Chapter 20 - Asking Shireen for Help

Shireen was so excited when asked by Alka to come to deliver the order while accompanying Raline to play.

As soon as he arrived, Shireen got off his bike. Knocking on the door and saying his greetings, he entered the house.

Raline jumped up in excitement when she saw Shireen coming, usually the woman just delivered the order on the porch and left.

"Hi, pretty!" sapana.

"I miss!" Raline hugged him.

"You miss Auntie?"

"Are you able to cook now?" ask Shireen.

"It's so delicious" Shireen praised the thumbs of her right hand.

"Am I fit to be a chef?"

"It's a good fit" Shireen replied.

Raline smiled happily.

"Now we have lunch" Shireen asked.

Lilis is busy taking care of Sean.

Shireen brought rice along with side dishes and vegetables for Raline and Varrel.

The two boys, ate it so greedily.

"The virus is running out anyway" said Lilis.

"Why, Bi?"

"Susu Sean is finished" he replied.

"Let me buy it," hailed Shireen.

Lilis handed Shireen 2 pieces of blue-colored money after telling the brand of the product and the weight of the contents of the powdered formula.

Shireen rode his bike to the nearest minimarket. Once there, ask the store employees turns out the product is up.

Shireen moved to another shop 500 meters away from the first place. Looking from top to bottom of the shelf that provides the formula milk in search still does not exist.

Shireen smiled happily carrying her groceries. Rushed forward his motorbike to Alka's house.

Once home, Shireen placed the formula box on the dining table with the receipt and change.

Shireen came back to Raline who had finished eating. His eyes accidentally saw the photo togetherness of Alka, his ex-wife and his three children plastered on the wall of the living room.

Shireen looked seriously at Rani's photo. "The woman in the minimarket was very similar to him, were they the same person?" his inner.

Raline surprised Shireen, "Tante why shut up?" his eyes also looked at the photos of his parents, brother and sister.

"Tante, it seems to see a woman who looks like your mother" Shireen said.

"Where, Auntie?" Raline was so enthusiastic.

"In the minimarket, but maybe they're similar" Shireen replied.

"I think it's true, mother. Me, brother and Sean miss him so much" Raline said with teary eyes.

"You must have met him, believe in Auntie!" Shireen held Raline's face. "Tante has to come back, tomorrow we play again" he continued.

Shireen nodded, saying goodbye to Lilis and Alka then passed.

Alka arrived home at 4pm, as the workshop holiday closed early. Arriving at home, Raline ran up to him.

"Dad, I was playing with Aunt Iren" he said.

"You don't hate him anymore, do you?" Alka squatting balances the position of the body.

Raline shook her head.

"Tante Iren is a good person, maybe he's busy so he doesn't have time to play with you" said Alka.

"Yes, Dad," Raline said. "Dad, said Auntie she saw the mother in the minimarket," he continued.

"When?"

"So afternoon, it was Aunt Iren who bought milk for Sean's adek," he said.

"Rani's still in town, but why do her friends say she's been transferred?" inner asked.

"Dad, when do we meet mom?" ask Raline.

Alka stood up, thinking about her daughter's words. He took his cell phone to his room, contacted Opa Andi about the whereabouts of his ex-wife.

"Hello, Pa!" sapa Alka's.

"Alka, what's wrong?" the female voice answered her call.

"Mama?"

"Yes, what's the matter with papa?"

"Do you know where Rani is?"

"Mama can't tell you."

"Why, Ma?"

"Rani forbid it."

"Ma, the kids want to meet him. Can they see their mother?"

"Mama can't help, Alka. Sorry!" Rita hung up.

Alka breathed a disappointed breath.

Alka asks Shireen to pick Varrel up at school because he has no time and the usual neighbor to pick him up is coming home.

Shireen waited in front of the school fence, almost 10 minutes Varrel did not come out. He then contacted Alka. "Hello, Mum. Maybe Varrel didn't know I was waiting for him. Can you call the teacher?"

"Yes, I'll call his teacher." Hang up Shireen's phone and call Siska.

Shortly thereafter, Varrel and a woman approach him.

Siska looked at Shireen questioningly.

"Let's go home, Varrel!" bring him.

Not hearing Siska's words, the woman said goodbye.

Siska stared at the motor that Shireen was riding on. "Is he just a friend?"

On the way home, Varrel asks Shireen to stop.

"Tante, I want to buy some meatballs. Here's money!" handing over 2 pieces of brown money.

"Well," Shireen got off the bike and so did Varrel.

Both went to the meatballs.

"Mom, make three packs, yeah!" the question is on the meatballs trader.

"Ready, Neng!" the merchant also mixes meatballs and wraps them.

Unknowingly, Varrel walked out of the stall.

"Neng, here's the meatball!"

"How, Ma?"

"Thirty thousand."

Wanting to pay Shireen, she realizes that Varrel is not next to her. He looked to the right and to the left.

Shireen turned her gaze to the streets, as Varrel seemed to want to cross by shouting out the name of the boy, Shireen took a quick step and pulled Varrel's body.

"Where are you going?"

"We'll go there, but pay the meat first" Shireen said.

"Mom's gone, Auntie. Ride the car in black" he said with a disappointed look.

"Don't be sad again, you'll definitely meet mom. Now we go home and eat meatballs" Shireen lifted Varrel's chin with her fingers while smiling.

The two also came home with 3 packs of meatballs.

Once home, Raline shouted excitedly to meet Shireen, especially the woman brought meatballs.

Copying the meatballs onto some bowls, Raline and Varrel enjoyed it.

Shireen was sitting at the dining table with Lilis, so it happened that Sean was also sleeping.

"Bi, can I ask you something?"

"Ask what?"

"Why doesn't Mas Alka's ex-wife want to see her kids?"

Lilis looked surprised by Shireen's question.

"Sorry, Bi. Not wanting to interfere, Varrel was about to cross. He said he saw his mother," he said.

"Aunti believes that Rani is still in this city, but her family never told her" said Lilis.

Shireen continued eating and told the woman not to be sad anymore.
