13. Astonishing Offer

"Look at that guy. She didn't even carry anything in her hands," Hina's lips muttered to herself staring dislikely at Shun's back who was walking leisurely in front of her.

While Shun walked along without any burden, Hina was holding a sleeping Yuki and some dolls and food that had been purchased at the amusement park.

"He really sucks! If I don't need the money"

"What are you talking about?" shun asked, pausing for a moment.

"No. Just keep going" said Hina.

Shun returned to his feet. He saw some people walking beside him. They seem to be very happy with their partners and families.

Until finally Shun's eyes lead to a man who was holding his sleeping son with one hand holding the wife gently. Shun observed that until his head turned around.

"Why is your road so slow?" cetus Shun made Hina dumbfounded to hear it.

"Mr Shun, excuse me. Don't you see?"

Shun looked at Yuki who was asleep on Hina's shoulder so comfortably while being carried. Suddenly his thoughts led to the shadow of the little family earlier.

"That's it. I'm tired now, want to go home soon," concluded Hina about to walk past Shun.

"You're slow!" cibir Shun took over Yuki's body from Hina just like that.

Hina's two-eye reflexes are perfectly rounded. Shun doesn't usually want to touch Yuki like he does now.

What's wrong with her?

"You just carry it," Shun said pointing at the luggage in Hina's hand with his chin.

Hina was still unmoved with an unexpected look. "Someone Takeda Shunji wants to carry his child? Something was strange, " thought Hina.

"Why are you silent? You want us to stay here until late at night?"

Hina blinked, disperse the reverie. "W-what?"

Shun clucked then walked towards Hina. He took his hand to hold without warning. Unbeknownst to them, Yuki, who had laid her head on Shun's broad shoulder, now reviewed a faint smile and returned to pretend to be asleep, not wanting to disturb Shun's relationship with Hina.

They also arrived home.

For the first time, Shun carefully rests Yuki's small body on the bed. Hina watched him from the doorway, afraid that the man would throw Yuki's body just like that.

"Mr Shun, has anything happened to you....today?" hina asked as Shun was about to head for the door.

"No," she replied briefly, passing through Hina's body just like that. The door to Yuki's room was carefully pressed so as not to cause a sound that woke the child.

"Have your wounds healed completely?" tanya Shun stopped walking.

Hina who wants to go into the room was closed. "Looks, yeah. I don't feel pain anymore."

"I'm sorry for letting you carry the kid" he said.

Hina blinked. "Y-yes?"

"If you can't do something, you just say it. I can still hear" Shun continued, walking away.

Hina hugged herself who was goosebumps after seeing Shun's strange demeanor just now.

The weirdness continues. When Hina was about to go to the kitchen to get a drink, she saw Shun cooking. The man served a wide variety of food on the table which made Hina open her two mouths in disbelief.

"Did you see Yuki?" ask Hina as she approaches the man.

"He was playing ball outside" Shun replied presenting his last homemade meal. "Sit. You have to have breakfast."

I'm human, I have to eat breakfast.

Hina sat carefully in the chair. He could not resist the delicious-looking cuisine before his eyes. But the breakfast activity made Hina chewing uncomfortable. She did not expect Shun to eat breakfast with her because Hina thought vampires only suck human blood, not eat foods like vegetables and meat.

"Alright," Shun said after seeing the food on Hina's plate run out. The man threw a serious look at her.

"Do you want to be Yuki's mother?"

Instantly Hina choked until she coughed.

"W-WHAT?!"

Hina was still sitting on the front sofa, thinking about Shun's question.

Whatdoes thatmean?

Did he propose to me?

"Who proposed to you, Hina?" asked Yuki who was standing next to him after picking up a car toy near Hina's feet.

"A-ah, it's nobody."

"What Dad? He proposed to you?"

"What?" Hina was shocked to stutter. "Nope-no. I just..just..."

"I heard that when Dad asked you to be my mom. Don't you want to?"

Hina blinked, trying to clear her mind. "Bu-not that's what it means. Might as well... There's a little misunderstanding. Your father asked me to take care of you just like a mother takes care of her child. My job is a nanny, so she's giving me 'warnings' to take care of you more like a mother."

"I don't understand," Yuki quipped in confusion. "But I know when two people have the same love. I felt it in my mother's stomach. I feel the love of my mom and dad."

Hina who is now confused.

"But I'm glad you're my mother, Hina. You two are both good. Mother loves me. You love me too, don't you, Hina?"

"Te-of course," replied Hina who made Yuki climb onto the sofa to give a hug from the side.

"Thank you, Hina. I haven't heard anyone sing to me in a long time."

Ah, this makes me weird.

Being hugged by a small child who actually has a hundred years of age makes Hina wonder at herself with her feelings.

"Hina, do you want to see something?" bargain Yuki after taking off her embrace.

"See what?"

"Close your eyes for a moment and then imagine a place or something you want to go to" Yuki said.

"What to?"

"Come, hurry! I want to show you something," urged Yuki to make Hina close her eyes.

"OK...? Then what else?" ask Hina.

"You've thought of something? I wish it was a beautiful place so I could go with you there."

That beautiful?

Hina had always wanted to go to calm down in such a vast place with a view of the star-studded night sky, there were mountains and blue-lighted lakes stretching out, as well as streets with green grass and some flowers. Around it are fireflies.

Ah, it's quiet if that happens.

"You can open your eyes, Hina."

Hina opened her eyes slowly. He was greeted by glowing fireflies lighting up around.

The admiration is not there. Hina actually saw everything that was in her mind earlier. Both of his mouth gaping wide, not expecting if he really was in that place by just closing his eyes.

"Why can?" ask Hina.

Yuki held Hina's hand while enjoying the surrounding scenery.

"Is this what you think?" asked Yuki with her adorable grin. "I can take you anywhere you want. Just so you imagine and think about it."

"Yuki, how much power are you really?" tanya Hina cast a look of admiration. "I never knew vampires could do this."

"My strength is so much. I can take care of you with my own strength, Hina."

Hina ruffled Yuki's hair in a fit of anxiety. "You're this. Don't show your power to anyone other than me. Okay well? You have to take care of yourself from others. You promise?"

Yuki nodded steadily. "I promise, Hina. Let's go for a walk!"

"alright. It's gonna be so much fun."
