Remember Me, Baby.

Remember Me, Baby.
Provocations

The car driven by Hiro continued to split the night. The road they were walking on was winding. High trees towering on the left and right side of the road.No lights and houses visible. Judging from the path taken by Hiro, it seemed like the man was taking a shortcut away from the city center.

“I'll take you to my place at the city border. From there you can go back to Tokyo,” Hiro said as if he could read Andrew's head.

Andrew just muttered and nodded his head slowly.

“Is this place we're headed to your property?” ask Keiko from behind.

“You could say so,” replied Hiro, at a glance turning towards Keiko through the rearview mirror, “Don't worry, I won't charge you anything,” he continued again, trying to joke.

Keiko forced a smile and did not ask again. The current Hiro is a little different from the Hiro he used to know. Even his long hair that is always neatly tied has now been trimmed down, at a glance similar to Andrew's haircut. With posture and facial features that also have little in common, the two men look like sisters.

“How can you know which room we are using?” ask Keiko again to stop her mind from wandering everywhere.

“I asked the innkeeper, saying that Mr. Roux told me to take his leftover items. Isn't that right, Mr. Roux?”

“What do you mean?” asked Andrew, staring inexplicably at Hiro.

“Isn't that iron box yours?” Hiro gestured for Andrew to look back.

Andrew took off his seatbelt and turned his body to see what was behind him. Keiko looked over. The two people were a little surprised when they saw Andrew's metal case was there.

“You can thank me later,” Hiro said with a slightly arrogant expression, “This time you owe me, Mr.Roux.”

“Thank you, I will definitely repay your kindness,” Andrew replied sincerely. Although a little reluctant, he must admit that Hiro is indeed meritorious this time. With his equipment in the metal case, it would be easier for him to ask for help.

Hiro smirked thinly and refocused himself onto the streets in front of him. The distance they have to travel is approximately 20 kilometers. He pressed the gas, making the car go at maximum speed. Inwardly, the man sneered at himself. For Sakamoto Keiko's sake he was willing to lower his ego and self-esteem like this. Obviously, the girl never put her heart on him. I don't know what debt he had to Keiko in his previous life to be willing to do something like this.

After driving for almost two hours, the car finally turned into the courtyard of a building that looked towering amid lush trees. There are no other buildings around it. There were only shrubs and bushes around the building. Under the dim light of the garden lights, Keiko could see the shape of a building more like a house from the modern century, but it looked gloomy and unkempt. Dark green paint adds to the dark and mysterious impression.

“Come, come in and rest,” Hiro said as he turned off the engine and opened the car door.

Andrew went downstairs and opened the back door for Keiko. After his girlfriend came out, Andrew looked down and took his metal case. The two of them then followed Hiro walking towards the stairs. When I reached the end of the stairs, the door was wide open. Hiro stands at the side of the door and makes way for Andrew and Keiko to enter.

As soon as Andrew and Keiko entered the living room, they were stunned for a moment. There are dozens .. no, maybe dozens of men in there. The men were in almost every corner of the room, busy wrapping and packing some white parcels into crates. Some others stood and stood guard by holding long-barreled weapons.

Andrew's reflexes advanced, standing in front of Keiko with an alert attitude, looking at the men with a threatening look. His hand slipped behind the suit, holding the handle of the mini gun he had just slipped there.

“Whoa ... whoa .. easy, Mr. Roux. No one will hurt you here,” Hiro said as he raised his hands in the air and stood between Andrew and the men, “They are my men.”

He then looked back and said, “Be friendly to my guests.”

The men were burly and filled with tattoos and looked down to pay their respects, then continued their activities again. A glimpse of understanding emerged in Andrew's head when he saw the white packets, but he made no comment at all.

Keiko let out a sigh of relief and looked up from behind Andrew's body. A moment later, his eyes were perfectly rounded when he saw Hiro's flushed white shirt on his right shoulder and waist.

“You injured?” exclaiming the girl as she advanced and reached out her hand, about to touch Hiro.

“It's okay, just a small wound,” Hiro replied while looking straight at Keiko's face.

“What's a small wound? Later can infection, quickly treat.”

Andrew pulled Keiko's hand to get closer to him and whispered, “Stay alert. We don't know what the plan is.”

“But he saved us,” denied Keiko while walking side by side with Andrew, trailing about seven steps behind Hiro.

“I know, but as long as we're here, you need to stay alert. I'm not sure he helped us without expecting anything in return.”

Keiko paused for a moment before replying, “Good, I understand.”

Andrew's eyes flashed as he looked at his belt which was now on Keiko's waist. He muttered, “Smart girl. Don't take that off your body.”

“Um.” Keiko nodded obediently and began to climb the spiral-shaped iron rungs.

He looked around, paying attention to the ornaments and shape of the building that was quite unique. Almost ¾ the interior of the room was made of mixed metal that is anti-rust and bulletproof. There were hardly any displays inside the house, other than a silver wall clock attached to the end wall of the stairs.

“Lewat here,” said Hiro while turning left.

They walked through the passage for five meters, then stopped in front of a black door with a golden phoenix engraving in front of it.

“Mr.Roux, this is your room. Please login.”

“Thank you,” replied Andrew, “Where is Keiko's room?”

The corner of Hiro's lips lifted at a glance before replying, “Don't worry about him. He's still my fiancee. I won't harm him.”

Andrew's body stiffened. Both of his hands were clenched until the veins protruded on the back of his hand. The highlight of his eyes was clearly emitting a killing intent aura. Her teeth chattered before she opened her mouth and replied, “Don't forget, you've already handed it to me, Young Master Kobayashi. She's mine now.”

Seeing and hearing Andrew's words made Hiro chuckle softly. He sneered and said, “We're already breakeven, Mr. Roux. Now you owe me. Pay it, give it back to me.”

Bugh!

“Ugh!” hiss Hiro when a fist lodged in his chin. He took a few steps back while slightly bending over.

“Andrew! Stopit! He's injured!” exclaiming Keiko while running and memapah Hiro staggering body.

“He-he .. I can't believe Mr. Roux, you are very emotional ...”

“Come, let me treat your wounds. Where is the P3K box?” keiko said while helping Hiro to get back on his feet.

Hiro's eyes flashed with satisfaction. Although Andrew's punch was painful, at least he managed to provoke the man and get Keiko's attention. At least, the pain is worth it ....

He turns around and lets Keiko help him walk to his room, leaving Andrew still glued to his doorstep.
