Every weekend, Velvet will be home from the store at 11 p.m. Normally Norman would drive him home because Norman was helping out at the store until night.
"Yes!!! do you want me to buy you some food?" yelled Velvet from under the stairs.
"I can hear you, you little girl. Why do you like to scream!!?" cried Heidi from above her room.
"I imitate you. I'm just a plain girl before I work here" Velvet replied innocently.
Norman laughed softly at that. Working with Velvet made her life a little more colorful because Velvet was a cheerful and a little silly girl.
Before long, Heidi went down the stairs to the store.
"Where are you having dinner? We order online only. Norman, order us an online dinner!" heidi's orders.
"Okay, ma'am" replied Norman and immediately ordered food through his cell phone.
"If you have come, take my food up!", Heidi ordered again with her flat face as usual.
"Alright aunty," Velvet replied bowing respectfully in a position like the queen's maid.
"Ck, you're this!" heidi said and went straight to her room.
Norman only shook his head when Velvet deliberately teased Heidi.
Velvet has been working at Heidi's shop for 3 months and she enjoys her relaxing job.
"Uncle, may I ask you a question?" ask Norman Velvet.
"Hmm.", answered Norman briefly.
"Why didn't Aunty Heidi ever come out of her shop? And uncle looks rich enough to work on Heidi's aunty," Velvet said seriously.
"I owe a lot to his family first, so I'm just looking for activities in my spare time" Norman replied smiling.
"Huwaaaahhh, you're the best, uncle," said Velvet amazed by Norman's loyalty to Heidi.
"Madam Heidi hasn't really liked going out since the death of her husband and son, I hope you don't ask me this again. Although it's been a long time, he's still traumatized by this" Norman explained.
Velvet just nodded. He already thought about it. According to Velvet, Heidi is very good in her eyes despite always talking to her.
Half an hour later, their dinner order arrived. Velvet delivered Heidi's food to her room.
Velvet eats at the store with Norman. After that, Norman paused for a moment to buy something outside.
The clock has shown at 9, Norman has not returned to the minimarket.
Looks like some adult men get into the minimarket and buy canned beer and other drinks and cigarettes.
"Hey, pretty girl, so you work here?" francis asked at the cashier's table.
Velvet looked towards Francis.
"Hi", replied Velvet while eating her lollipop.
Damon appeared to be beside Francis and looked at Velvet sharply.
"You're underage, why work till night?" ask Damon.
"That's none of your business" Velvet replied, counting Francis and Damon's groceries.
"Let's wait up front, I'll pay for everything" Damon told Francis and Huxley.
"OK," Francis replied, but he still wanted to chat with Velvet.
Damon's eyes could not be separated from Velvet's face at all and made Velvet look back at him.
"What's wrong? is there dirt on my face? or do you like me?" ask Velvet to relax.
"Oh my God, this man is very handsome", inner Velvet but trying to be relaxed and normal.
"Did your parents let you work till night? did you finance them?" asked Damon.
Damon doesn't like to ask questions or talk to strangers. It is different with Velvet.
His annoying nature actually makes him want to get to know him more and seduce this teenage girl.
"Why? you want to finance my life? looks like you're a rich man" Velvet replied, then wrapped up Damon's groceries.
"You should be my mistress if you want me to finance your life" Damon smiled.
Velvet squinted her eyes and looked cynically at Damon.
