The Escapades
Episode 34

He walked closer to the other three who were already on the edge of the lake with the Riander, but just a few steps, the sound of footsteps coming from behind sounded and distracted all of them.

That's Oberyn and Diego with their team. They walked leisurely as they approached Riander and his team.

“Hoho, it looks like your little brother preceded us,” Diego told Oberyn standing next to him.

Riander frowned, but after hearing how Diego called them by the word ‘kita’ he immediately realized that they were on the same side!

The two teams become one unit, either for the sake of passing the test or for the sake of unity. But as soon as he understood, it must be for the sake of wholeness. Neither one party nor both, in the end only profit they seek.

But in the end the victory belongs to only one person and not two.

“Leave it, I'm not interested,” Oberyn said with a smile as she looked at Riander.

But someone from his team quickly interjected, “But we want it!” He said as if they could pick it up easily without having to care about the whereabouts of Riander and the others.

Heaven clenched his fists and looked extremely angry, as did Paula, Bella and Liam. They're just as angry.

They were the first to discover it, how could the newly arrived team want to take it for granted before their eyes?! They are so shameless!

Riander wanted to talk but Wira quickly blocked him while smiling meaningfully as she said, “If they want, they can take it.”

Everyone was shocked, including Oberyn. It was a precious object of great value but they actually let others take it for granted even though they were the first to find it.

Oberyn did not care at all, but Diego and the others did not! There was a flash of light as their eyes were fixed on the small land in the middle of the lake.

“Go! Take that thing!” Diego could not wait any longer and immediately gave the order.

All of its members started flying towards the middle of the lake. Heaven wanted to stop them but Wira immediately prevented it and shook her head as a gesture.

Heaven scrunched his forehead and did not understand at all, but a moment later the roar from the middle of the lake sounded along with a heartbreaking human scream.

Everyone felt their fur sitting on them standing up.

It was an Ancient Animal level monster!

Diego and Oberyn head to a small landmass in the middle of the lake to rescue their team members.  

But their presence provoked the fury of the giant dragon and his movements became more and more brutal. One of the juniors hanging from Diego's left hand was bitten and left only half of his body now in the water.

There was panic and there was blood everywhere. The lake water turned into a pool of blood and the atmosphere became increasingly gripping.

“Quick! Quickly go from here!” Diego shouted loudly at his surviving members.

The atmosphere grew increasingly chaotic as the dragon raged and the lake water turned into a huge wave like a tsunami.

Oberyn clucked in annoyance, throwing his team members still hanging on his hands and feet to the edge of the lake. He then turned around and one of his fists was released right on the dragon monster's face.

His aura became increasingly violent as the two of them both retreated. But the monster was not injured at all. Oberyn became serious now and there was a blaze in his fist as he became faster and faster.

He flew away at an incredible speed and re-released his second fist while the monster also shot towards him at the same speed.

Diego couldn't swallow his surprise. Oberyn's second fist contained at least eighty percent or perhaps ninety percent of his strength. Oberyn's physique was very special but it didn't even leave any scratches!

He swallowed his saliva with great difficulty. His eyes then turned to look at Riander and intended to ask for his help.

“Rian! Riand!” He ran towards Riander until he fell down when his feet tripped over a rock causing a loud thud.

Everyone stared at him including his own team members. They could not believe their own eyes, Diego crawled towards the Riander and immediately grabbed his feet as if afraid of Riander leaving. 

“Please! Please save me!” He knelt down as he continued to hold onto Rian's feet with a face filled with fear.

He actually crawled like a dog and begged!

Diego doesn't care about Oberyn anymore, that idiot might have died being ripped apart by that dragon monster! His only hope is to utilize Riander and his team to distract the giant dragon while he leaves from there.

“Why? Didn't you guys want to take the God Blood Shell that was there?” wira asked calmly as she pointed to the middle of the lake.

“No! Nah! It's yours, it's yours how could we take it!”

He became even more panicked when he heard it and immediately switched to hugging the legs of the Hero, but the Hero did not care at all.

Riander looked anxious as he turned his head to look towards the lake that had regained its calm as the fog due to the battle slowly disappeared.

Without waiting any longer, she immediately flew across the lake to check on her brother's state.

While the eyes of all ten teams were still staring at Diego who was kneeling while hugging the legs of the Hero and not letting him go at all.

A few minutes ago Diego was still very arrogant and was intent on seizing the treasure they found. But now he was kneeling before them in an extremely miserable state!

They all wanted to beat him up but Heaven had other plans as he put a creepy grin on his face.

He stepped forward and stood beside the Hero. His eyes turned especially evil when he saw Diego looking up to look at him.

“Ingin we help you?”

Diego immediately nodded. But upon seeing the strange smile that Heaven displayed he became nervous instantly. He tried to swallow his saliva with difficulty when his throat felt dry from being too nervous.

“What if we don't want to help?”

Diego was stunned and his heart almost slipped from its place! What if they don't help? Of course he must be dead!

Diego really doesn't know what to do, he really wants to cry right now. But in the next second he realized something.

He immediately turned his head to his team members and forced them to give their tokens and immediately went back to kneeling in front of them.

What is self-esteem or what are points? Of course his life is more important!
