Chapter 14 - The Painful Holiday

This day Alka and Rani were silent, both doing their usual activities.

"Mom, tomorrow, we're going for a walk?" raline asked when she finished dinner.

"Surely, Son." Rani replied with a smile.

"Mom, the five of us, aren't we going?" ask Varrel.

"No, Son. We'll take Oma Rita, Opa Andi, Aunt Rina too."

"Why take Aunt Rina, Mom?" ask Varrel again.

"Yes, because they're our brothers too."

"Grandmother was also invited, right?" Varrell asked again.

"Yes, son."

"Hore Grandma's coming!" Raline shouted cheerfully.

"It's time you guys sleep!" Rani takes her children to her room and sleeps together.

Alka slept alone.

At 1 p.m., Alka woke up and stepped into her children's room but did not see her. "Surely he's on the phone with that guy!" inner accusing.

Alka then looked for the whereabouts of his wife in the living room and sure enough, Rani was talking to someone using her mobile phone.

Alka squeezed her right hand, for some reason it hurt so much when her wife was able to laugh happily to a man other than herself.

Alka then approached Rani and took her phone forcibly and turned it off.

Rani was surprised then stood up, "Mas!" his jolt.

"You don't like it?" tanya Alka challenged.

"Why did you turn it off?" Rani looks upset.

"Who is he, Rani?" back asking.

The woman could not answer.

"I see now that you've changed, what are you hiding from me?" Alka tried to ask in a soft voice.

"There's nothing I'm hiding from you, Mom."

"Don't lie!" his jolt.

"I'm not lying, Mom." Rani tries to keep avoiding.

Alka took a deep breath and exhaled.

"Mas, trust me. I have nothing to do with any man" Rani said softly.

Alka did not want to prolong the problem, she rushed to the room. Once in the room he soared into the air and scooped his face roughly.

Meanwhile Rani exhales while stroking the chest.

Next morning....

Alka's family now arrived at a tourist park not far from her residence which only takes 1 hour journey.

Rani's extended family has also come.

Lilis who felt awkward with her daughter-in-law's extended family chose to be close to her grandchildren.

Rita smiled at her daughter's mother-in-law. Even though they were sitting on the same mat, the two of them only spoke briefly.

Amidst the excitement of the Alka family holiday and her in-laws, they came to someone she did not know.

Rita stood up to greet the man and his family. "Tante feels this to be a surprise with your arrival here!"

"Really, Auntie? We came here because Rani was inviting," said the man glancing at Alka's wife. "Tante, meet my most beautiful wife" Andri introduced the woman next to him.

The woman smiled and shook hands with the 4-year-old girl.

"Let's have lunch together" Rita encouraged.

Andri and her family sit together with Rani's other extended family.

Alka continued to look at the man who was now dealing with his wife, like he had known her face.

Alka tried to keep remembering and it turns out that the man who came with his wife and daughter was a close friend of Rani.

Alka smiled even though her heart was holding back anger and jealousy. Occasionally he also noticed the nose of his wife's face that was so stiff it was not as warm as is usually seen by both eyes.

Although gathered, Alka's eyes continued to focus on his wife and the man.

Alka was holding Sean who continued to babble, her gaze lost the figure of two people she always monitored.

Alka handed her youngest son to Lilis, "Ma, leave Sean. I'm going to the toilet." Pamitnya's lying.

Lilis took over the sling.

Alka walked in search of their whereabouts. Not long enough to find him.

Alka saw the two from a distance.

"You want my husband to know about our relationship!" Rani looks angry.

"I don't want you to keep close to your husband, Rani."

"You think I like your closeness too!"

"I had to take them so no one would suspect anything!"

"Due to your distance and your gaze as close as possible to my family!" Rani passed too.

Alka quickly went into hiding so that his wife wouldn't know she was being watched.

Alka then walked up behind his wife and called her, "Rani!"

The woman fell silent and looked frightened.

"Where from?"

"From the toilet, Mas."

"Oh, look after Sean. I want to go to the toilet, Mama wants to eat," Alka told a lie.

"Good, Mas." Rani also left.

So as not to suspect Alka also went to the toilet.

By late afternoon, they returned to their homes. Rani is so very familiar with her children to cover up her mistakes.

Alka was silent.

"Mas, can I make you some warm tea?" bargained for.

"No, I can do it myself later" replied Alka.

"If you want to tell me, yes," he said softly.

"I don't want to bother, just take care of the kids. Rarely do you talk to them," Alka said then went into the bathroom.

Rani stared at the bathroom door.

Rani enjoys breakfast with a man in a cafe. Sipping tea while looking at the crowd of the capital.

"Why did you meet here?"

"I need to talk to you!"

"Was your husband again?" guess the guy.

"Yes, Mas Alka is getting away from me."

The man pulled the tip of his lips, "This is very good news."

"I couldn't let go of her before you left your wife" Rani said.

"I'll leave him, Rani."

"I'm not sure, Andri."

"You don't believe in our love, your parents approve of our relationship but you chose that man over me" she said.

"That time was very different, Mas Alka I thought was the heiress of the Sudiro Star Hotel inn was not."

"Now there's nothing to be proud of him anymore, why keep him?"

Rani could not answer.

At exactly 6pm, Rani arrived home. Her husband also came home from work. Alka joked with her children while watching television.

"Well, Aunt Iren's never here again, is she?" ask Raline.

"Why, Mom?" ask Raline again.

"Because we don't have to order food from him. I'll cook you the food you like."

"But, I miss playing with Aunt Iren, Mom." Raline.

"Your toys are many, so there's no need to play with them anymore." Rani then headed to her room.

Alka who was in the living room was silent.

Dinner only heard the laughing voice of Raline and Varrel, his parents looked at each other not speaking a word.

Towards sleep, the two did not say hello until a painful statement made Alka turn to his wife.

Rani threw away her face.

"Is that man the reason you asked me for a divorce?" looking at his wife seriously.
