Saina's struggle with the dragon was as if it would not end. They were chasing around the mountains of death. Meanwhile, Aiden was checking Nora's condition is quite severe. His entire wing was charred and his body was badly injured. Nora was unconscious, but she seemed to have survived. If Aiden had been a little late to put out the fire in Nora's body, maybe the griffin had now turned to ashes.
Aiden looked up at the sky and found Sabina still busy flying in pursuit of the blue dragon while occasionally dodging his fireball attack. Aiden tried to think quickly. Sabina could not forever distract the dragon. They must find a way to subvert the giant creature.
Unfortunately, Aiden's magic attack could not penetrate the dragon's skin at all. Instead, he can actually be an easy target for the dragon. Suddenly, Aiden got an idea. He pulled out a glass ball containing a poisonous goldfish he was carrying. It seemed like now was the right time to use the thing.however, the dragon had to swallow this glass ball, which would poison it from the inside.
"Sabina!" aiden shouted and caught Sabina's attention.
The vampire girl heard Aiden's voice, but certainly could not immediately go to her lover. He could make the dragon attack the young man. Finally, with the only thought that came to mind, Sabina darted into one of the caves that hollowed out the mountain walls.
It was not a wise decision of course because such a narrow space would make the girl more susceptible to fireball attacks. But it seems he has no choice. Sabina swiftly flew down the hallways of the cave. The flying dragon followed him right behind Sabina. Every time the dragon threw out a fireball, Sabina immediately meandered around a nearby corner. The cave was like a labyrinth that trapped Sabina to keep circling and almost lost its way.
Luckily Sabina's sharp instinct finally managed to get the girl out of one of the cave's doors into the open air. The dragon who was now left deep in the labyrinthine passageway was still circling around looking for Sabina. Taking advantage of this narrow time, Sabina finally approached Aiden.
"What's wrong?" sabina asked as soon as she landed next to Aiden.
"We should use this, Sabina. This goldfish can poison the dragon" Aiden said as he showed a glass ball of poisonous goldfish.
"What's? How's it?" tanya Sabina observed the glass ball.
"You can lure him to launch an attack while I throw this ball into the dragon's mouth before the fireball appears" Aiden suggested.
"How can you approach the dragon without burning yourself?"
"I think I can do it if you lure the dragon out of the door of the cave at the bottom. Don't let the dragon fly, and I can hide behind the door, then come out at the right time to put this ball in his mouth" Aiden said at length.
It was clearly the most absurd suggestion Sabina had ever heard. "That's very dangerous Aiden. You could get killed!" sergeant Sabina is angry.
"That's the only way. Trust me," Aiden.
Suddenly a roar was heard from inside the cave. The dragon was almost out of its nest.
"We don't have much time, Sabina. Let's do it according to my idea" Aiden said later.
"But…"
Unfortunately, Aiden is absolutely indisputable. The young man had already run towards one of the cave doors that was below without letting Sabina continue her sentence. Sabina finally had to obey Aiden's proposal. With swiftness the girl darted to the door of the cave in question Aiden then began to attract the attention of the dragon with the sound of his cry who called out the dragon.
The rumbling sounds were getting closer. The dragon shadow that shot towards Sabina was immediately confirmed. Aiden was already preparing to throw the glass ball while waiting for the momentum. Finally after a while, the long-awaited time arrived.
"Now, Aiden!" sabina exclaimed while jumping flying.
The giant dragon choked in shock and then surged in shock to hit the cave wall. Fragments of large rocks on the side of the mountain also immediately collapsed due to the shock. Aiden barely managed to save himself, but Sabina quickly grabbed the young man flying upward avoiding the collapse of the rocks.
The effect of the poison seemed to work quickly because now the dragon was blazing violently. The dragon tried to get out of the cave limping and occasionally developed both wings, trying to fly. However, it seemed that the dragon's body was no longer strong enough to withstand the flow of poison in his body. After rolling several times on the ground, the dragon finally fluttered unconscious.
Sabina and Aiden landed slowly next to the dragon's body, trying to determine the condition of the giant creature.
"Is he dead?" ask Aiden to make sure.
"Looks not yet. Her breathing was still there," Sabina said pointing at the dragon's chest that was still moving up and down.
"Do we have to kill him or not?"
"He hurt Nora. The dragon must die. Miangase also gave you a sword to slay the dragon," furious Sabina.
Aiden looked worried. To be honest, he did not like killing any creature without the need. Moreover, the dragon has also been poisoned and unconscious. It would be unfair to stab the dragon's heart when it was in such a position.
"Why do you doubt?" sabina asked to break Aiden's daydream.
"I don't think we need to kill him, Sabina. I feel bad if I have to kill a helpless creature" Aiden replied later.
Sabina scrunched her forehead while snorting in disbelief. "What do you mean by helpless creatures? He's a dragon. A giant creature that could kill thousands of people in a single attack. Just because he was fainting was not worth his strength and his cruelty was gone. Get that sword. If you can't do it, let me kill this dragon," Sabina urged in annoyance.
"Wait, Sabina. This dragon actually did nothing bad. He's just trying to protect himself from immigrants like us. We didn't disturb the nest first" Aiden said, insisting.
"Didn't you see what he did to Nora?"
"The dragon was just defending itself."
"That's not the case…"
"I'm fine," suddenly a moaning sound rang out from a distance.
Sabina and Aiden turned to look at Nora who was moving slowly. The two immediately ran to Nora.
"Nora, how are you doing?" asked Sabina worried. The girl gathered at Nora's side and began to shed tears.
"I'm fine Sabina. My body can recover quickly. Don't worry" said Nora.
