Tonight, Wiillow doesn't come home to Heidi's apartment because her father has just come from California and she has to accompany him in her own apartment'
"Where's Willow, Aunty?" ask Velvet who just came from the campus.
"Her father's coming, have you eaten, Vel?" ask Heidi.
"Already aunty. I had dinner with a friend of my college friends nearby" Velvet replied.
"When are you gonna change your weird hair color? My eyes hurt to see it" Heidi said.
Velvet laughed softly.
"I'm going to turn her into a blonde, what about aunty?" ask Velvet.
"Kc... Don't be like Vel. You're beautiful with your brown hair" Heidi replied.
"Oh yeah, I pierced my nose and lips, did you want to see?" Velvet.
"OH MY GOD... I'll hold you if you add more piercings. Come on honey, don't hurt your body" Heidi said.
"I just want to know what it's like" Velvet replied casually and walked into her room.
"If you add your piercings again, I will really hold you in my stables on the ranch" Heidi said with a shout of legend.
Velvet laughed at hearing that. Last month Velvet had a piercing in her ear and it was still understandable to Heidi. But now is Heidi's tolerance limit on Velvet so as not to add to her piercings again.
Before long, Velvet came out of her room again.
"I also pierced my deer, aunty," Velvet shouted from her bedroom door and immediately closed it again.
"VELVEEEEEETTTTT," cried Heidi from the living room.
The next day, Damon was working as usual. Damon was assigned to hold his core company in New York. Dillon in California.
Some of the branches are still run by Rey from afar with the help of Damon and Dillon as well as their assistant assistant. And that kept Damon and Dillon busy at the beginning taking care of the Rey family company because they had to travel abroad often.
Damon can't wait for the night because he will meet Velvet for the first time after 5 years of separation. No, almost 6 years to be exact.
At night, Heidi seemed busy in the kitchen. The newly arrived Velvet from the campus saw Heidi's bustle in the kitchen which she very rarely saw.
"Will there be a celebration?" ask Velvet.
"Hi honey, you've come apparently. Let's take a quick shower, there'll be guests in a minute" Heidi said.
"Who?" ask Velvet.
"Do I know him?" ask Velvet.
"He's my business relationship, let's hurry, don't be fussy" said Heidi, who was busy preparing her meals at her minimalist dining table.
"OK," Velvet replied and headed straight for her room.
Half an hour later, Heidi's apartment doorbell rang. And he went straight to the door to open it.
"Hello Damon, come on in, son, I'm sorry it's outside the company so I didn't call you sir. It doesn't matter, does it?" heidi said with a smile.
"No problem aunty," Damon replied smiling and relaxed to Heidi.
Damon then entered and Heidi sent him straight to the dining room because the food was ready.
"In the meantime, I'm gonna call that little girl, ah I mean Velvet," Heidi said.
Damon smiled and nodded. He waited propping up while looking towards the room where it was Velvet's room because Heidi called out to Velvet at the door.
"Honey's.. Did you sleep? Let's get out quick. We'll have dinner now" call Heidi.
"YESYAAAA... Waituuuuu," cried Velvet from within.
A scream that Damon inexplicably misses because Velvet used to yell at him.
Then Heidi went back to the dinner table and sat down next to Damon. A few minutes later, Velvet came out wearing only a short tight shirt that almost looks navel and hotpants from jeans.
"Oh God's. He was like he was going to play in that shirt" Heidi murmured softly and that was heard by Damon
Damon turned his head towards Velvet who was walking towards the dining table. Damon's distinctive smile is visible and his eyes collide with Velvet's eyes which suddenly stop his steps when he sees Damon.
"Hello, long time no see.. You still look rancid" Damon said with a slanted smile.
Velvet fell silent and still looked towards Damon.
"Hm. You too, your annoying smile still pisses me off" Velvet replied trying to relax even though her chest was actually beating fast.
Velvet continued her steps towards the dining table.
"Your hair is like a bubblegum-flavored gulali," continued Damon who saw the color of Velvet's blue hair.
And Damon's spontaneous speech made Heidi laugh. While Velvet looked annoyed at Damon who was always annoying in her eyes.
But Velvet would rather have a meeting like this than a dramatic, mellow one. It makes him more relaxed to face Damon who looks more mature and handsome of course.
