Remember Me, Baby.

Remember Me, Baby.
A good day?

After being hospitalized for one day, Hansel was finally allowed to go home. He returned to his apartment and rested in peace. He buys fast food for lunch, smokes, checks his email and work for a while, then lounges on the couch all day. Later that night, he ate a piece of bread and a cup of coffee, then went to bed. Days pass by, nothing interesting.

The next day he was ready to go to the office. After changing clothes and wearing shoes, he got off in the elevator. His indifferent appearance attracted the attention of several other apartment dwellers, especially young girls.

The girls, who were from different ethnicities, stared until she disappeared from their sight. Despite being Asian in blood, the gene possessed by the man was quite good, 190 centimeters tall, no less distant than the foreign man passing by nearby.

Hearing the whispers of the girls as he passed by, Hansel simply acted as if he had not heard them. He got out of the elevator and walked calmly to his car in the basement. The man turned on his vehicle and darted out towards Injan Entertainment. Because he has not been too familiar with the streets of Paris, he still uses the help of GPS.

Hansel did not deliberately use the services of a driver or ask for help his assistant to take the pick up. He felt it was impractical. After all if he drives himself, he can go anywhere without having to bother others.

Several employees had already arrived when he arrived at the main lobby. His car was parked in a special lot that was reserved for him. As he walked in, the security guard and manager who were chatting near the entrance immediately greeted him politely.

“Good morning, CEO Hansel.”

“Morning,” replies Hansel while nodding at a glance.

He walked up to the elevator and let the glass box take him to the 12th floor. A faint smile appeared on his face. Come to think of it, his present life was decent as well, it could not be said to be bad. Although it is far different from his life in Japan, at least here he can live quietly, and indirectly it seems that it affects his personality. Now he feels a person who is more friendly and relaxed, not too worrying about trivial things that are not important.

In the past, perhaps due to being in too much contact with the dark mafia world, his character became colder and reclusive, there was almost never a smile on his face. He also closed himself off more often and was formal, even with Keiko. It might be because of her attitude that Keiko could never open her heart to him.

Remembering Keiko made Hansel grin stiffly. He hears from Betty that Andrew is taking Keiko on a honeymoon around Europe. His heart still felt a little uncomfortable each time considering that he was already unable to get Keiko. But it doesn't feel as bad as the first time. Maybe because he kept on asking himself to forget about the woman. Or because Keiko was really happy with Andrew so he started to let go. I don't know ....

“Good morning, Mr. Hansel,” greet Betty while getting up from her chair.

“Again, Betty. What is the schedule today?”

Betty immediately carried the file on the table and followed her boss to the main room in front of her desk. He immediately explained the schedule of the day and submitted the files that needed to be signed. After that, he rushed out to make a cup of coffee.

“Thank you,” said Hansel as Betty placed a tray full of coffee on the middle table.

“Sama-sama, Sir. If there's anything, I'm outside.”

“Oke.”

Hansel was busy studying the cooperation contract that would be done with the Beauty Agency. An invisible smile of meaning appeared on the man's face, as if he was sneering and laughing at himself. He who used to be in the dirty business, now has to dabble in the world of fashion and celebrities, things that were completely unthinkable before. Paris which is famous as a fashion city since hundreds of years ago made him take this decision. And it didn't feel too bad, he liked his new job enough.

It didn't feel like it was almost lunchtime when Hansel finished checking all the files and signing autographs. He was just about to get out of his chair when he heard a knock. A few seconds later, Betty's head popped out from behind the door.

“Master, someone is looking for you.”

“Who?” tanyakanya.

“Um, Miss Cecille. He said he already made an appointment with you earlier.”

Hansel's eyes flashed for a moment, the corner of his lips twitching. Suddenly he became excited, but on the surface, his facial water seemed to remain calm.

“Send him in.”

“Good.”

Betty closed the door, but soon it opened again. Cecille stepped in with his chin looking up, giving off an impression of arrogance and arrogance. Without being told, the girl sat on the leather sofa in the middle of the room, then gave a peeking look to every item around her.

“You are not bad,” he said after satisfied judging.

Hansel chuckled softly and walked over to the girl. The ivory white dress she wore made her look like the alluring goddess Athena.

The man sat down in front of Cecille and said, “What wind brought you here? As I recall, we had no prior appointment.”

Cecille snorted, the look on his face turning stiff. He pulled his golden curls over his shoulders before replying, “Papa and Mama who forced me to visit you, invited lunch as an expression of gratitude.”

Hansel raised his eyebrows casually and replied, “I don't need mercy. If there is nothing else, please leave. There's still something I need to do.”

Cecille glared, not expecting that Hansel would blatantly reject him like this. Her lips pouted slightly when replying, “Who pityes you?”

“I don't want you to.”

“I ... no. ..” Cecille bit her lips and lowered her head, squeezing her bag with a slight nervousness. He cleared his throat before continuing, “There's something I want to talk to you about.”

“Oh ...” Hansel pretended to look at the circular clock in his hand before saying, “There is still 30 minutes. Eat in the cafeteria?”

“Um, okay.”

Hansel got up first and opened the door for Cecille. They both walk side by side to an exclusive dining room devoted to general managers, directors, CEOs, which is sometimes also used to entertain corporate guests.

Unknowingly Hansel stumbled on a smile. Now he feels his day is good.
