Don't Say Love (BOOK 2)
Chapter 2

Legs frozen. His grip on the wheelchair's handle turned into a fist that slammed into his heart involuntarily. The woman felt her breath grow heavy. The words he had been afraid of sounded, today, where all his life had changed. From the mouth of the person he loves the most.

Slowly, the handle slipped off. He walked closer to the woman. He saw with both eyes a whirl of regret. The old face seemed to no longer shine as usual, like it had been a very long time that the woman had harbored all this.

Has this all been going on for a long time? When he was in ignorance ...

"Mother ..."

Ratih. His pale face looked so pitiful. His pair of eyes lit up, as if his current self was the weakest being in the world. The sadness seemed so obvious through his eyes.

"We can't stay here, Arnetta." His voice vibrates. It took her whole life to say the words she had long hidden. Ratih did not until the heart saw the princess only wayang, his most valuable treasure in the world worked hard desperately just to support the old woman who clearly no longer has hope to live. Arnetta has the right to choose his own way of life.

"Mother, no. .. we'll stay here." Arnetta almost blew up her own emotions. He did not expect if the woman who had been standing behind him said everything. The words he feared the most all along. Arnetta knows she can't go against her own mother's wishes. No one can make himself ignore the request of the woman he loves the most.

"I'm almost dead."

DEG

Arnetta stop. His breath choked as the pair of eyes simultaneously spoke to him about death. It was inconceivable to her how painful the nightmare shadow was to cross. Seeing this woman no longer in front of him, could no longer be held. Arnetta tried her hardest to cure her mother's illness. No matter how much self-esteem he had dropped all this time, no matter how painful this reality was. As long as he has his mother by his side, Arnetta won't need anything more.

His mother healed his wounds. If this woman is missing from her life, Arnetta believes she could go crazy. He could lose the will to live. Forever.

"No. I'm not gonna let you die, Mom. I'll do anything to prevent all that." Arnetta started sobbing. The woman also squatted in front of her mother. Letting the cries that finally flowed perfectly trailed them.

Ratih spread his hand to caress the princess. How persistent is the child who is now an adult. He knew the young woman who had now turned into a blossoming rose was fighting for her life. Arnetta fights desperately only to preserve the life of an old woman who knows how much longer her life will last.

But, Ratih could not torture the princess any longer. Arnetta has to get back on the road. Many have been abandoned by her daughter to do treatment for her. Here ... none of them are familiar and will help when it is difficult. Rivai has stopped financing for his cure. The man without telling first made them have to move until crossing to another country.

Arnett.

Ratih has to force Arnetta back. He knew what his daughter was doing right now was the wrong thing. As much as the woman covered the work she did every night, the truth was that Ratih had seen it all. He had to hold back the tears when he saw the princess had to peddle her body among the striped men who came to his place to work as a Host. Some looked down on the woman who had been born from her womb.

Ratih couldn't see him for longer.

"Trust me, Arnetta. We'll get back together. There I will be with you, my daughter. I'm sure we'll re-knit the thread that has been cut off by time. Forget that guy. Forget all the bitter memories that haunt us, son." Ratih stroked the top of the princess' head. In fact, being a garbage scavenger is more honorable than the work Arnetta now does. Coach likes that better.

"Mother ..."

"We'll be back."

Losing love doesn't make Arnetta crumble. He was so proud of his daughter. He was sure the princess had a better life after this. His prayers never broke for Arnetta. He believes his daughter's faith will be strong to see the man. Arnetta could definitely break the rope that connected her life with that depraved man.

"Forget, Jullian. Go on with your life, baby."

For five years he had struggled desperately to get rid of the painful feelings that plagued his heart. He tried his hardest to forget the feelings that grew because of the man. He always considered that the beautiful moment he had lived with the man was just a beautiful dream. Arnetta must wake up to accept the fact that a Jullian Basuki is not for him.

He realized what happened first was a knock from real nature to wake him up. From the beginning, their relationship was a mistake. The man should have been standing in the courtyard with Susi, and not with her. Their feelings fused together like his shadow was just an archer bow that had slammed into his heart.

Jullian never loved her.

That's how it ended up, and it should have happened. The man may be able to say the sweet taste with love, but if in the end what happens is a bitterness, it will only bring sorrow. And, Jullian would have never thought about the impact of it all.

Especially for a poor and innocent woman like an Arnetta.

Now that he could slowly forget everything, his mother asked him to return to the curse. Arnetta knew that if he came back, there was no way for him to escape. His heart would definitely side with Jullian again. The first love that will always stick though in the end the man prefers Susi, who stands above everything.

Arnetta fear. His feelings said that their return would bring bad things to his life. He would never be able to live quietly there. There are many shared memories of people who have hurt her, ruining her life unknowingly. In fact after years of trying to hate, hearing the word "home", Arnetta still felt her body tremble violently.

The woman turned her body sideways. He shook his head with his hands. I don't know what's keeping him here, Arnetta feels this foreign place is his home. It is no longer his home. Imagining himself setting foot there alone made Arnetta feel a second hell. I don't know what will happen when they get there.

Hell may have moved.

The shadow of Jullian's face that was still fixed in his mind became a creepy scourge. That is the door of hell that will welcome. The feeling of pain will whack, will always torture him. The fact that the man she loved was her own brother-in-law. An ex-lover who once filled the recesses of his heart, or perhaps still today belongs to the woman who still has a blood bond with him.

Yes, Arnetta loves Jullian, his sister-in-law to date.

How could his mother say she should forget him. Loving him alone has made him suffer for years, let alone forget him. Maybe it was his death.

"I still love him, God." He muttered unconsciously.

"So, that woman's going home in three days?"

In a magnificent room, it is seen someone sitting on one of the chairs behind the main table there. The room surrounded by circular bookshelves became an amazing sight that occurred there. A man who looks to be calling someone to complement the elegant atmosphere there. A typical heavy voice sounded so happy to hear what he had just heard from one of the sources that gave him important info.

A pair of dark eyes were increasingly dark when the figure who was on the phone there reported something other important to the man.

No one could guess what was on the man's mind. For sure, it was no good considering that the smile seemed so mysterious. When the phone call came to a halt, the man laughed loudly. Laughter is able to crush the fine hairs on the skin of anyone who hears it.

Jullian has been waiting for him. For five years, his plan to destroy the woman was finally accomplished. Now that woman can no longer escape. Sooner or later, the man will show Arnetta who will be destroyed in the end.

Yes, Jullian will have her destroyed until her life is no longer worth living.

"Arnetta, prepare to come to your place of torture, for I will move hell for you. This time you'll be ruined in my hands." He said with a sharp eye full of vengeance.
