Alana's POV
After that day, everything went on as usual.
Since SD to SMP we are in the same class, the same bench. Even a random system of classes could not separate us both.
Hmm, I told you before.I and Ananta are destiny, but Ananta often mocked me and thought I was better.
"Hi" Sapaku, embrace Ananta from behind. We are 3rd grade Junior High now, time passes quickly when we are fine. Even when all the bad things happen, they go too slow.
"You're going part!" I grumbled that I had to get up early for him.
Because we always left together, so I took pains to follow Ananta's morning schedule. After such painstaking effort, I was still left to leave first today.
"I'm sorry, I was told to go to the teacher's office this morning." He answered gently rubbing my head.
"You don't have to leave in the morning if you're still sleepy." His words are still stroking my hair. My eyes are still half open, my life has not been collected all. ah, I hate waking up early.
I finally yawned holding back the sleepiness.
"Where there is Ananta, there must be alana." I said with my hands clenched.
We looked at each other for a while, then laughed together.
"Your face is a mess." said Ananta mocking me.
"That's all because of you" I replied. During Junior High it felt like I was fighting more to be with Ananta all the time. Sometimes Ananta does the same thing.
If Ananta's in a special class, I'm waiting for him to come home together. If I have an exkul, Ananta is waiting for me. But Ananta's special classes were always much more frequent. Especially lately, I don't know why they study so hard, it sucks. Even after all that schedule, early in the morning was still sent to the teacher's room as well.huft, so I was forced to wait in front of the room. alone!
"Why said?" I was curious when he came out of the teacher room.
Coming to a teacher's room like this her choice was only two, overachieving or too troubled. From what I know, Ananta was included in the first choice.
"I was asked to come to the Olympics again." He said with a disappointed look.
'Basic, a strange genius kid' he should be happy to get the trophy once again.
"hummm, smart boy. They must have lost you after we graduated" said I stroked her hair like mothers who boast of their children. Just acting, teasing Ananta is so much fun.
"But why it's so moody, it's good news" I said a little annoyed at the look on his face that didn't match the news he gave. A smart kid like him must not know how jealous people like me hear him complain.
"that's not the case. If I was in the Olympics, I would be busy. So there's no time to bother you." he sneered. Well, it's also true that every time there is an Olympics I will be far more isolated from the group of smart children who are too diligent to learn.
"Yes, but you even said that. eventually still come" I replied. Despite his gloom, Ananta has never missed an Olympic trophy to take home. Except. if she's very sick.
"yes, anyway." He said while laughing a little.
"thank you I can still make a proud alma mater until the last year here. It is spirit." I said, raising his hand in the air. She just smiled a little as she watched me wiggle her limp hands in a slow waving motion.
After hearing the sad news, we returned to class. Unlike when we just arrived at school, classes are crowded. My classmates were chatting with each other. Even though when new until still no one in school.
Even so, none of them asked me to speak. I don't care about that myself. I'm also lazy to respond to the things they talk about. Sometimes their topics make no sense to me. Ananta is always more interesting.
"Where will school go??? Play yuk" Invite me enthusiastically, trying to get the slacker out of two places to lock himself in. Homes, and hospitals, although sometimes schools too.
"Just sat down and talked about going home from school. Learn there" he said starting advice that's 'like an adult'.
"Ananta is right alana. You should focus more on learning. You guys are a day always tacky, turn value aja far distance." Said a teacher who had been in our classroom since when, even in our chat.
I can only smile clumsily.
"Ananta, teach alana to learn, so as not to be able to catch you, not to remidi." Advice again. Sentences that I have often heard.I and Ananta are like stepchildren and biological children for teachers at school, treated differently even though they are often together.
"Ready mom, I'm working on it." Ananta replied with a proud smile.
No matter to me who was staring annoyedly at him. His smile was like confirming that I was a stupid kid, not like a class champion. Well, even though I'm not completely stupid actually, I also have advantages. Unfortunately, my strengths are not in the academic field, so I cannot be proud of him.
...***...
I'm not good at academics, just physical activities that I can do well. And running is one of the skills I can show Ananta. Although I never really show off either. Because he never saw me run.
"Well... Huh... The training will be very long, you go home first." I said with a broken breath. Ananta came up to me in training, he was done first but I still had to practice five more rounds.
"OK" he said briefly, then left. I just stared at his back that was moving away from me.
"Haish, Ananta should be waiting. You're not sensitive!" I was upset when I saw Ananta walking excitedly away from the field.
I returned to training in a bad mood. Surprisingly, the upset me just ran better. Running while being upset turns out there are benefits as well.
I finished 5 rounds faster than usual. Once the target is reached I immediately say goodbye to the coach to go home first. I hurriedly downed the water and changed my clothes so I could go home and rest.
My activities still took quite a long time as well, because I still had to silence my legs for a while so as not to cramp.
'Luckily I told Ananta to come home first' I thought. Otherwise, he would have been bored waiting for me that long.
YO!! As soon as I reached the classroom hall, a bottle of cold drinking water was smashed onto my head.
"Old!" That bass voice blew my daydream, a familiar voice. She didn't come home??
"Cock here." I asked spontaneously
"You haven't come home yet." Answer origin. I'm flattered.
So 2 hours ago?? That long he's been waiting here??
Immediately I regretted scolding him (although he did not hear it directly).
"Oh.." By reflex I muttered softly. Like I was insensitive all this time. The last time he told me about the things he hated was when we were kids. He said Ananta hated running, because he could not do it because of the illness he had. He wanted to try, but he really couldn't. So he chose not to see at all, so that he would not be complacent to do so.
As I felt guilty, she definitely did not like to see me running even though she never said it straight away.
Therefore he came out and waited for me in the Corridor and even still wanted to wait for me to finish training.
"Ananta" I swallowed, Ananta kept walking in his temple.
"Hmm?" Answer with a murmur.
My hand was holding his shirt from behind.
"I'm sorry, I just remembered" I said withstanding the emotion that was stirring in front of him.
"basic.. Why the hell?" Ananta turned to face me then pulled my head to look at him.
Just by looking into my eyes, he understood it.
She looked at me with her sweetest smile today. Staring at me fixedly.
"I know you like to run, and if you like, I like it too" he said. My heart is calmer to hear it. Either way, his short words always managed to make me smile in a strange way.
"Sorry" I said again, I still feel bad.
"It's okay. Come home. I'm hungry." I smiled at him looking for another topic. Ananta.
"Come on!" Reply spirit.
"Tomorrow don't wait for me to practice" I said.
"If not, I'm kicked out" I continue to nosy.
"when I want to see you dry." I looked at him with suspicious narrowed eyes. Since when did Ananta think of such things? I glared at him furiously.
"No, no" he said wrongly.
"Udah ah, let's eat." He took my hand and pulled me to walk faster. The day ended with him treating me to eat my favorite food which totals almost 3 servings.
