Remember Me, Baby.

Remember Me, Baby.
New identity

Hiro's treatment room is on the right side of the hall, not far from the elevator. The two guards who were standing guard immediately saluted and greeted when they saw Andrew and Keiko arriving.

“Good afternoon, Mr, Mrs.”

“Sore. Has anyone come to see him?” ask Andrew.

“No sir, there's only a doctor and a nurse inside. They just came in,” replied the bodyguard as he opened the door.

“Good. Thank you.”

Andrew walked side by side with Keiko into the white room. Their presence attracted the attention of a bald man wearing glasses with a silver frame who was checking the monitor on the side of the patient's bed.

“Mr.Roux, you have arrived,” greet the man as he approached Andrew and Keiko who were still standing near the entrance.

“Good afternoon, Doctor. How is he doing?” ask Andrew to the doctor who seems to be waiting for his arrival in the room.

“The condition is quite stable, tomorrow afternoon can go home and rest at home."

“Good. Can we see patients now?”

“Yes. Please, Mr.Roux.”

“Thank you.” Andrew nodded in satisfaction and gestured for Keiko to approach the bed.

“Hiro,” call Keiko slowly.

The man lying on the bed looked gloomy and lonely. The infusion liquid dripped one after another through the hose, flowing and entering through the needle stuck on the back of her hand, making Keiko's heart moved with compassion.

“Me and Andrew came to see you,” Keiko continued when she saw Hiro's eyes were still closed.

Perhaps due to hearing her familiar voice and yearning for it, Hiro's eyes slowly opened. He looked at Keiko's face around a stretch of hands in front of him and felt like he was hallucinating.

“Keiko?” call him in a hoarse voice.

“Yes, it's me. How you doing.? Do you feel better?”

“Au—"

“Ehm! I brought you a supplement,” interrupted Andrew in a loud voice that surprised Hiro.

The man who was still lying on the bed turned to Andrew quickly, making his eyes twitch.

“Drink so that you recover soon,” continued Andrew again while putting a package of supplements on the table near the window.

The sparkle that had emanated from Hiro's face slowly faded, replaced by a sour look and heavy heart. Why did Andrew Roux appear before him?

“Don't pout like that. I brought you something else” scolded Andrew when I saw Hiro's facial expression change.

He immediately reached into the pocket of the suit, took out a stack of documents and handed them to Hiro while saying, “This is your new identity. Check.”

“What is this joke?” ask him with high intonation. In the document, his name is Hansel Roux, the nephew of Marco Roux.

It was obvious that Hiro was trying desperately to restrain himself from throwing the stack of documents in Andrew's face.

“How can a joke? You can't use your name and your margin here if you don't want to be tracked easily. The only way is to become a member of the Roux family, it just so happens that I have a distant cousin on my paternal side who died when I was one year old. Isn't that perfect?” reply Andrew casually.

Not only was Hiro stunned, Keiko could not even force her brain to digest what Andrew had just said.

“This has been a long time, no one will notice it. My man has hacked and changed the data base from the center. That way you will become a member of the Roux family officially and no one can bother you. Oh, don't worry, I've asked my uncle and aunt for permission. They don't mind,” explained Andrew again when he never got a response from Hiro.

Keiko reached out and pulled the end of Andrew's suit, but the man gestured with his eyes to keep Keiko quiet. Finally the girl just bit her lips and squeezed her finger anxiously. What was Andrew planning?

Geligi Hiro. The veins in his temple stood out, spreading like fat worms wriggling on the surface of his skin. How could he have a blood relationship with his rival? This is a joke!

“If you agree, please enter your new identification number on your phone for retina scanner authorization. That way your new identity can be used immediately.”

Hiro untied his fist and set his hunting roar. There is no point in getting angry now. It was better that he pretended to cooperate obediently, then gather strength to avenge Andrew Roux.

Having managed to calm himself down, Hiro did as Andrew said. He entered the numbers listed on the form into the official website of the government and brought his face closer when the scanning on his phone lit up.

Registration completed's.

The lights on Hiro's phone screen turned green when he was officially registered as Hansel Roux. His entire birth identity and educational background changed 180°. He could barely even recognize himself with all the arrangements made by Andrew Roux. If he could fight, he would have done it. However, he knew clearly his position now could not bargain, let alone refute.

“Very good.” Andrew let out a satisfied sigh and pulled Keiko's hand until the bodies of the two of them clung tightly together. “Now greet your sister-in-law.”

“APA?!”

Tiiit .. tiiit .. tiiit ....

The monitor connected to the medical device attached to Hiro's chest suddenly screamed loudly. The wave that showed his heartbeat increased rapidly, moving like a tsunami wave that would sweep away anything that came in front of him. The doctor who was still inside the room immediately charged forward anxiously.

“Master, calm yourself down,” reprimanded the old man in a panic when he saw not only his heart rate, but also Hiro's blood pressure soaring drastically.

Hiro brushed off the doctor's hand, pulling out his needle in a rough pull so that blood spurted down the floor and the bed, but the man really didn't care. His body stood in a daze in front of Keiko, holding the girl's hand and staring with a rapidly changing expression, there was shock, pain, disbelief, pleas, as well as helplessness.
