Because of the commotion, Velvet and the bully girls were given the punishment to clean all the rooms there. Velvet was on duty with one of the girls named Alesa.
They will spend the whole day together. Alesa and Velvet did not chat at all. They are busy with their work.
"When are you out of here?" ask Alesa at last.
They were taking a lunch break and eating sandwich bread by sitting on the sidelines together.
"11 months away" replied Velvet who was busy chewing her bread.
"If I'm going out next month, but I'm not happy, I'd rather be here" Alesa said.
"Then make trouble again so you can get in here again" replied Velvet.
Alesa laughed softly.
"But my grandmother needs me" said Alesa.
"What brings you in here?" ask Velvet.
"Prostitution is underage" replied Alesa.
Velvet looked at Alesa. He was still grateful that his life did not stray as far as Alesa.
"My grandmother's sick, she needs medical expenses. I quit school and went to work at a bar. My friend introduced me to that dark world. But at least I can finance my grandmother" continued Alesa.
"Are you coming out, you're going back to that world?" ask Velvet.
"Perhaps, if circumstances force me, I have no other way" Alesa said.
"Continue your schooling by taking the equality exam, then find the right job. It looks easy but I'm sure it's still difficult and you have a choice about your future, don't always blame the circumstances" Velvet said.
Alesa turned towards Velvet and smiled.
"Hmm, maybe I'll try. Thank you," Alesa replied.
Then they continued their work until finally before dinner time.
2 Months passed, Velvet had already started to open herself. Now he is friends with all the residents there including the officers.
Rey puts all her insurance money and the proceeds of the sale into Velvet's account. Velvet's lawyer asked Velvet what she wanted about the house. Will it be sold or taken back because Rey will take care of it. But Velvet wanted the house for sale because there were too many bitter memories.
Owen died a month ago and his family in England did not tell Velvet because they still consider Velvet to be Owen's illegitimate child. Rey and her family know this and still don't tell Velvet about it.
Damon always sends small meals and letters to Velvet. And Velvet always kept the letter after reading it. Likewise with Galy who often sends a lot of food to all residents there.
Damon has always strengthened Velvet and has never judged her. Velvet sometimes felt sad because she had to be separated from her loved ones.
Heidi once sent him food and it made Velvet cry all day because she remembered her memories with Heidi.
"Damon, are you going to England tomorrow?" ask Galy.
"Yes mom, Dillon will be there too, we will take care of our lecture together" Damon replied.
"How long have you been there?" ask Galy.
"Maybe a month," Damon replied as he ate his dinner.
"Mom, why isn't Velvet here again? Did you make trouble with him?" ask Phoenix.
"He's moving out of town, baby," Galy replied.
"Who's Velvet mom?" asked Thea who just got off her room.
"She's my boyfriend" Phoenix replied.
Damon who was sitting next to Phoenix immediately grabbed the head of his youngest brother.
"Kakaaaaaakkk," cried Phoenix annoyed.
"I see the scent of competition here" Thea laughed.
"Let's eat Thea. You're always late" Galy said.
Tonight, Rey's not having dinner at her mansion because she's having a business dinner with her relationship.
