Episode 37's

“Beware, there are enemies!”

Everyone immediately realized that they had been surrounded from all directions and had no escape gap at all. But they were undaunted, quickly they were all ready to fight with the enemy.

It was a middle-class monster race, Lizardman or lizard man.

The swamp was indeed a very suitable residence but no one would have thought that even a poisonous swamp did not prevent them from settling down.

   “Hahaha, leave your goods immediately or ..”

The big lizard was wearing golden armor with a spear in one hand that was also made of gold.

“Heh, lizards can also rob as it turns,” said Heaven while laughing mocking them.

The group of Lizardmen immediately became furious after hearing the words Heaven said.

“How dare a lowly human like you insult the Lizardmen!” raung was one of those wearing armour. Heaven could guess that he was the leader.

   “Serang! Chop them up for dinner!” shouted the Lizardman leader furiously.

The group of lizard humans quickly attacked the Riander team. The battle broke out, it happened in the middle of a swamp that continuously released poisonous gas nonstop.

The Riander team and the group of Lizardman races were attacking each other.

“Lack of their leaders!” riander shouted at his members as he fought the Lizardman army.

The lizard-man army was twice their number it continued to attack them nonstop and their movements were also very fast.

Their webbed feet make it easier for them to walk in swamps, in contrast to humans who used to live on normal land plains.

The Lizardman squad leader laughed out loud as he saw their target outnumbered.

“Give up and I will let you die without torment,” he said arrogantly.

Liam made a lot of fireballs and attacked the lizard man army but Bella's screams instantly spread her concentration until one of the lizard man's spears managed to pierce her right leg.

“Bella are you okay?” He ignored her pain, it was nothing with Bella.

He turned to look at Bella's condition but when he turned his face away, a figure of Lizarman was already there and pointed his spear at Liam.

Liam's heart was pounding violently and his blood became turbulent upon seeing the shiny iron spear tip before his eyes.

It was only an inch away for the spear to pierce through Liam's head but suddenly the army of lizard-man stopped and they all turned their heads in the same direction.

Their leader has been taken hostage!

   “Ber ... stop everything!” The leader of the lizard-man army shouted trembling as he felt the coldness of the long sword already stuck to his neck.

Riander Chigo was already behind him with a sword around his neck.

“Dispose ... discard all your weapons!”

All the lizard-man troops immediately released their weapons and raised their hands behind their heads.

The leader of the lizardman army did not dare to move at all and did not shift an inch from his place.

Paula and the others soon tie the Lizardman's army with ropes, while Bella takes Liam to the edge of the swamp to treat his wounds.

Riander's instructions were immediately carried out after they dragged a group of Lizardmen towards the edge of the swamp and stacked them into one.

After Rian reached the edge, he turned his head again to the leader of the Lizardman army who was in front of him.

   “Say! How long have you been staying here?”

Riander did not make any further pleasantries and pressed his sword against the neck of the lizard's human squad leader to the point of scratching him and spitting out some blood.

“Have ... very long,” he replied with eyes that were almost out of tension.

Riander frowned as his eyes narrowed, then looked back at the leader of the lizard-man army coldly and said, “Take us to where you live.”

The leader of the Lizardman army had no other choice. So he quickly nodded and led the way towards the Lizardman settlement at the end of the swamp.

The lizard-man army and their leader were then led, along a damp and misty swamp. The most toxic gas comes from the middle of the swamp so they choose to walk a little edge to avoid danger.

There were no other monsters there, the Riander was increasingly convinced that the Lizardman race living here was the owner of this land. They must have occupied this place for a long time but he was not sure how long it was.

He was more curious how the Lizardmen were not affected at all against the poisonous gas, could it be that they had a gene mutation and had evolved to survive in their living quarters.

But it took a very long time to adjust, how long had these Lizardmen been living in the poisonous swamp?

Along the way, the Lizardmen felt like they were in hell because they were being bullied by Heaven.

They were all grimacing in heart and cursing their bad luck today for meeting such a crazy human.

   “Hehe, Uncle Lizard, your armor is good too. If it is sold must be expensive,” he said with a laugh thinking about how much money will be generated when selling gold armor.

While the leader of the army immediately hugged tightly the armour wrapped around his body and said angrily,

“My name is Drake not Uncle Lizard! Anyway, I won't sell it.”

Heaven grinned as he brought his face closer to Drake as he said, “Come on, the price must be very high if they knew this armor was actually worn by the lizard.”

Drake widened his eyes when he heard how the insane human child still remained stubborn and wanted to sell his armor, especially the way he called his race. A lizard? They're Lizardmen not lizards!

But Drake did not dare to shout at all, he glanced at Rian who was walking beside him warily.

Drake repeatedly swallowed his saliva as he felt Riander glancing at him with a cold gaze, as if there was a laser there and he could die at any moment.

After a while, the fog from the poisonous gas started to look faded and slowly became very thin as they looked at the light at the dark and damp end of the swamp.

After they came out of the dark swamp, they were all dumbstruck. Liam even lowered his glasses repeatedly while rubbing his eyes in disbelief.

A Lizarman settlement!

It is very crowded and there are many inhabitants.

Drake and his still-tied army continued walking towards the house of their clan head, but they were immediately surrounded by many male Lizardmen even as they had only stepped in a few times.

They all pointed their spearheads towards Riander and the others as they quickly surrounded to encircle.

   “How dare a human break through to the Lizardman clan territory!” one of them shouted furiously.
