Episode 43

“Huff, already lost,” Heaven said with relief.

The hero looked up towards Heaven when he heard his voice but then he quickly said, “See your left.”

Heaven who heard that turned his head to his left, the little spirit was already there right next to Heaven.

   “Haa! Ouch.” He was shocked until his hand slipped and fell from the tree.

Heaven grimaced while holding his head that hit the ground while Paula laughed out loud looking at that.

   “Damn it!” standing up, his hand still holding his aching head.

Riander paid no attention to anything as he quickly flew over to catch the little spirit but again he failed as the small smoke again disappeared.

Riander jumped up again when the little spirit appeared to him again but again he disappeared.

Riander did not care about anything and continued to jump from place to place following where the little spirit had appeared.

   “Senior, wait!” Paula called out to him when they also followed Riander's movements, but he was too fast that they almost lost track.

The Riander continued to move jumping from one side to the other and continued to chase as if he could not hear or feel anything other than the existence of that little spirit. They also had no other choice but to follow their seniors.

They were all getting into the dark forest and the air was getting colder.

The more they entered following the Riander the more they felt uneasy, a sudden unease permeated their hearts as if there were many eyes watching them.

   “Senior!”

Riander stopped, Heaven and the others also stopped and stood behind him.

Rian stood there and neither moved nor spoke, he seemed to be a statue. But when they saw what the senior saw, they also felt as if their eyes were fixated, their hearts were beating very fast and they became horrified instantly.

There were many little spirits in front of them, not just one or two but there were two or three hundred there. They were floating and the light from them illuminated the dark place.

   “There are people!” liam said quickly as he pointed to the dark cliff at the end of the dark forest.

Someone was trapped on the cliff wall and half of his body was buried into one with a rock cliff.

That horrifying sight made all of them shudder even Wira slightly rounded her eyes in surprise.

The Riander walked slowly on the other as they got closer to the rock cliffs.

Due to the lack of lighting they could not clearly see the face, but seen up close, he was a man.

Many wounds on his body were also there was a lot of blood everywhere filling half of his body that could be seen.

   “They ... that little spirit that led us here?” Paula asked hesitantly. Although she was a brave girl but this time it seemed that she was also starting to feel uneasy.

   “I think so,” replied Riander as she looked up to notice the man up there.

The man opened his eyes as his ears caught a faint faint sound.

His eyes looked at the many young people below him and looked at him in horror.

He moved his lips but no sound came out from there, his lips were pale and dry with a lot of skin peeling from dehydration.

The man was very weak and somewhat skinny, there was a basin under his eyes as well as his hair was long and very messy covered in dust.

He rubbed his nape slowly and began to feel increasingly uncomfortable, but the cold came again and when he turned to look Heaven was behind him while blowing towards his nape.

   “Basic Jerk!” Paula wanted to hit him but Heaven quickly dodged and hid behind Wira while sticking out her tongue.

Paula was really annoyed, they were in a strange situation right now and there was also a stranger who was cooped up on a rock cliff in front of them but this Heaven could still joke around and even mock her.

Paula clenched her fists hard and was eager to beat up this bastard, but she preferred to control her emotions somewhat not to aggravate the situation.

   “Let's help free him,” Riander's orders as he turns to stare at them.

   “Seriously? What if he's a bad guy or it turns out that a demon is deliberately in brackets here for almost destroying the world?”

Bugh!

Paula could not stand it anymore, she hit Heaven on the head so hard that the boy fell to the ground.

“Your mind is too far!” cibir Paula with low growl.

   “What? I'm just guessing!”

Heaven covered his head with a hand when Paula looked like she wanted to punch him again, but it turned out that the fist was not up.

Heaven only heard a rude snort when Paula pulled her fist again and turned her face away.

   “We help him, maybe he knows where Syufu Flower is.”

   “Good.”

Although they were hesitant and somewhat scared but what Rian said was true, time kept going and now it was only two more days before they had to return to the academy. There were still two more places after this so they had to hurry before the precious treasure fell into the hands of others.

Riander twisted his body and raised his gaze back up. The old man up there returned unconscious with his head drooping. His hands were chained on both sides with rusty iron chains.

   “Remember! Slowly, not to make him hurt,” shouted Riander as they were already flying through the air and started trying to free the man from the cliff.

   “This chain is so strong,” Bella said as she tried to destroy the large chain that tied the man's left hand.

Liam opposite him did the same, but the chain was very hard and impossible to break.

   “Very ... Hard!” Liam was still trying to untie the chain that was snaring the man's hand, his breathing started to pant but it still didn't work out at all.

   “Heaven, what are you doing?” asked Rian cringing.

Heaven turned his head then said, “Helps to free him,” he said while his hand continued to dig out bit by bit the ground that buried half the man's body.

Riander patted his forehead then said in a frustrated-sounding voice, “If so, when can we get it out?”

   “Stupid basis,” chirps Paula who is now helping Bella untie the chain.

Heaven scratched his non-itchy head while smiling widely.

   “Alright, alright, there is no need to be too serious,” Heaven said as he straightened his body floating in the air.

He then turned to Wira and there was a strange smile on his face. “We have an expert here,” he said upon seeing Wira.
