Sabina's attack was ready to be launched, but in the last second, she realized that her attack might hit Aiden instead of injuring the banshee. Sabina resisted the attack at the right moment. He then swooped up, flying with both wings already expanded.
Sabina must figure out a way to attack the banshee without injuring Aiden. But the longer he weighs, the more lost Aiden's consciousness is swallowed by the banshee. Sabina gave a desperate snort, not a single solution came to her mind. Amidst her frustration, Sabina suddenly saw a flash of reddish light.
"Derisare Fiza!" the sound of Aiden's screams rang out from down there.
Sabina looked down with renewed hope. Aiden is alive! The young man looked paled from behind the banshee's body that was about to swallow him. With the cane Aiden repeated his spell. A blister of reddish light was seen emerging from the end of the stick, then attacking the banshee's body. Soon the red tendrils began to lengthen and twist back to tie the banshee that was flexible silk cloth. The banshee tried to escape, but Aiden's equally pliable red tendrils continued to spin the banshee.
Shortly thereafter, a deafening shrill sound was heard. The banshee used her voice skills to weaken Aiden who was attacking her. Aiden and Sabina suddenly closed their ears because of the painful hum. While holding on with one knee kissing the ground, Aiden still continued to hold onto his staff that was emitting red tendrils.
Sabina was no less resourceful. At full speed, he greeted the screaming banshee. Ignoring the pain in her head, Sabina kept nosediving, trying to attack the banshee. But unexpectedly, it turns out that his attack actually penetrated the body of the banshee. The faint silvery light on the banshee's body disguised the fact that her body was half transparent. Sabina could not touch him at all.
Aiden who saw that tried to shout called out to Sabina amid the banshee's shrill voice. Luckily, vampires' hearing senses are more sensitive than humans. Sabina immediately heard Aiden's screams then darted towards Aiden's half-conquered spot.
"Use this! Put that banshee in the teapot!" exclaims Aiden while throwing his teapot.
"How is it?!" Sabina shouted even louder, trying to beat the banshee shrill sound.
"I'm gonna tie this banshee's body. You can influence his mind to get into the teapot. After that I can seal it with a spell!" Aiden's orders.
Sabina does have a charm ability that can control the mind. But all this time he had only ever controlled the human mind. Throughout her life, for hundreds of years, Sabina had never tried to control the mind of any ghost.
"Can you?!" asked Sabina unsure.
"try it! Ghosts were once human too! Maybe!" aiden shouted impatiently. The young man had begun to feel tired to endure the pain of his head due to the incessant screeching of the banshee.
There is no harm in trying. Although the bet is his head that feels almost broken due to the sound of the banshee. Sabina darted next to the banshee. With all his effort, the girl began to concentrate on the mind of the banshee before her.
A flash of the image of a female human life flashed in Sabina's mind. Those are the memories of the banshee's life. Random images then appeared alternately on Sabina's head, revealing a young woman with brownish curls. The woman was visibly sobbing at the mouth of a plea well with tattered camping clothes and blisters all over her body.
Suddenly a large-bodied man with a scar on his face who smirked evilly looked at the girl. Sabina then heard the girl yell throwing a terrible curse at the man, and the next second, the brown-haired girl threw herself into the well.
The picture stops there. Sabina regained her senses from her trance, and found the banshee had stopped screaming. The banshee was now looking straight into Sabina's eyes. Its form is no longer terrible, but it is so beautiful with semi-transparent curls. Sabina realizes that her charm can affect the banshee. This is new knowledge for him. Besides humans, Sabina can also control spirits!
The young man was still tying the banshee's body with his red tendril spell. Sabina looked back at the female ghost who now looked like an ordinary human. How could he possibly put the girl in a teapot? Especially after he saw his sad past. Her empathy as a fellow woman seemed to hold Sabina to lock the sad spirit in a teapot.
"Sabin! Remember your main goal! We can save that banshee after it's all done!" Aiden shouted back.
The young man seemed to know Sabina's concern. Although a vampire, Sabina does have a soft heart and is easily affected by the suffering of others. Aiden must try to break Sabina's heart weakness.
"Sabin! Remember your family and the werewolves you had to defeat!" once again Aiden shouted in Sabina's favor.
Hearing the name of the werewolf called, Sabina immediately regained her consciousness. That's right Aiden said. He cannot lose the weakness of his heart. So, after apologizing inwardly to the banshee spirit, Sabina also uttered an order through her mind. The order immediately affected the bansheeyang and then flew gently to a small teapot that had been opened by Sabina.
As soon as the banshee's entire body entered the teapot, Sabina hurriedly closed the teapot back. Aiden on the other hand, immediately cast a seal spell towards that worn-out teapot. A golden glow flashed that worn-out teapot into the air. With a twisted motion, the golden light from Aiden's wand immediately encompassed the entire teapot and made the color of the teapot turn into brilliant gold.
After a few minutes, Aiden's seal spell was finished. The worn-out teapot had already turned into a very beautiful golden teapot. Sabina caught the teapot that fell from the air deftly.
"So this means keeping a lament in a golden teapot" Aiden commented as he walked closer to Sabina.
"It seems so," Sabina replied then returned to her human form. The black wings and claws disappeared.
"The spirit of this girl died tragically in the well of supplication. Before his death, he also uttered dangerous curses that eventually made his soul bound in this world and turned into a banshee" Sabina explained.
Aiden nodded in understanding.
"We need to talk about this to Roberta. Villagers must be happy because the well is no longer haunted by the banshee" Aiden said later. "By the way, you can control spirits too. The power of vampires is incredible" Aiden commented.
"I just found out now too. I had never been interested in controlling ghosts before. Even so, it feels more tiring when controlling spirits. The sad memory of his death was intense" Sabina said later.
"Thank you for working so hard, Sabina," Aiden said as he rubbed Sabina's head affectionately.
"You too," replied Sabina smiling warmly.
