Galy and Damon know Rey. They know there must be a good reason why Rey decided. And they want to know what the reason is.

"May I know why Uncle told me to stay here?' ask Velvet.

"Uncle hear that your stepfather is leaving your house next week, you can't stay alone can you? And Uncle knows that your daddy's sick in England" Rey said.

Galy rubbed the back of Velvet's hand. It was reminiscent of her in the past when she was just a stick of kara in this world.

"Honey, aunty agrees with that. Stay here. You can visit your home anytime," Galy said.

"You guys are too good to me. I'm no one to you. And I'm not afraid I can't get back at him" Velvet replied with a bow.

Actually Velvet was very abstinent if anyone pitied her. He doesn't like that, because it makes him look weak. But Velvet couldn't hide her fragility in front of Galy.

Velvet feels comfortable being near Galy. His warm attitude reminded him of his mother.

"We're not asking for anything from you" Damon said.

"Dear, we didn't ask you anything in return. You've always thought of her as aunty's own daughter" said Galy, still holding Velvet's hand.

"Well, you have the right to refuse. But Uncle hopes you'll accept our offer" Rey said.

"Yes, thank you, uncle," Velvet replied.

After a long conversation, Velvet finally returned home. Damon drove Velvet home.

Upon arrival at home, Velvet went downstairs and opened her helmet. Then he gave Damon his helmet.

"Thank you" said Velvet.

Velvet turned and left but Damon held her hand and pulled her back.

"I hope you'll accept daddy's offer. I know my daddy very well. Daddy never made a decision without good reason" Damon said.

Damon saw the look on Velvet's face suddenly changed.

"Is there anything you want to tell me?" ask Damon.

Velvet was still silent and seemed to be thinking.

Velvet stepped closer to Damon and whispered something in Damon's ear.

"My stepfather, I feel like he's very suspicious" whispered Velvet.

Yes, Velvet kept a quiet eye on Roderick's movements. He did it because some time before his mother died, Roderick and Edith too often quarreled.

And the series of unusual events that Velvet saw on Edith. For example, when there were 2 burly men who came to his house and resigned Edith from her job when her career began to rise.

"Go to my bike, you're not going to sleep at your house tonight" Damon said.

"Are you crazy? What if he hurt you" Damon said seriously.

"He won't hurt me, because that's not the point. Even if he wants to hurt me, I will fight back," Velvet replied stubbornly.

"Then I'll stay here" Damon said.

"Trust me, I can take care of myself. I'll call you right away if anything happens to me" Velvet said.

"No, still not" replied Damon.

"Please" said Velvet.

"No" answered Damon.
