My father's charm

My father's charm
Chapter 37 - Change Me, Let Me Be More Familiar

Alka came home from the workshop deliberately early, he brought his favorite motorcycle that had accompanied him for almost 8 years to the vehicle wash.

Yes, tonight Alka will take Shireen to chat together in a cafe.

The hour hand is approaching the number 7, Alka has prepared to dress up neatly to look handsome.

All three of her children were placed in the house of Mama Lilis, because if the children were in his house they would ask where his father was going and that only made the time seized for answering his children's questions.

Alka rode her motorcycle towards Shireen's house and the woman was already waiting for her.

Embarrassedly, Shireen sat in the back. They went to the cafe.

Arriving there, Alka deliberately ordered a special table for the two with a view of the city decorated with colorful lights.

"Mas, isn't our place here more expensive? Why not just go downstairs?" ask Shireen. Because he knows what kind of financial ability Alka even though he has a private workshop and 3 employees. But, there are 3 children that Alka should fight for.

"Yes, indeed. But I am ashamed to talk to so many people. Moreover, there are still many visitors here young people. I am old and have three more children" Alka said.

Shireen chuckled, "The Alka Mas is ageless to know."

"really?"

"Yes, Mas Alka looks like actor Kim Soo-hyun. That's why I like it" Shireen replied honestly.

"You praise him too much" said Alka.

"Don't Mas Alka know Kim Soo-hyun's face?"

"Rani likes to watch dramas. So, I know some of the cast," he replied.

"Oh." Shireen smiled faintly.

"I'm sorry, I said his name."

"It's okay, Mom."

Alka's order finally came, the waiter presented it.

"Please eat!" said Alka.

Shireen nodded.

"I want to ask you," Alka paused for a moment her fork spoon.

"Me?"

"It's okay, right?"

"Yes, it's okay. It can make us even more familiar" Shireen said.

"Then from now on replace me, let it be more familiar," said Alka.

"Alright, Mas," Shireen smiled. "What would Mas Alka ask?"

"Is it true that Gani will be proposing to you in a few days?"

Shireen shook her head.

"He told me two days ago that in a week he and his family would come to propose to you" Alka said.

"Our family doesn't talk about it" Shireen said.

"So, is he lying?" Alka looked serious.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Gosh, why could he lie to me" he grumbled.

"If Gani doesn't lie and doesn't say anything, does Mas Alka keep that feeling?"

Alka.

"Mas, I like you!"

Alka's still flinching.

Shireen continued to eat, "I'm so shameless, yes!"

"I like you too, Shireen!"

The woman went back to silence, looking at Alka's face. "You're serious, Mum?"

"Yes." Yeah." Still staring.

Shireen smiled happily, "Thank you, Mas!"

"I'm supposed to thank you, you stole my children's hearts first" Alka said.

"I also don't know why I love them so much" Shireen said.

-

Finished dinner together, Alka drove Shireen to her house after which rushed home.

Alka did not pick up her children because it was too late, her three children must have fallen asleep.

Alka threw herself down on the bed, she looked at the ceiling. "I think I should propose to her immediately."

Meanwhile, Shireen who had just finished washing her face and changed her clothes looked at the mirror with a smile. "This is happy, if our love is reciprocated!"

Mama Ratih's shadow and speech at a glance appeared in his mind, "You will be betrothed, do not give your heart to anyone. Remember that, Shireen!"

Shireen stood up, "I love Mas Alka, Ma!"

Shireen shook her head. "I will try to get the blessing of my father, especially my mother!"

...----------------...

The next day, it happened to be Sunday. Alka before 7 am was already at Mama Lilis' house. Yeah, didn't want her kids to wake up and ask her where her dad is.

It turned out, when he had been greeted by the sullen face of his little girl.

"Raline, are you awake?" Alka approached her daughter who was standing at the door. The little girl ran towards the porch when she heard her father's motorbike.

"Dad, where were you last night? Why don't you pick us up?" his pedicab.

"Dad's got business, son."

"What business? You never go out at night, where do you go?"

"Your father went with Aunt Shireen, Raline!" lisa from behind.

"Lisa!" said Alka lirih.

"Is that true, Dad? Why not take me? It must be exciting if we go together again, like time to the mall."

