The Escapades

The Escapades
Episode 22

“Go shower there!” Heaven chased him away ferociously.

Paul wanted to refuse but Heaven glared at him so inevitably he reluctantly left.

All his men were astonished, Heaven glared at Paul and even chased him away? Perhaps he was the only person who dared to do that in this entire land.

...

While Heaven and Wira were sitting at the banquet table, Paul went to change his clothes.

“So, what really happened? The Head of the Academy has sent out many search teams but none of them have found you or even your trail.” Paul started with the question as they enjoyed the meal together.

Heaven was about to reply but Paul's hand waved to tell him not to speak because his mouth was full of food.

After all that was swallowed Heaven replied, “Of course they won't find me.”

“But the head of the academy may as well, he is willing to do many things for me.” There was an evil laugh on his face as he said that.

“By also your head!”

Heaven does not know what Paul has sacrificed to get a lot of help from the old fox and Heaven instead says he is good? His brain needs to be repaired.

“So ... ekhem, who are you carrying?” He coughed a few times while staring at Wira.

“I Wira,” he said with a smile.

Heaven was done with his food and he gulped down a lot of water.

“He Wira and he will stay here with us,” said Heaven as if all the decisions were in his hands and that was for sure.

Paul did not say anything but he laughed and nodded in agreement.

“Thank you uncle.” The woman bowed her body with respect.

“What did you say?” ask Paul angrily.

Heaven glanced at him as he bit his apple in surprise while Wira frowned.

Is there something wrong with his words?

Do people outside the Glass World interpret the word ‘Thank You’ as an insult? The hero became nervous and immediately wanted to apologize.

“How can you call me uncle, call me ‘Dad’ understand?”

The hero felt his heart would jump out of his mouth. He glanced at Heaven and saw him nod enthusiastically.

He just got here and they don't even know each other. How could he raise her to be his son?

The hero quickly bowed again and thanked him once again.

“Hahaha, good-good!” Paul laughed loudly.

Paul was not anxious at all and was not too wary of the Hero, if he was a friend of Heaven it was enough for him and he believed.

After all if someone betrays him, there is no good ending for them other than death.

“So where have you been all this time? Even the envoy from the City Master also lost track of you. I thought you were eaten by a beast, huhu.”

Paul was almost crazy thinking about Heaven. He didn't live for himself, what would he be if Heaven died?

“He didn't experience all those bad things,” Wira said calmly.

The few female servants that Heaven requested came and won tea for the Hero, soon the room was filled with the distinctive aroma of tea.

“She got into my small world and settled some time there.”

“You have your own little world?”

Paul was shocked and he was even more shocked when he heard what Heaven said. He looked at the Hero in disbelief.

How is that possible?

He was so young, his age might not differ much from Heaven. How could he be so great? Even himself is not necessarily able to create his own small world.

The hero knows Paul does not believe, so he explains further.

“It's just a legacy from my mom.”

Paul exhaled a breath that he had been holding back from, it reminded Wira of the first time Heaven met Shilpy. The fruit fell not far from the tree, he silently smiled in his heart.

“So, your mother is already at the level of Master Element or True Raga?”

Hero shakes. “I don't know, he's long gone,” he replied.

Paul looked at Heaven and he shook his head to prevent Paul from continuing the topic.

“Alright, you yourself are already at what level?” Paul asked again awkwardly.

“If you think about it, you can already save the Little World into the Spirit sea at least already at the swordsman level, right?”

The hero shook his head again making Paul scratch his head and glanced at Heaven again. Heaven sneered at his temple resignedly, his father was unable to communicate well.

“Already, we are tired and want to rest.”

Paul nodded and quickly said, “That's right, rest here first. I'll have someone drive you to your room.”

Heaven did not say anything more and immediately left, already quite tired of walking all day and when he came home had to face his father's ridiculous behavior, really make him tired. He just wants to sleep now.

“Thank you,” Wira said as her body returned slightly bent.

Paul stood there waiting for the next speech of the Hero with a flat face.

“ ... Father.”

There was a strange vibration as he said the word, he was not used to it and it made him uncomfortable.

Paul smiled with satisfaction then told someone to take the Hero to rest immediately.

“Fun yourself from now on,” Paul said before he disappeared back into his private room.

In Paul Falamir's private room

Tora was there all afternoon because Paul asked her to listen to his story.

“You know, when he was little he didn't even want to get off my sling. But did you see that?”

“She even kicked me out in front of so many eyes.”

He nagged all afternoon and told how his son's attitude had differed from small to present.

“Maybe due to promiscuity.” Tora guessed uncertainly.

“Cannot.” He waved his hand in disbelief.

“She doesn't have many friends, and all her friends I know.”

Paul is sure about that. He suddenly remembered the figure of the Hero, the boy ...

His face turned serious as he asked, “What do you think of the boy?”

Tora was silent for a while before finally answering, “She looks unusual.”

“Do you not believe it?”
