My father's charm
Chapter 38 - Explaining to Both Parents

On top of the two-wheeled vehicle running, Shireen said, "Mas, I was carrying a motorbike. Why would Mas Alka bother to drive me?"

"I don't want to see your pouting face" Alka replied.

Shireen patted Alka's shoulder slowly.

"I know you're not comfortable seeing me talking to Laras, so let me take you home. The bike will be me and Derry who drive it," he explained.

Shireen nodded. Then he asked, "Why does she know Mas Alka?"

"We met somewhere when Rani was my wife. Yes, she came with the man who is now Rani's husband" Alka replied.

"Oh, so Brother Laras has become a widow so as to approach Mas Alka?"

"No, Rani became the second wife."

Shireen did not expect. "Strong and patient, Brother Laras!" his praise.

Finally, Shireen arrived at his place of business. Alka then returned to her workshop.

Shireen entered the shophouse, Mama Ratih standing in front of the entrance.

"Where?"

"Deliver the order, Ma."

"Where is your motor? Why did that guy deliver you?" his pedicab.

"Ma, just arrived in this town. I'll explain later," he explained. "Where's papa, Ma?" diverting questions.

"Other father is in the toilet, you have to explain it later at home" Ratih said.

"Yes, Ma" he promised.

Shireen sends a message to Alka to deliver her motorcycle to the shophouse and leave it with one of her employees.

Alka replied to the message by saying yes.

Shireen and her parents arrived at their residence, so that Ratih then charged an explanation from his daughter.

"Ma, let Shireen take a bath and she will explain" Arman said.

"But, Mama's impatient, Pa. Moreover, they were in tandem and very familiar," said Ratih.

"I'll explain, Ma, Pa."

"Quickly explain, what is your relationship with that man?" Ratih is impatient.

"His name is Mas Alka, he's my girlfriend, Ma, Pa."

"What's? Are you in a relationship with a widower? Not wrong? You're gonna get us a match, why love someone else, Shireen?" a row of questions were thrown from the mouth of Ratih.

"Ma, we love each other. What's wrong if he's a widower?" ask Shireen.

"Shireen, she's a widower with kids. Taking care of the child is not as easy as imagined let alone they are not children that you gave birth to from your womb," said Ratih.

"Ma, just leave Shireen with the man" said Arman.

"This father is not defending Mama instead supporting Shireen. We have promised to match him with Gani, why even allow him with the widower" said Ratih upset.

"Papa always disagrees with Mama," Ratih first walked to his room.

Shireen approached Arman, "Thank you, Pa."

"Papa wants to meet the man..."

"The name's Alka, Pa."

"Yes, Papa wants to meet Alka. Whether he deserves it or not is with you" Arman said.

"I'll tell Mas Alka, Pa." Shireen smiled happily.

"Did you miss Auntie?" align the position with Raline who is standing.

Raline nodded.

"Now Aunt has come and your longing has been taken care of when we play" Shireen said.

"Come Auntie!" Raline looked excited.

Lilis smiled at the arrival of her son-in-law, hoping that Shireen would be able to treat the wound and accompany Alka to the end of her life.

"When does Aunt live one house with us?" ask Raline.

Shireen and Lilis looked at each other upon hearing the little girl's question.

"Say Dad, Aunt Iren will be staying at home with me, Sean and Brother Varrel" he said.

Lilis pulled the corners of her lips as well as Shireen.

"Did you lie?" ask again.

"Are you really loving Aunt Shireen?" tanya Lilis sat down to join her grandchildren.

"I love him so much" Raline hugged him.

"What about Varrel?" ask Lilis.

Varrel nodded.
