Chapter 19 Nightmare

Rafael sighed reading a message from his papa asking about Satria. No one could keep anything secret from his father. And inevitably he had to say everything, because his father also had the right to know in order to protect his son-in-law and grandson.

Rafael replied to a message from his father. He told me all about Satria. Including Satria's feelings for Ayana at that time.

Slowly Ayana's eyes opened. She scrunched her forehead when she saw her husband making a sound with his eyes closed.

"Darling... Darling wake... You why?" ayana asked while shaking Rafael's arm when she found out that her husband was delirious.

Suddenly Rafael's eyes opened. His breath was breathless with sweat flooding his temples and forehead. He looked at his wife with a frightened look.

As fast as lightning Rafael's hand grabbed his wife's body and carried her in his arms saying,

"I don't want to lose you, baby. We need to stay together. They always wanted to separate us. You have to promise that we'll stay together under any circumstances."

Rafael's tears shed on their own. He could not tell his fears to his current wife. He could only try to calm himself by strengthening his heart leaning on his wife's embrace.

"Why you, honey? You dream? What dreams? Tell me," said Ayana while gently rubbing her husband's back.

Rafael breaks his embrace. He stared intensely at his wife's bead eyes and said,

"Please don't leave me, no matter what."

Ayanah scrunched her forehead. She felt strange at her husband's request. He also said,

"Why should I leave you? You are my husband and father of the child I bear today. So, why did I leave you?"

Rafael just shook his head with those teary eyes. His hands gently rubbed his wife's cheeks. Then he slowly kissed his wife's cheeks in turn. After that he kissed his wife's eyes in turn.

His eyes looked back at his wife's bead, saying,

"I should have dreamed. And I don't want that to happen."

"the dream? Nightmare?" ayana asked as she scrunched her forehead.

Ayana rubbed her husband's cheek gently while saying,

"What nightmare?"

"They managed to separate us. Even you and our son hate me" replied Rafael with tears dripping down his cheeks.

Ayanna quickly grabbed her husband's body and said,

"No. That's not gonna happen. I don't want that to happen. Whenever it was, I wouldn't be able to hate you or stay away from you. You believe me, don't you?"

Rafael nodded his head and tightened his embrace. He put his head on the recess of his wife's neck and said,

"I love you so much Ay. I love you the same. I don't want to lose you. Please don't stay away from me no matter what happens."

What happened to Rafael? Why is he like this? Ayana said in her heart.

Ayana's eyes looked towards the clock hanging on the wall of her room. Slowly he broke his embrace and said,

"It's dawn. We better pray first and then accompany me to take a walk on the beach to see the sunrise."

Rafael agreed. He smiled and kissed his wife's lips before getting out of bed.

Ayana who was flabbergasted by the sudden attack from her husband could only smile and blush in shame because of her husband's habit. Now the two of them were preparing to worship in their rooms.

Many things they say to the creator and ruler of the universe, all of which they pour in sincere prayer wholeheartedly.

The sun that has just risen and looks timid adds to the beautiful sound of the waves on the beach. On the beach, Ayana and Rafael join hands along the beach.

"Darling, can I ask you a question?" asked Rafael by holding his wife's waist.

Ayana turned towards Rafael with a look of wonder. Then he said,

"Ask what?"

Raphael inhaled a deep breath of air and took it out slowly to prepare himself to hear the answer from his wife. Then he said,

"About Satria."

Ayanah scrunched her forehead hearing the name Satria called by her husband. Even in her husband's dream that was said to be a nightmare she heard the names Satria and Ruby called by her husband. With that curiosity, he asked,

"What's wrong with Satria?"
