Fire Breath

Fire Breath
Tree House

Miangase brings Sabina and Aiden into his tree house. The house was made by sticking to a giant tree that reached hundreds of meters high. The leaves are thick and the trunk thick into the foundation of a tree house built in a luxurious circular to a height that is difficult to see Sabina.

He and Aiden then entered the oval-shaped wooden door. Nora did not come with them and chose to sleep outside while observing Kerberos who had fainted. Behind the wooden door, a room with a circular staircase to the top greeted the two. Miangase guided his guests up to the top floor through a glittering wooden staircase.

They went up a long way, until Miangase opened another door and let them into a room with a window facing out. The room is lined with a beautiful light brown carpet, with matching colored sofa furniture and wooden tables. The glass window on the outside of the room shows a wide and beautiful view of the forest. It looks like the Miangase tree house was built on the tallest tree in the forest.

"Please sit anywhere" said Miangase, inviting his guests.

He then waved his hand while chanting a magic spell. The next second, a medium-sized teapot floated into the air, followed by three similarly ornate porcelain cups. The teapot floated in such a way and poured the steaming warm tea into the three cups. The porcelain cup, which had been filled with chamomile-flavored tea, flew in three different directions and landed in front of Sabina, Aiden and Miangase.

"How did you guys get here? It must be hard to get past those centaurs," asked Miangase kindly.

"Well, they are a little troublesome. But we were helped by Valerie coming in on time" Aiden replied as he sipped his chamomile tea.

"Valerie said you could give us a clue about the location of the silver bullet" Sabina said without further ado.

"Ah, so you're looking for silver bullet. Does it have anything to do with werewolves?" ask Miangase again.

Sabina seemed to be getting irritated because Miangase had always been talking in circles. Excessive hospitality and pleasantries do not match Sabina's. Miangase seemed to want to extract information from them before he would tell them about what he knew. Miangase seems like the one who is calculating.

"That's Miangase. The herd of werewolves in the eastern region behaved unnaturally. They got the magic stone power that allowed them to change even during the day" Aiden explained later.

Miangase looked rather surprised. "Is that possible?" ask Miangase.

"We've seen it ourselves. The magic stone they used came from my village, Woodlock in the north," Aiden explained.

"What is the name of the magic stone?" Miangase continued to pry information with his questions.

"Miangase, are you going to help us?" sergeant Sabina was impatient.

The witch realized Sabina's annoyance, then softened her tone.

"Ah, I'm sorry. There have been no guests to visit for a long time. I'm a little interested in your story. I'm sorry," said Miangase.

Sabina was silent and did not respond.

"Ah it's okay, Miangase. About that magic stone you asked, its name.." Aiden was about to tell Miangase, but Sabina immediately elbowed her ribs to make Aiden stop talking. Aiden patted slowly then glanced at Sabina who shook her head faintly at him.

"Good, no need to say it. You really looked like Valerie when I first met her, Sabina. He was suspicious of others. It's worth it that you're brothers" Miangase chuckled.

"I once roamed a distant land and heard rumors of silver bullet. Reportedly the object is on the eastern side of this continental hemisphere, where the Death Mountains are located. You must have known Mount Kohot which is the peak of the Mountains of Death. Go that way, there hidden a very famous treasure. Reportedly the silver bullet is also hidden there," explained Miangase at length.

"Mountains of Death? The area was long abandoned. No human lives there anymore because of the dry and cursed land," asked Aiden who seemed to know the place Miangase mentioned.

Miangase. "True, that's why your journey won't be easy. Before reaching that place, you still have to pass through the Forbidden Dark City east of this forest. Beware of the banshee in that town. After that you should continue east until you reach the Springs of Life and Death. Try to cross the spring without touching the water. Only then will the Death Mountains be seen from there. Follow the star's instructions to find the treasure's location" Miangase explained.

Sabina frowned confusedly. "Can't we just fly straight up those mountains?" tanyakanya.

"You can't do it. Because you have to go to both places before you go to the Mountains of Death" Miangase replied.

"Why?" ask Sabina.

"Because you need two important things to open the treasure. First, in the Forbidden Dark City, you must take the Banshee's lament and store it in a golden teapot. In the Springs of Life and Death, bring along a poisonous goldfish and put it in a container of sparkling water. Those two things will help you along the depths of the Death Mountain Range" Miangase said.

"Why does it sound so troublesome?" grouse Sabina.

Miangase chuckles. "I told you you were on a difficult journey. But that's all I can tell you. The rest, the success of the journey will depend on your creativity against all odds."

Aiden looked to take a deep breath. "Thank you Miangase. That information helped us a lot" Aiden said.

"You are Valerie's family, of course I have to help you guys," Miangase said with a friendly smile. "There's one more thing you need to bring."

Miangase then left the room, then returned a few moments later. He carried a sword in his hand, complete with a sheath made of pure gold encrusted with sparkling gemstones.

"Bring this. This is the Dragon Killing Sword," Miangase said as he handed the heavy sword to Aiden.

"Why should we bring this? I'm a vampire and Aiden's a witch. None of us have the ability to sword" Sabina said.

"Just bring. You'll need it later." Miangase looked insistent. Finally Aiden received the sword and sheathed it on his back.

"Thank you, Miangase," said Aiden. "And as for the name of the magic stone you asked earlier, it is the Ephestus Crystal," Aiden continued.

Suddenly Miangase's expression turned serious. He seemed surprised by the answer. "I hope you can find the silver bullet soon, Aiden. Before bad things happen because of that magic stone."