Alka smiled at her daughter, "We will go together and one house too. Just pray!"

"Hore, I can mess with Aunt Iren!" Raline patted his hands cheerfully.

Lisa, who heard the father and son chat, smiled. "Hopefully succeed, brother!"

Alka turned to her sister and smiled.

"Raline, get your dad in. We'll have breakfast together. Auntie's gonna wake Varrel and Sean!" Lisa turned her body back inside the house.

They enjoyed breakfast together, after which Alka brought her children home. Mama Lilis will follow with Lisa.

Homework Alka had done before picking up her children.

At exactly 8 a.m., Alka headed to Shireen's laundry to take her dirty clothes but the woman was not there yet.

As soon as he arrived at the workshop, there were already many customers waiting in line. All three of the Alka employees looked busy.

Yes, the last 2 months the workshop is always crowded until they are very troubled. Alka also plans to buy land next to the workshop to expand its business and add more employees.

In the midst of his busy life, a woman came to fix his motorcycle. "Morning, Alka!"

The man who was repairing the other customer's motorbike, raised his head and stood up, "Roof up!"

"My motor seems to be in trouble, please help fix it, okay?"

"Surely, would you like to wait or be picked up?"

"Just pick it up" answered Laras.

"All right," said Alka. "I'll call you," he continued.

"All right," The barrel passed.

-

Alka deliberately today did not ask Shireen to deliver the side dish to her house because Mama Lilis would cook so she asked her lover to come to the workshop only.

With pleasure, Shireen delivered the side dishes and they would enjoy lunch together.

Shireen prepared a variety of side dishes and vegetables on the rice and then thrust the plate to Alka, "Here, Mas!"

"Thank you" Alka accepted it with a smile.

"Well, that's delicious!" Derry sat in front of his boss.

"You take it, I deliberately bring a lot because usually Mas Alka who buys you lunch," said Shireen.

"Yes, Mba." Derry eagerly took it.

"Now go!" said Alka slowly.

"Yes, Mas. I won't bother you, take it easy" said Derry, standing up and carrying Shireen's food.

Alka turned to her lover, "You didn't eat?"

"No, Mas. Still full," Shireen replied.

"Shireen, it's lunchtime. You said you're still full, what time is breakfast?"

Shireen smiled smirkingly, "Four ten."

"Do you often have breakfast at that time?"

"Not really, Mom. It was because it was busy."

"Now let's eat!" Alka pointed the spoon at Shireen's mouth.

"Mas, I don't want to!" reject it.

"Let's eat, if you're sick. Raline must be sad" said Alka.

"Aren't Mas Alka sad?"

"I would also be sad if something bad happened to you" he replied. "Now, open his mouth!" her word.

Shireen opened her mouth and Alka fed it.

"Any busy time to fill your stomach" said Alka.

"Yes, Mum."

After lunch, Shireen cleaned the food container. He stood up and was about to say goodbye, but a woman approached Alka and delayed her return.

"Is my bike done, Alka?"

"Already," point it towards the gray motor.

"How much is the bill?"

"Please pay him!" Alka pointed to her employee Rino.

"Alright," Laras walked over to Rino and paid him off.

Alka then turned her body looking Shireen still standing behind her. "Why haven't you come home yet?"

"I'm waiting for that woman to come home, Mas!" pointing Barrel.

Alka smiled, "You're jealous?"

"Idiih, Mas Alka's. Whatan, anyway?" Shireen was embarrassed.

Laras went back to Alka, "Thank you, yeah. We'll have another coffee sometime, do you want to?"

Alka glanced at the woman beside her with a pouting face, "No, I'm very busy!"

"Well, if you're not busy. We can chat again in the cafe," said Laras.

"Not really, you're a wife. I don't want to ruin your household" Alka said.

Laras chuckled, "My house has also been broken by your ex-wife!"

Shireen looked surprised then turned her gaze to Alka.

"Come on, sorry we can't continue the conversation anymore. I want to drive the future wife home," Alka held Shireen's hand gently and pulled her away from Laras.

Baras turned his body to look at Alka who was tightly grasping the woman's hand.

Alka turned on her engine and told Shireen to sit behind her. Shireen obeyed the orders of her lover.

Barrel pulled the corner of his lips.
