"Hey! I thought you were there!" clark exclaimed as he patted Andrew's shoulder hard enough, making his best friend gasp and turn quickly towards him.
"I saw it ...," said Andrew in an almost inaudible voice. His gaze was unfocused, re-scanning the humans passing across the street.
"Who?" ask Clark while looking to the right and left. However, no one was known by him or Andrew.
"That girl .. she ... she was like an autumn fairy that appeared from inside the lukisa ...."
Andrew's answer led Clark to search in the human crowd before him. He had seen the girl's face for years, ever since Andrew began to capture her every dream and vision on a canvas. So, Clark feels he can recognize that girl if it's true that she's here now. But no one looked like that girl.
Clark shook his hand in front of Andrew's slightly absent-minded face, then flicked his finger to attract the man's attention.
"There's nobody, Drew," he said.
"Therefore. I saw it," replied Andrew. He still does not feel wrong to recognize people.
"Buddy, I think it's just jetlag influence. Come on, if you don't want to spend time on this sidewalk, we better hurry if you still want to go there," clark said as he pointed towards the museum building which was only about ten meters in front of them.
Andrew took a deep breath and rubbed his face slowly. Clark's right, he'd only be wasting his time staying here. Finally you stepped on Clark's side, though occasionally still trying to circulate your gaze around.
"Hey!" clark shouted when he saw Andrew wanted to cross even though the traffic light for pedestrians was still red.
"You want to die?" he sizzled again with glaring eyes, "What are you thinking?"
"Oh .. sorry," murmured Andrew softly, "I didn't see it."
"Why did you suddenly become so careless like this?" clark exclaimed as he held Andrew's arm from being separated from him.
"Let go!" hiss Andrew while pulling his hand out of Clark's check.
He glared when he saw his friend extending his hand toward him again. It made Clark undo his intentions even with a slightly upset heart.
"Stay there," Clark ordered as he edged forward, just in case Andrew went back to daydreaming.
When the lights finally turned green, Clark first walked ahead. Sometimes he turned to make sure Andrew was left behind or distracted again. He was really worried about seeing his friend. They are like brothers.
One year younger makes Clark think Andrew is his own biological brother. Being born as an only child makes them more adaptable to each other. In addition, Clark has made Andrew a role model since they first met at the Thanksgiving party held by the Roux family in Paris.
There are too many things they have been through together. Perhaps that was also the reason why Clark followed Andrew who decided to join EEL. He still forced to register even though Andrew desperately prevented his intention. Although sometimes acting a little annoying, Andrew always defended and protected him since childhood.
So, if something happens to Andrew, maybe Clark is the one who loses the most. And vice versa. Although Andrew is always cold and cranky, Clark knows his best friend will always protect him very well.
Suddenly Andrew stopped stepping and pulled the hand of Clark who was still walking in front of him while exclaiming, "Review! Watch your step, boy!"
"What are you thinking?" andrew exclaimed when he saw Clark still sculpting.
The man wearing the blue dongker sweater stared in disbelief at the huge pillar he almost hit if Andrew did not stop him in time. Clark looked at the thing and Andrew took turns. He could have done such a foolish thing after scolding Andrew earlier. It's embarrassing ....
"I'm thinking about you" Clark said with a misguided expression, a slight twitch glancing at Andrew who was stalling a smile and looking at him with a mocking look.
"Of course, forget. Come on, come in."
Clark ignored the astonished gaze of his best friend and walked towards the counter to scan the entrance ticket barcode with his cell phone. Andrew did the same, then picked up an art museum brochure that was available before catching up with Clark.
They both walked side by side to the art museum that is quite famous in Japan. Clark had no interest in art at all. However, he refused to stay away from Andrew. Therefore he always followed his friend to museums or other art places even though he did not like it too much.
"Go home when you're bored" Andrew scolded as he caught Clark's yawn, "You can sleep in a halfway house, why keep following me?"
"Where can it be?" clark replied lightly, "I could die lonely if there wasn't you."
"disgusting. Stay away from me! People can misunderstand us and think we are lovers" Andrew said as he walked quickly to the right aisle.
Clark was so scared he almost cried. Fortunately that afternoon there were not many visitors so no one scolded him for making an uproar.
"Hey! Wait for me!" he shouted in a tone of voice that was not too loud when he realized Andrew was not there in the first place.
He immediately ran to where Andrew had turned, but the man was no longer seen. For a while Clark looked to the right and left, trying to find his best friend. However, he only saw a pair of Asian tourists who were looking at some displays with a serious expression.
"Damn!" clark said slowly, "Why is the road so fast? I was worried about him, but he just left me like this. Really cruel."
Clark had no idea Andrew had gone up to the second floor. After turning, he again chose the right direction and found an elevator there. Without stalling, he immediately went in and pressed the number two. Being around Clark for too long can give him a headache.
After the elevator doors clang and opened, Andrew stepped out and walked towards the rows of human head-shaped statues in a fairly spacious hall. The room looks empty. Maybe because he visited during business hours so that the place was not too crowded. Or, it might also be because people's interest in these kinds of things is already dwindling.
He held up the brochure in his hand and matched it with the statues. The man was quite impressed because in the advancement of technology that has been very sophisticated as it is now, Furukawa museum still maintains the old way that seems "ancient".
The loud ringing of the cell phone from behind his body made Andrew turn around quickly. He opened his mouth to rebuke the owner of the phone. However, his tongue was suddenly twisted. How could he be angry if those innocent and innocent rabbit-like round eyes were staring at him with an apologetic look.
"Mosurprudence.1"
The girl held her phone in front of her chest and slightly bent down until her strayed hair spattered forward.
The brochure in Andrew's hand slipped off and slumped to the floor. The man was too shocked and nervous to speak. He was too afraid to blink.
Andrew was worried that if he closed his eyes for even a split second, the girl before him would disappear and re-enter the painting.
