Remember Me, Baby.

Remember Me, Baby.
Jovanka's Secret

After returning to the apartment she rented, Jovanka slammed the door in annoyance. He stood for a while by the window and stared at the gate of the house across the street that was already sealed shut.

The woman swore in Russian and Japanese, then punched the wall beside the window in annoyance. He knew Clark was hiding something, but he couldn't figure out what it was. Despite looking careless and reckless, the man was extremely full of gimmicks.

Jovanka is currently at a dead end. Ryuchi has not been caught, Robert Castillo is dead, Andrew is running away with the Japanese girl, while Clark is silent. He really doesn't know how to act. If he stepped in wrong or made a wrong decision, then everything would completely fall apart, and that person would definitely not let go. Remembering that person made Jovanka shudder and tremble in fear. No one can match the cruelty of that person.

Drrr.

Drrr.

Drrr.

The sound of mobile phone vibrations on the table echoed in a quiet room, making Jovanka's body even more frozen. From the sound of vibrations repeating every second, Jovanka knew it was not a message, but a voice call. And he could guess who made that call.

She is the person Jovanka is thinking about right now, about her atrocities and her terrible ambitions. Damn, Jovanka already made a deal with that guy. At first the woman thought she had done a lucrative deal. Who would have thought that in the end his life was at stake.

“Sial,” hiss the woman while walking with rigid steps approaching the table.

He reached out and was about to grab his phone, but it suddenly stopped shaking. Jovanka's breath, held in her throat, slid back through her respiratory tract, leaving a warm trail in the air as her lips opened slightly. However, all those feelings of relief did not last long. The sound of knocking on the door leaf loosened his composure.

“No way ... impossible ...,” murmured in a voice resembling a whisper.

He turned around and looked at the door leaf which was about five steps ahead of him. The face that always looked resolute and dignified looked pias, as if the entire blood flow had not reached her pretty face.

The beats sound stronger and rhythmic. The pressure from the knuckles hitting the brown wooden sheet sounded like an accompanying song chanted by a death angel. Jovanka's soul was almost detached from her body just by hearing that knocking sound.

“S-who's there?” asked the woman nervously, then realized that her voice was barely audible.

He cleared his throat and stepped forward, stopping right behind the door leaf trembling. The woman was too afraid to look towards the screen on her left side which was a monitor to monitor the guests visiting her room.

“I know you're inside. Open the door.”

The hoarse and heavy voice entered Jovanka's eardrum, making her even more dazed for a moment.

“Open the door!” a more like-minded roar of anger caused Jovanka's body to jerk slightly back, but quickly back forward and opened the door without thinking about anything else.

Bugh!

The woman grinned with a paled face, her spine seemed to be about to break. He continued to curl up and press down on his heart with a intermittent breath. Not lost all the pain, his hair was pulled up hard to inevitably his body moved. He stood up with a slight bow, then a punch struck the side of his face quite hard.

Jovanka's head was twitching, her ears were ringing and her eyes were blurring. However, he was still trying to hold on. .. quickly rolled down the leg of the person who had just hit him and hugged him tightly.

“Master, I know I was wrong .. forgive, forgive my negligence .. I promise—“

“Appointment?” between the man while pulling his legs in disgust, “Huh! I don't need an appointment!”

Although she sounded calm, Jovanka knew the anger of the man before her had not subsided at all, so she could only continue to beg for mercy for her life, “T-master, in a moment ... give me a little more time .. I'll take care of everything immediately.”

The man towering in front of Jovanka frowned in dissatisfaction. Time was the only thing he could not tolerate. A little late to move, then all his plans for the last five years will be useless, futile ....

He stared in annoyance at Jovanka who was still kneeling under his feet, then moved the tip of the shoe to lift the woman's chin. His voice sounded emotionless, but there was a slight trace of threat and warning when he said, “Remember the agreement you have agreed to. Your insignificant position I can destroy with just one snap of a finger. However, if you manage to do as I command, then ...in the future, there will be no one who can shake your position. Understand?”

Jovanka nodded quickly many times while replying, “Understand, I understand ... Mr.”

The bald-headed man snorted in annoyance, then turned around and left without saying anything more. Four of his burly men destroyed almost everything in the room before coming out.

Jovanka's breathing choked, her body slumped to the floor, as if all the bones in her body had been removed and unable to support her weight anymore. A spotlight of horror flashed on his manic that was as blue as the sky of Tokyo. He should not have made that damned covenant. He shouldn't have played around with his life just to crawl into a higher position. It's already too late, isn't it?

There's no turning back. There is no room to retreat. He knew he did not have enough guts or the courage to run away, for wherever he went, he would find him. When that happened, even his chance to breathe was no longer there. That man never had mercy. Not even a little.

Therefore, he must continue to move forward, carrying out the plan as before even though the success rate is only one percent.

With his hands still shaking, Jovankan picked up the phone on the table and made a call to a foreign number. The long waiting tone made her breath feel tight. The throbbing pain in his chest and face made him frown deeply.

He was never humiliated like this. Naturally, he placed all the blame onto Keiko. According to him, because that girl Andrew Roux messed up the mission he had arranged well. It should have...not gone like this.

“Run the second plan,” he said after sounding from his interlocutor.

“Good, Captain.”

The woman was unaware that all the gestures and conversations inside her apartment were well recorded and sent to a flickering notebook in Clark's room. The man narrowed and sent all the information he heard to Andrew. They must prepare a strategy before the enemy attacks.
