06. Playing in the Human World

The sun shows itself above the sky. Hina began to move her head to turn her head after a night just lying stiff on the bed without being able to fall asleep. Hina is afraid if Shun comes to a dream to try to bite her neck again.

Door opened. Hina suddenly woke up to see Yuki standing at the door of the room with a gloomy face.

"Hina, you want breakfast?" tanyakanya. "I want the egg you made at the time."

Do vampires eat eggs?

Seeing Yuki's sad face made Hina suspect that the child was just trying to comfort her by pretending to be interested in eating an omelet.

"Alright if you don't want to," he concluded bowed softly while closing the door.

Silence is created. Hina ruffled her frustrated hair on the bed. Although still afraid, he felt guilty for already making Yuki sad like that. Hina could not bear to have eliminated the series on Yuki's face.

Hina was now just standing in front of the door of a room. He took a breath and took it out, trying to shake off the fear of vampires.

Yuki won't bite me!

He knocked the door a few times until Yuki opened it. The child was still downcast, not daring to see the alleged Hina still afraid of him.

"Yuki, did you promise not to bite me?" ask Hina. Yuki's head slowly lifted, returning Hina's gaze through her blue bead.

"If you don't bite me, I'll make eggs like that" he continued stroking his nape.

Yuki reviewed a wide smile. "really? If I don't bite you, won't you be afraid of me anymore?"

"I'm not really afraid of you. I'm just.." Fear your father.

"Come, Hina. Let's eat!" invite Yuki cheerfully to hold Hina's hand.

They both went to the kitchen. Hina became more careful to cut food so as not to be sliced and potentially cause injuries let alone bleed.

"Oh, yes. I heard that vampires are afraid of onions" he muttered and turned towards Yuki who was looking at him while smiling. "Are you afraid of onions?"

"No," he said. "I'm not afraid of anything."

"really?" Hina tilted her head while thinking.

So what are the weaknesses of vampires today?

"Vampires are just thirsty, that's their weakness. If there is no blood, they will feel crazy and may even die if they do not drink for a long time" Yuki explained, making Hina round her eyes in disbelief.

"Where do you know all that? Did your father tell you everything?"

The boy's head shook. "That's just my estimate. I'm not afraid of onions either."

"Ah, so."

After making breakfast, the two of them ate together. Hina observes Yuki eating eggs voraciously even with her vegetables that Hina deliberately put as decorations.

"I think vampires just love blood, not food like this" Hina said as she began to eat.

"I like food like this, not just blood. My stomach isn't always thirsty. I also need to eat," Yuki replied making Hina look at him anxiously.

"Mh, I heard from the movies or myths that circulate that vampires are hundreds of years old because they are immortal. So... How old are you, Yuki?"

"Poor? How do I know?" tanyanya polo's.

"Counted from the first year you were born."

"I can't count," he said, leaving Hina shocked to get the facts.

"Did your father not teach you?" ask Hina carefully.

"No," Yuki replied with a small sigh. "I can't learn anything, Hina. I want to go to school too."

Hina grimaced in horror at imagining it. He wondered, what has Shun done in educating Yuki? This child seemed to be left alone, even Hina remembered the first time she met, Yuki was like a boy who was not taken care of at all by his parents.

"No. I don't meet anyone here but you and Dad."

"Do you want to take a walk to see the situation outside this house? But it might take us a long time to get through the streets to the city. I can't order a cab."

"Dad had two cars" Yuki told her.

Is this the right decision?

Hina felt bad while driving Shun's car without his permission because the man did not come home after last night went out of nowhere.

On the other hand, Yuki looks enthusiastic staring to and fro at the scenery he just saw. all this time he only saw the forest because he never knew what the situation outside his house was like.

"Hina, is it all a man's house?" point Yuki towards the several houses they passed by.

"Whoah!" Yuki sounded amazed glancing at the face on the window glass to create dew from his nose and mouth.

"Yuki, if you meet a lot of people, will you... You know what I mean? You smell human scent, maybe occasionally it can make you thirsty and attack them? I'm sorry I asked you this."

Yuki sat back down and turned to Hina. "I don't like human blood. I just want animal blood."

"Really, right?" Hina mangosteen understands and feels satisfied.

They also arrived at their destination. Hina invites Yuki to take a walk in a park with a meadow filled with several people sitting and chatting there.

"Hina, what is this place?" asked Yuki enthusiastically. His eyes sparkled with admiration.

"It's park. We usually go for a walk or play here" Hina replied. "You want some ice cream?"

"Es cream? What'sthat?" yuki's asking right doesn't know anything.

Hina also holds Yuki's hand to continue with her. He buys the boy an ice cream that makes Yuki almost want to drop him because he feels strange hands exposed to cold.

"You can eat this," Hina said as she fed Yuki carefully.

They both went back on their journey. After coming from the park, Hina plans to take Yuki to an amusement park that is usually also visited by many children.

"Whoah! Hina, it's spinning. Can I go up too?" point Yuki at the swivel comedy he sees.

"of course. You can ride all the rides here."

"really?"

Hina nodded. He also accompanied Yuki to ride some rides there. The child is very active and curious, especially this is the first time he mingles with human life and knows what is in it.

Not far from there, in a quiet corner of the human crowd, someone was standing observing one by one the humans he was about to target. But in the middle of his plan, he smelled a strong scent that made the fur on his wrist stand up.

"A lot stronger!" he muttered then observed the situation, looking for the owner of a taste so strong that it made him alert like this.

Now, his eyes were fixed on Yuki who was walking hand in hand with Hina. The mysterious man continued to sniff his smell as he came closer. Next to her hand was about to reach something, and it was realized by Yuki who was now looking at her.

Brakk!

The man suddenly crashed far away until he hit a toy booth. Some people began to panic because of the state of the man who had suddenly been thrown so hard there.

"Damn it! He's so strong!" his his hisses tried to get up while continuing to look at Yuki's departure with Hina.

"What's wrong?" hina asked, noticing that Yuki kept looking back as if she was confirming something.

"No. I want to play another ride, Hina."

"alright. We'll ride one more ride. After this we have to go home."
