The Escapades
Episode 46's

After slaughtering nearly half of them the Riander shouted to give the order.

“That's enough,” said Riander and they all stopped.

After they slaughtered many little spirits, they began to feel hungry. Especially Heaven, he felt that his legs were not even able to hold his weight anymore.

He dropped his body to the ground and lay down with a gasp of breath.

   “I'm hungry,” he said as he lay with a tired body.

Paula sat beside him and immediately sneered, “Huh, you are always hungry, right?”

Bella sat down near them and took out the supplies brought by the Lizardman clan earlier.

   “Everything, let's eat!” call Bella to the others.

They then gathered and sat down to eat as they all also began to feel their stomachs rumbling, no one knew if it was noon, afternoon, evening, or night because the forest was so dark as if there was a protective dome blocking the sunlight from entering.

   “Hey, don't seize mine!”

Heaven turned his head while biting his food. “What? There is no name here,” he said casually as he looked at Paula beside him.

Paula frowned, she did not want to argue for now, so she took another steamed bun and directly ate it viciously as her eyes saw the bread as Heaven, while Heaven and Hero who saw it felt shudder.

   “Master, how are you doing?” riander asked the man they had freed from the rock.

   “It's been better, thank you,” said,

“This ... what fruit is this?” He pointed at the fruit with a bright orange color that had a distinctive fragrant smell.

   “We get a small gift from a new friend we met on the trip, they call it the fruit of nobilis tree.”

The explanation from Riander made the man choke and cough a few times as the fruit had just entered his mouth.

He then turned to look at Riander in surprise and asked in a rather high tone, “You said what just now?”

The man daydreamed for a while, his eyes looked at the nobilis fruit in disbelief before then asking again. “This ... island skull?”

Riander nodded as he said, “True,” with a confused expression.

They all looked at the man in confusion. What's wrong with her? Was his brain damaged from being confined to a stone wall and stuck like a lizard there for too long?

   “It ... Your name, what's your name, uncle?”

Paula pinched her upper arm with her eyes whizzing as she said softly,

“Basic is impolite?”

   “True, it's a bit strange if we keep calling you by the designation Mr.” added Riander.

The man downed the water before he replied in a hoarse voice, “David.”

   “OK, Uncle David, may I ask?” Heaven glanced at Paula and tried as decently as he could.

David did not say anything but simply nodded in response.

   “Why are you locked up in there? Are you trapped or is there someone who purposely imprisoned you on that wall?” ask Heaven again seriously.

He became shudder again as he thought of the moment they first saw David.

But who is so cruel as to be able to deliver such a cruel punishment in such a cold and sinister place like this?

The upper part of his body was left wearing nothing and felt a very piercing cold, while the lower part of his body had to be clamped and buried between cliffs and rocks.

   “You're right.”

Heaven regained his senses and turned to David opposite him, sitting next to Riander. David sighed for a while before continuing his words.

   “There's someone who purposely locked me up here.” There was a flash of light in his eyes and a thick murderous aura suddenly oozed out from his body.

   “He is a scoundrel, a traitor, and a very cruel devil! He's a total jerk!” he said coldly.

Heaven could feel an increasingly piercing chill in his heart as he looked at the fury that flashed from David's eyes. His still messy hair further added to the horror on his hard and cruel face.

No one spoke for a few seconds and the atmosphere became silent instantly, there was only a breeze of cold wind that made them shiver.

When David realized what he had just said, he was stunned. He looked at them one by one before laughing. “Forget that,” he said after his laughter stopped.

   “I'm really grateful that you guys helped release me,” he said sincerely. His eyes then fell on Heaven and stopped there for a while.

Hero narrowed his eyes when he saw this, he knew there was something but was uncertain what it was. To be sure the man had no ill intentions on Heaven, no negative energy emanating from his body, instead there was only warm energy when he looked at Heaven. It was very different when he saw the others.

   “Who is your name?” he asked Heaven after a long time looking at him.

   “Heaven.”

   “Who are your parents?”

Heaven coughed, he choked because he was still eating when David threw out his question again.

   “Uhuk-uhuk, what are you asking for?” Instead of answering, Heaven instead threw another question at David. He learned that from Wira.

   “Jawab only, boy,” he said as he narrowed his eyes in annoyance.

He didn't like how the boy behaved towards him, he used to be the mighty god of storm warfare, even though he was still in a very bad state he could still destroy a city with its inhabitants at once!

But then David smiled, his manner really resembled her! He is very similar to his boss. When he thought that, the smile that had just expanded on his lips instantly disappeared.

   “Can't, it's a privacy issue,” said Heaven ketus.

“You can't force someone if he doesn't want.” He then took out the remaining food and started eating again.

Paula snickered and really wanted to hit Heaven on the head, but it would be impolite to do so in front of a stranger.

But he really wanted to hit her! How could this kid be so rude? David is the man they just helped, but despite that, Paula knows that David is no ordinary man.

His energy base was huge, otherwise how could he still be able to live in a place like this without water and food?

   “Alright, it's up.” David was really irritated, he really wanted to know who the child was but Heaven instead answered him so harshly? Huh, if he doesn't have good patience for the time being it's afraid that the brat can't live to eat tomorrow morning.

Meanwhile, Riander scratched his head in confusion. He did not understand anything but he guessed that this man might know something about the original old man of Heaven.

But does Heaven have such thoughts? He had no thoughts of anything other than filling his stomach for now.
