The soil in this place is very dry and arid and many dry trees are blackened.
Vultures perched on tree branches stared at them, preparing to eat if one of them lost their lives.
Reander smelled a fragrant smell and followed it, until they reached a vast field of flowers.
“Flower fields in a place like this?”
“It feels strange, especially the soil is very dry and not fertile at all.”
“Don't these be Imperial Flowers Crystal Fire!” screeched one of them while pointing at the flower.
“Imperial Fire Crystal is one of the rarest medicinal plants, the other” chimed in.
“Not only that, the person who can absorb and purify the energy from the Fire Crystal Imperial flower will be able to have the fire element,” explained Riander Chigo.
They stared wildly at that patch of flower fields and there was a glint in their eyes. A second later all of Riander Chigo's men started madly running towards the flower fields.
Everyone madly started picking the flower as much as possible, but their leader was still silent on the spot frowning.
He felt that something was amiss but quickly shook his head and began to advance.
“Aghr-!” the scream came from the flower field.
Someone lying on the ground with a decomposing body, before long screams and other howls sounded intertwined and some of them fell apart, dying and decaying rapidly.
“This flower is poisonous!” one of them shouted but it was too late, instantly all the search team members were lying on the ground and lifeless.
Riander Chigo watched the horrifying scene and began to shudder, all his men just dying from their greed.
This had not even been a single day, although there was no trace of time there but indeed they had just set foot in the Demon Land not too long ago.
Riander turned around immediately and started to move away from there. “I will never doubt my instincts again!”
Two days and two nights passed and Riander was finally able to find the rusty gate again.
He returned to the Upper Wind Academy by flying over a large sheet of maple dawah.
In front of the Academy gates, two guards were conversing to remove the boredom from the rotating task of guarding the gates.
Actually it was just a formality, since who would dare to riot in the Cloud Upper Academy? Do they want to die?
They continued to talk until they were surprised by something falling from the sky, making dust cloud the view.
“Who is it?!” one of them shouted. The two people quickly stood up with an attitude of anticipation.
“This is me.” That voice sounded very weak.
After the dust had disappeared into the wind, there appeared to be someone lying on the ground, looking very bad in broken clothes and a body full of wounds and bleeding.
“It's me, help me.” The whimper once again.
The two quickly helped him up.
“Young Master Riander! What happened to you?”
They quickly brought him into the Academy for treatment.
Riander Chigo Room.
Riander Chigo was lying weakly on his bed, there were many bandages wrapping around some parts of his body. Someone opened the door of the room following a few footsteps.
“Rian, how are you?”
It was his adoptive father, Hydra Jogmungandr as well as some of the academy leaders and his two older brothers.
Riander got up from his position and sat leaning on the head of the bed.
“I'm fine, the elders don't have to worry.”
“True, Sister, stop being so strong. Okay!” connect Oberyn Chigo.
Riander was only able to nod. It's free to pretend that even a five-year-old knows that his injuries are serious and painful.
“What happened exactly?” tanya Handeen Vader, Field Chair of the Academy Hall By Wind.
Riander then told him what he had been through in the Demon Land.
It was an experience that he would never forget in his lifetime, those who only heard the story had been very creepy let alone Riander who experienced it himself.
That place is the land of demons!
That place is truly hell!
“Chairman, what Riander experienced was terrible. Fortunately he could return safely,” Suanshe said.
“True, Riander is greatly blessed by heaven, although Riander has reached the Element Swordsman Realm but the chances of returning alive from the Devil's Land are very small.” Thier, one of the Academy's top brass, said.
Hydra nodded small. This child has the blessing of heaven.
Suanshe gave a thin grin, a sneaky idea suddenly appearing in her brain.
“Chairman, Young master Riander may hear congratulations again but the team he brought no one back. The academy is already a big loss in this,” Suanshe said in a serious tone.
Headeen understood where this conversation was going and immediately took part.
No matter how small the fire, he would use it to burn Paul and his son. His eyes soon became very evil!
“True, Chairman, if this continues then-”
Headeen had not yet finished his sentence, Riander fell out of bed and kowtowed in front of Hydra.
His forehead was united with the cold floor.
“This is my fault, please the Chairman punish!”
Everyone in the room gasped, some grimacing as the white bandage wrapped around Riander's body now turned red as the wound reopened.
“Dad!”
“Chairman!”
Hydra remained silent for a while before finally sighing heavily.
“Wake up, after all this is not your fault.”
Oberyn Chigo came forward trying to help her sister to get back on the bed but was refused.
“No brother, however as team leader I am the one in charge of this mission and their lives.
And now it's not just a mission, but I'm failing to defend the lives of my men! This is ...” Riander was unable to continue his words. Every word he spoke was the truth that pierced his heart.
This was his first failure!
Everyone there looked at each other worriedly.
“Riander, it's not your fault. Isn't it not good to put the chairman in this position?” thier.
Riander did not budge, still prostrating with a very sick heart.
“this is wrong that damn kid!” oberyn was angry.
“True, Chairman, this is very not worth the losses experienced by the Academy,” continued Thier and got a nod from others.
Oberyn Chigo advanced to face the Hydra.
“If you can't play a good father at least be a wise leader!”
Plaque!
