Even until Sunday morning Alana was still upset because Ananta still did not send her a message at all. Arkan also did not answer dozens of messages containing questions in his head about Ananta.
With determination, he finally chose to go home. Leaving behind two boys who still kept something secret from him.
Early in the morning Alana received a message from her again about the schedule of drama club activities today. Alana did not reply, even just read through the notification that appeared.
He was a little annoyed at her not telling him anything about Ananta. Therefore Alana still does not want to talk to arkan. Moreover, Ananta whom he still could not meet made him even more annoyed.
"Well, if you don't want to see me. I won't make you Ta." she said on a mobile phone screen that showed her message to Ananta that none read. I don't know where the man who is usually always nearby went.
Alana snorted annoyedly feeling frustrated because of Ananta's attitude that seemed to run away from her. Usually when this happens, it means Ananta has made a mistake or is in a bad condition. And Alana hopes that what happened is not a second possibility. He picked up the phone again and called his father.
"Dad. Ananta is okay, right?" Alana asked with a feeling of worry. His worry was slightly lessened when his father explained with little detail that the last check with Ananta was good and there was nothing to worry about. In this case, Ananta must have stayed away for the first reason right, thought Alana who was more to calm her own heart.
Alana let out a long sigh before packing up a set of clothes in her little bag. He took a shower and got ready for Sunday morning. Went away from Ananta who was also away from him.
Alana thought, by going home she would be a little calmer and could think about what she would do to Ananta later. Well after his head was cold, he would decide on a way to deal with Ananta again. Now he needs to calm down, break it.
Alana came home by bus, a long journey. Alana left early in the morning because her feelings were constantly raging, making her want to go home immediately to find peace even if only briefly.
Arriving home, his father stared in shock because Alana did not tell him at all that she was going home. From her phone this morning Alana only asked Ananta's condition. Another case with the mother who greeted him with a bright smile, hugged him for a while before taking him to sit in the dining room. Her mother looks happy because on a day that is not as busy as usual, she will be accompanied by her favorite child who rarely goes home.
It had only been a few months to move into the dorm but it felt like he had already missed his daughter so much. Since being close to Ananta, the two rarely have time together. Alana is closer to her father than her mother.
"Tumben came home" said the father who was still astonished.
"Why... Can Alana go home?" Alana said slightly raised her tone, unable to cover her bad mood for a while before smiling back at her mother.
"Don't that father... I miss Alana..." The mother replied gently, she had prepared a lot of food on the table. Alana gets home at breakfast, right after her mother finishes cooking.
"Other times you have to go home often, it's every Sunday off. You can get out of the dorm." The mother again gave her full attention to Alana. His deft hand picked up rice for the only daughter.
"Yes..." Alana answered obediently taking a rice plate from her mother.
"Oh yeah, Alana... Yesterday I saw you didn't go to the hospital?" Said the father casually while chewing his food. Alana who knew nothing frowned hearing that.
"Hmm? the infirmary?. What's up, dad?"
"That's your friend Ananta, who met in the hospital a lot, he died." Answer the father in a low tone in the last sentence. Bad news though it is said that any number of times always creates a somber atmosphere afterwards. Hence he lowered his voice so as not to spoil the pleasant atmosphere created just now.
"Alana's friend?" Alana asked again had not found who her father meant. There were not many children he had met in the hospital. But still many people and the possibility that can happen. Alana wishes she wasn't the one who popped into her head at the moment.
"Yes... But closer to Ananta, anyway." Alana's eyes widened to hear Ananta's name. His mind had imagined many things ahead of his father's explanation.
"His name is Fio, used to talk often and close to Ananta. They were also treated in the same room." Alana's eyes widened again after hearing her father mention the name of the woman he had just met a few weeks ago. When I met the girl, it looked fine.
He's the third guy... The person she thought was so valuable to Ananta that it often made her jealous, even since they were little. His thoughts led Alana to guess about the cause of Ananta could not be found lately. He had guessed that this sad news contributed to making Ananta stay away from him these few days.
"Yesterday Ananta went to the hospital, accompanied the family until Fio was sent home. I think you already know" continued Alana's father observing the look on his son's face which now looks surprised. His forehead shriveled like he was thinking hard. Did he say something that Alana shouldn't have heard? His mind began to wonder.
"Mother, Alana is not a vacation at home... Alana wants to go back to the dormitory again" said Alana hurriedly, after being silent for a while, now her hands are busy preparing rice to her mouth. Trying as quickly as possible to finish the rice on his plate before taking a new bag a moment ago he put it on the chair.
"Why Alana. Kok Panik" asked his father curious about Alana's strange response which hurriedly packed her things again. He was afraid of Alana's attitude so because bad things were happening.
"Ananta.. I have to see Ananta today" Panik Alana did not answer a question from her father. Alana immediately said goodbye to her father and mother after finishing breakfast.
"Alana darling..." Call the mother to arrest Alana before leaving her house.
"If there's any story with mommy yeah..." The mother looked at Alana meaningfully. He looked at the same little boy as Alana a few years ago. The worry in her chest was still the same, Alana was still the little boy she never stopped worrying about.
"Yes, later Alana's phone" replied Alana hurriedly throwing a brief smile before turning away and making the long journey once again to find Ananta.
