In the morning, Velvet was preparing for a driving course after yesterday was delayed.
Velvet went downstairs and headed straight to the dining room for breakfast.
"Mom, are you okay?" velvet asked Edith when she saw Edith looking dreamy.
"Mom," call Velvet again.
"Yes, honey, let's eat" Edith said.
"Where's uncle?" ask Velvet.
"He left early in the morning, there was business in his office" Edith said.
"Are you okay mom? you guys had a lot of fights this late," said Velvet trying to relax.
Velvet took her food and started eating her morning meal.
"Hmm, just a matter of course baby, let's eat quickly. Soon Mr. Berto will come to pick you up" said Edith.
"Hmm," said Velvet nodding.
Half an hour later, Velvet left with Mr. Berto to learn how to drive his car.
This time Velvet brought her own car because she was quite good at driving it.
Moreover, his car uses a matic transmission so he is very fast to master it.
"Maybe after 3 more meetings, you'll be able to bring your own car, miss," Berto said.
"Yes, thank you uncle" replied Velvet who was still focused on the road ahead.
Shortly after, Berto's phone rang.
"Hello" said Berto.
"WHAT???!" yell Berto in panic.
"All right, I'll be there soon," said Berto.
Berto then hung up his phone.
"What's uncle?" ask Velvet who then marginalized her car on the side of the road.
"Look, my wife fell down the stairs, I have to go now, you don't mind, do you? I'll take you home first" Berto said.
"No need uncle, uncle go first. My house is not 1 km from here. Go uncle" said Velvet.
"But I'm responsible for your safety, miss" Berto said.
"What's wrong uncle. I've been driving well enough. Go," replied Velvet.
"Alright then, thank you, lady. Again, I'm sorry" Berto said.
Then Berto left. Velvet immediately turned back towards her house. He drives a car with heart and moderate speed.
After 10 minutes, Velvet arrived at her home. Edith was seen receiving guests. And the guest is 2 men with a stocky body.
Velvet walks into his house and Edith signs him for Velvet to enter his room upstairs.
And Velvet complied. Until lunchtime came, Velvet got out of her room.
"Mommy doesn't work?" ask Velvet.
"No dear, mommy resigned" Edith said.
"Why? Is mommy tired of working?" ask Velvet and sit next to her mother.
"Yes, it's time for mommy to rest and take care of you completely at home" Edith said, embracing Velvet's shoulder.
"If there's anything you want mommy to tell me, tell me. I won't judge mommy anything" Velvet said.
"No dear, there is no problem whatsoever with mommy" replied Edith.
"Who were the 2 men mom?" ask Velvet.
"They're mommy's client's errand in the company. Just talking about work" replied Edith.
"Oh yeah, why were you just for a second?" edith asked to shift the topic.
"Lord Berto's wife was in an accident. So he decided to go home quickly, "Velvet replied.
"Oh God, I'll call him later. May his wife be well" said Edith.
"I hope so" said Velvet.
"Let's have lunch, baby," Edith asked.
"Oh yeah Mom, tomorrow night, Mommy Damon invited us to dinner at his house. Does mommy mind?" ask Velvet.
"Damon?" ask Edith.
"Hmm, the man who helped me yesterday" Velvet replied
"Oh, that handsome guy. All right, we'll be there tomorrow night. Are you guys dating?" edith asked as she prepared her lunch.
"Whattt??? Of course not," replied Velvet.
"He's quite attentive to you, honey. I think he likes you" Edith smiled.
"Come on mom.. Stop it," replied Velvet.
