After taking a shower and cleaning herself, Velvet went straight out of her room and headed for the dining room.
There Heidi had prepared their dinner which she ordered online. They finally had dinner together.
After dinner, Velvet and Heidi sat on the living room sofa. Then Heidi gave a paper to Velvet.
"Open up and read it" Heidi said.
"Did aunty give me an inheritance?" ask Velvet.
"You're too rich to accept my inheritance" Heidi replied.
Then Velvet opened the document. He read it carefully.
"Mr Rey took care of it, we want you to have a brilliant future, baby" Heidi said.
"Aunty thinks I should take it?" ask Velvet.
"Yes of course. If you don't go to college, I'm going to kick you out of here" Heidi replied in her trademark cynical tone.
Velvet laughed at that.
"Well, I'm going to accept this and go to college well" Velvet said.
Velvet will enter Columbia University starting next week. Velvet finally understood why Heidi told her to take the SAT and ACT exams before moving to New York.
"Sleep, tomorrow we'll start shopping for everything you need for college" Heidi said.
"May I ask you something?" ask Velvet.
"Hmm" Heidi replied.
"What exactly is aunty's job?" ask Velvet.
"I'm a CEO, because I'm replacing my dead husband. And Norman and my other assistants have always been faithful to help me even though I've always moved around" Heidi replied.
"Aunty's great" Velvet said.
"No, my great assistants. They are like my family who always accompany me when I'm down" replied Heidi.
"Goodnight, honey" Heidi replied.
Heidi is starting to accept the death of her husband and son now. So he decided to go back to New York and not run away from the happy memories of his small family.
Besides, it's because of Velvet too. He wants Velvet to come forward to live a better life.

"Damon, daddy told us to go to Russia and work for Alex's uncle before we got to work for daddy. What say?" ask Dillon.
"No problem, we'll be there in a few months after our graduation" Damon said.
"How's Velvet doing? Are you still not communicating?" ask Dillon.
Dillon already knew about Velvet and as Damon's twin brother, she knew Damon very well. Damon is a tough guy to fall in love with.
But Dillon feels Damon's attitude toward Velvet is very different because Damon never cared about a girl before.
Damon has always denied that his attitude towards Velvet was due to humanity alone where Velvet had gone through her life with some pretty tragic problems at a young age.
"Say daddy he's fine" Damon replied while still focusing on his laptop.
"You don't want to see him?" ask Dillon.
"I think he's comfortable with his life now. I don't even know where he is. But hearing the good news from the daddy has made me relieved. Maybe he still didn't want to be disturbed" Damon replied and left the couch behind Dillon.
Damon just doesn't want to discuss this any further. He will remember his guilt for Velvet leaving him home alone when the tragic incident happened.
Damon went into his room and went to the bathroom and washed his tired face. Damon looked at himself in the mirror.
He thought that Velvet might never have read the letter at all because Velvet never returned the letter. And somehow it made him disappointed in Velvet because Velvet didn't think of it at all.
