked in great pain.

"Don't say that, honey... I'm begging... Hang in. Don't leave me alone" Rafael said with a trembling voice and tears dripping down his cheek.

Ayana only grimaced in pain as her hand held onto her stomach. Rafael's eyes now turned to his wife's stomach, which became the center of his pain.

However, his eyes caught something that caught his attention. Ayana's feet contained a fresh red liquid that dripped. Then Rafael panicked and said,

"Darling, you have to hold on. Don't leave me. Remember our promise. Please don't break that promise."

Unknowingly Rafael's tears dripped down his cheek. Even his voice faltered while talking to his wife.

The safe was taken into the room of Dr. Sani's practice. The nurse who usually helps doctor Sani says,

Doctor Sani immediately approached Ayana. He checked Ayana and said,

"Hurry and take Dr. Ayana to the action room. We'll check it there."

Rafael gasps at Doctor Sani's orders. He understood what the commandment meant. Then he said,

"Dok, what does that mean? What's wrong with my wife? Her age is seven months. Then.why doctor-"

"Sorry sir, we'll talk about it later. I have to immediately check on my wife" said Sani doctor who rushed out of his room to catch up with Ayana who had been taken by the nurses to the delivery room.

Rafael realizes that he has been abandoned by the nurses who moved Ayana to another room, according to Sani's doctor's orders.

Immediately he ran after his wife who was still on top of the gurney with some nurses pushing.

"Raphel! Honey, please help me! They're hurting me! I want to go home with you!" exclaimed Ruby who was still there and was arguing with the warden.

Rafael. She was dumb with Ruby's screams that seemed to have a close relationship with her. He just ran to his wife.

Rafael's focus and attention is only for Ayana. He could think of nothing else but his wife who was fighting for his life and the child in his womb.

Raphael's hand grabbed the hand of his wife who was still in the gurney. He also said,

"Dear hold. I'm sure you can. I'm sure we'll stick together according to our promise. And we can live together with our children."

Ayana just grimaced in pain feeling the pain coming from her stomach. Even now she was reluctant to say anything to comfort her husband. He was just busy feeling the pain in his stomach.

"Raphel! Wait for me!" yelled Ruby who was still trying to prevent Rafael from leaving her.

"Awww..sick..," Ayanas groaned in a choked voice and grimaced in pain when she heard Ruby's voice that was like a frightening specter to her.

Rafael kissed his wife's hand as he walked next to Ayana's gurney who walked towards the action room saying,

"No. You cannot be weak. Ayana is my very strong wife. Hang on Baby. Hang on and do your best for your husband."

Ayana shed her tears. He nodded his head and said with a slight stammer,

"For our children too."

Hearing that, Rafael nodded his head with great enthusiasm. Then he said,

"Hold Baby. I know you can. You are the most wonderful wife and mother. Fight for us. So that we can get together and be happy together."

The nurses who were near them were silent and late listening to Rafael's words to his wife. They know how much Rafael loves Ayana. It is no secret at the hospital how beautiful and romantic their relationship is.

Raphael entered the room. Sani's doctor doesn't forbid him because he knows how much Rafael loves Ayana. And he also knew that Rafael would never want to leave Ayana alone, what else is in the current state.

Doctor Sani begins to examine carefully the condition of Ayana and the baby in her womb. With the help of medical devices in the room, he found something.

His eyes widened when he saw the USG screen he was wearing to check Ayana. He sighed because he felt that what he was checking was in accordance with what he saw on the medical devices he was wearing at this time.

Doctor Sani walked over to Rafael and said,

"Sir, I want to talk to you about something."
