Chapter 44 - Gift Before Application

Alka, Mama Lilis, Lisa and her husband are preparing the items to be brought during the application tomorrow in the living room.

Raline, Sean and Varrel are busy making Bella laugh cheerfully.

The family activities were surprised by the arrival of 2 unknown men who wore uniforms of one of the famous motorcycle brands.

"Is this really the home of Mr. Alka Adhitya Sudiro?" ask one of them.

"Yes, right. I am the one," replied Alka looking puzzled.

"This is a motor for Mr. Alka!" say another motor dealer.

"I don't have a message, Mom. Maybe it's the wrong person" Alka said.

"Maybe you guys got it wrong, take another look at the address!" timpal Aldy's.

The employee indicated the address given to Alka and her family.

They read it looking astonished.

"This motor who gave it?" ask Alka.

"Father Adi Sudiro" answered one of them.

"Father!" said Alka lirih.

"This is a gift for Mr. Alka" explained the employee.

Alka nodded and smiled faintly.

Both of them lowered the motor from the top of the pick up car.

"Please sign it, sir!"

Alka signed it.

"Please excuse me, sir!"

"Thank you" said Alka.

Aldy and Lisa also spoke.

Lilis was not too enthusiastic about seeing the gift her ex-husband gave her son.

Alka's children came out and saw a new motorbike parked on the porch of her house.

"Who's this guy got?" ask Raline.

"It's your father's, '" replied Aldy.

"Buy buy a new motorbike?" ask Raline again.

"No, Son."

"Who are you from?" Varrel asked now.

"Grandfather" replied Alka.

"Whose grandfather?" ask Varrel and Raline.

"Yes, your grandfather," replied Alka.

"We have a grandfather?" ask Raline.

"We only have Grandma, Opa Andi and Oma Rita" Varrel said.

Alka saw her sister asking for help in finding a way to explain.

"Raline, Varrel, this bike is a gift from Grandpa Sudiro to your father" Lisa explained.

"Who is Sudiro's grandfather?" Varrell asked again.

"Your father's biological father and Aunt Lisa" he explained again

"So, we have a grandpa?" raline asked plain.

"Yes" Lisa replied.

"When can we meet him?" ask Raline again.

"We'll see, yeah. Now you take care of Bella's sister," Alka averted the question of her two endless and long-term children to explain.

The two boys nodded and went back to Sean and Bella.

Alka looked at the new motorbike, she did not have her papa mobile number to thank.

Lilis approached her son who was still staring at the motorbike, "Don't look at it, if papa you come later ask why he bought you this."

"Yes, Ma."

"Let's go in we continue the work again," asked Lilis.

Meanwhile, Arman called a friend during his college to be able to attend his daughter's application event.

"Can you be at my daughter's show?"

"I can't, tomorrow my son will also propose."

"Have you found your son?"

"I haven't seen his face yet but, a proposal invitation came to my house. So, I want to make amends first by accompanying him to propose," he explained.

"It's okay, I wish you'd come to my daughter's wedding."

The day of the proposal arrived, Shireen smiled as the makeup artist styled her hair. Yes, today he will be proposed to someone he loves.

A cleft voice rang out in his ear, several families and relatives at a protest to Arman and Ratih who received a proposal from a three-child widower.

The increasingly hot train went to his daughter's room, he sat beside Shireen who was in makeup with a frown and annoyed.

"Why, Ma?"

"Look, they tell you. Mama was embarrassed" replied Ratih.

"Why is Mom embarrassed?"

"They asked Mama why they let you get widowed."

"Just let it go, they don't know that my future husband is so handsome and charming" Shireen smiled in praise.

"Mama is serious Shireen," Ratih looked annoyed.

"They're coming soon too, Mama don't make my show cancel" Shireen said.

At the same time, Alka was preparing to board a car that her sister-in-law had borrowed from her friend.

A luxury car stopped right in front of the car that Alka was about to board.

A 19-year-old young woman came down leading the middle-aged man who was using a cane.

"Dad, who's grandfather?" ask Varrel.

Alka did not answer.

"You're leaving, are you?" ask Sudiro.

Sudiro approached Alka and hugged her tightly, not feeling the tears of the two dripping.

Raline and Varrel looked confused.

Alka was able to hug her papa after 16 years of not meeting, she tried to search 10 years ago but always failed.

Sudiro and Lilis separated when Alka was 13 years old. Five years later they met at an event at the Mall.

Mama Lilis always said that her father was an innkeeper. However, he never told me where his address was.

This second marriage, Alka begged Lilis to tell her father and her wish was fulfilled.

"Yes, Pa." Answer Alka.

"Let's go now!" bring him.

Almost 20 minutes into their journey, they arrived at Shireen's residence. Some people welcomed Alka and her entourage.

The curious mothers want to see the face of the future husband of Shireen.

"It's lucky that Mrs Ratih has a daughter-in-law as handsome as an artist."

"Ma, look at them praising Mas Alka!" whispered Shireen in Mama Ratih's ear.

Alka sat opposite the smiling Shireen looking so beautiful and graceful with a light blue kebaya wrap.

Alka looked groggy although not the first but her heart beat quite fast.

The committee read out several series of application events. The guests heard it carefully.

Almost 90 minutes, the event was completed and given a decision if the wedding will be done 2 weeks according to the request of both brides.

Arman who did not know before if Sudiro is the real father of his future son-in-law seems happy because this is a surprise for him.
